I was never told by letter or email, and that was never ever shared with me. In case you didn't know what a lien was: "A legal right to possess another's property until a debt is repaid or an obligation is met." So in other words, the bank thought that someone co-owned my property. Now why would this be required for such a small loan that is in good standing (paying on-time monthly)? I had a larger loan with another company for my windows/doors yet they DID NOT feel the need to place a lien on my property. This place is untrustworthy, and sneaky, and I WILL NOT be doing business with them again. I do not recommend them as a company. I suggest you seek other options or at the very minimum demand another Financing Company.

I called Carlos back for a bigger job- to run a secondary condensate line once I had discovered…read morethat my unit shared a main drain with others in the building (townhouse condos). He replaced pipes for the original (shared) line which had clogged again quickly (because of other units) and ran an independent line straight out of my townhouse. It was a fairly major project since my garage ceiling needed to be opened up for the new pipes to be laid. He also redesigned the plumbing below the physical a/c unit removing unnecessary bends, and set the proper pitch for the water to flow. The new line works beautifully, is a robust solution and spares me any effects of the original plumbing backing up now that I have my own indepenedent condensate drain. This was a much bigger project than I expected but Carlos had all the right tools and know-how to get the job done properly!
