I had a mechanic somewhere else tell me I needed a new catalytic converter for slow and choppy acceleration, so I went here to check my engine performance. Miguel checked out my car and told me the cat converter did not seem to be the problem and suggested that I start with spark plugs and coil packs and low and behold that did the trick. In a town full of corrupt mechanics, I am so happy to have an honest smog shop read more

Called while I was driving to them and they said they could take me in. Said they'd honor the Groupon price without going through Groupon. That's was nice. Good customer service too. read more

Beware of "Bait & Switch". He told me since I was a repeat customer that I would receive $10 off (which is the discount he offers to everyone on Yelp) and when I reviewed my invoice he only gave me a $5 discount. I was going to promote him at my work because we have a lot of walk in automotive customers but I don't think I will now that I see how he does business. 3 stars for the speedy service on a Saturday. UPDATE: Peter the Manager called me and said he would fix the error. I have updated my rating to reflect the correction. Josh is a good guy and probably was just having a bad day. I will be recommending them to all my family, friends, and customers. read more

Horrible service. I gifted my son a Groupon for a smog check and they would not honor it. Ended up charging my son $102.00 for a smog check with zero engine problems. Complete nonsense!! They should be ashamed. read more

I highly recommend Temecula Smog. We've taken our cars in for years at this smog check place. Excellent customer service and very professional and friendly staff. There right next to the Toyota dealer on Ynez with the big yellow smog check sign half way down the row of businesses. Ray was our attendant and he greeted me with a smile and a warm welcome. I highly recommend. Oh and we passed inspection.... We always take care of our cars. Mike & Debbie, Temecula. read more

They went above and beyond to find reasons to fail my diesel truck. The strange thing is I have used Temecula Smog several times in the past, and every time it has passed. No changes to my truck between the last time it passed and its current state. Either Temecula Smog got caught doing something they should not have, and are now ultra paranoid, or they are just unqualified to perform smog test services. There are MANY other smog test shop options nearby. Don't bother with Temecula Smog. read more
