Beautiful place to take pictures or have a picnic w the fam and just enjoy the ducks & scenery. Located on Rancho Cal Rd & Ynez right off the 15 fwy. Took my kids here last week for HoCo pics and they turned out beautiful. The background was gorgeous!! Lots of Asian themed structures like the giant torii that greets you at the entrance, guzei, and several pagodas around the pond. I like to walk around the pond since it's really beautiful and calming. The vibe is very peaceful and serene. *Pro-tip: Walk up the hill and get a dozen breadsticks from Oscar's Brewing Company. The breadsticks are fire (and yes, BETTER THAN Olive Garden breadsticks). You're welcome!

Took Prince to see the ducks. One of our best ponds in Temecula. Not too big, not too small. I wish I could walk here every morning.

    Two ducks swimming.

Beautiful escape from the city offered by the city. Enjoyable family friendly duck pond. There is a sidewalk encircling the pond where you can walk and enjoy the views. The ducks are not scared of visitors. Some people bring lettuce to feed them and I believe they have become accustomed to this. The water is clean and there are nice shady patches where the trees cover the walkway. You can walk to the brewery from the duck pond which is nice after a hot day to get a refreshing beer.

Such a beautiful pond!!! There were some very big ducks there! And the pond is full of little turtles swimming everywhere! Loved it.

Super cute place to walk around and just look at ducks, the sculptures, and to take in the scenery. The address on Yelp and google took me to the other side of the fwy. Basically, if you're going up a hill, you're going the opposite way. Look for Ynez St. Or just look at google map, you won't miss it. Anyways, when we went, part of the trail was kinda flooded and we weren't able to make the whole loop, otherwise, I can tell that it would be a nice place to bring out that baby stroller and meet some ducks. Its a cute place for a photo op too. There is a small memorial landmark within the park too. It's a really cute place to visit if you're in the area.

If you love to watch birds and turtles then this is the place for you. There's not much shade around the water line but beyond the gated area you can sit and watch. I had some treats on me and the ducks knew who to follow once they saw FOOD! If you have small children they will have a fun time here.

Beautiful pond! We stopped off for the little ones to see the ducks. They had fun on our little walk and seeing the ducks all around them. We caught a beautiful sunset, and it was a nice spot to catch some fresh air before heading home.

In town and needed to take our dog somewhere to run. The park itself is on a busy street corner but it is well kept and clean. There is a big duck pond that is fenced off and there are gates all around to enter. You can walk around the pond in a cement pathway with grass all around. Perfect for walking your pooch. Though there is little passing room if your dog doesn't like other dogs and you may have to walk up onto the grass for a moment. There are signs to not feed the ducks but everyone seems to do so. May impact the very blue dyed water? There is a big grassy hill outside of the fence like that we spent most of our time at. There were no other dogs in the grassy hill area when we were there so we let ours off leash and played fetch for a bit to wind him down. Very pleasant- we even sat and had a meal on the grass there without anyone else coming by despite how centrally located it was. Would stop in here again if we needed a pit stop. There's also bathrooms here that are fairly clean and picnic benches. No playground for kiddos though.

Well Date of Visit : April 2 , 2023 and I was in Temecula and my son wanted to go to a park and I heard of Temecula Duck Pond which Is not to big of a Park but it is a park for everyone !! As I was driving around Temecula I kind of searched for this park and it is not hard to find !! Well first there is parking around the park and the lake wraps around the park and it has lots of ducky's and all sorts of ducks laying around and in the lake !! Perfect for a walk or just to relax and enjoy !! Well the lake is sapose to be blue but I noticed the water was brown and probably the rain caused it to be brown !! So When we got here we walk around and it is a park good for taking pictures !! The beautiful trees and big green area of grass around the park is an great place to have a picnic or to just sit and grab a bite to eat even to relax !! There are a few benches for you to sit also !! Just across from this park there is an Shopping Center also !! So if your looking for a park to take your family or Friends please don't hesitate and check out this park !! You can even feed the ducks also !! Lots of fun for kids !! There are shaded areas for you also if you don't like the sun !! Overall we enjoyed it and shall return and enjoy More !!!

Nice peaceful park located in the middle of Temecula. Enjoy the ducks, turtles, the sister city items here including the Torii gate from Japan and the bicycle with three on it from the Netherlands. Quite a small park, but has its own parking lot. Nice to walk around and enjoy the wildlife or just sit and enjoy the serenity. Please RESPECT the park and pick up any trash you see to keep this place looking good for yourself others to enjoy :-). Well worth a stop if you are in Temecula and want to chill for 1/2hr or so.

This is always a great place to come for a walk. There are many ducks and turtles. They also have statues around the pond... it is a nice place to come and relax. There are many areas to take nice pictures. My favorite part of this duck pond is the statue that is dedicated to all fallen heroes. No fishing or feeding the ducks.

We live close to the Temecula Duck Pond and are able to walk over. There is, however, plenty of parking. Today, New Year's Day, is a wonderful time to take a walk around the pond. It is warm and sunny with quite a few visitors. Some are just walking around but a few are picnicing and have towels down on the ground. Many are wearing masks! It only takes about ten minutes to walk all the way around. This is my kind of exercise. Our small dog just loves it. Several ducks look hopefully at us as birds are circling overhead. If you are able, visit the Duck Pond. A good time will be had by all.

We drove the hour to come up from San Diego to Temecula to visit this park and spend the day with littles. Arrived at noon on a weekday, and the team was very informative about their lunch time closure and process. Check the city website. They do have great information and details there as well. I love that things were fenced off -- both around the playground and again around the splash pad -- to moderate the number of folks entering and exiting. The team working there is very kind.. keeps a good eye on the littles (parents do need to enter with the kids).. and do moderate the number of folks to avoid over crowding. This splash pad is associated with the Margarita Community park (https://www.yelp.com/biz/margarita-community-park-temecula) but the splash pad itself is listed separately with the city. I wanted to recognize the great job the team working the splash pad did. It's not huge.. but it's just right for kids up to early elementary. Mostly for the littles in attendance are of the age where they are just discovering their walking skills and can enjoy the splash of water on a hot day. The other kids weren't too crazy or rambunctious.. so I felt safe. Parents that day (weekday during school hours).. did pay close attention to their own children to keep everyone in check. There is one outdoor shower post to rinse off (the water is highly chlorinated -- or has a smell like outdoor pool water). Not much shade so definitely bring the sunscreen and hats. Recommend water shoes... even though the ground was clean and paved, the ground does get a bit toasty and it's just safer imo. They run in 55 minute increments to then shut the water off. and give the space a break and refresh the crowds. Once school lets out.. it does get more crowded in both the park and the splash pad. I believe the splash pad (as well as the surrounding park) are ADA accessible which is fantastic. I'm happy to see that all friends, of all abiliites, are able to enjoy fun time in the sun! Lots of fun.. and wish we lived closer!

There is a huge grass field to the left of this picture and plenty of shaded tables to the right of the pictured area. There is a bathroom available but it is porta-potty style. The park is well kept and always clean. Due to the amount of mature trees in this park there is always plenty of shade no matter what time of day you are here. I can see this being great for parties but keep in mind it's street parking so it is limited on the amount of cars that'll fit. There are slides for all age groups as well as climbing areas for all difficulty levels. The disk swing in the center is a huge hit with all the kids and when more than a couple families are here there is always a line for it. One nice thing I have noticed, usually you can hear frogs chirping in the bushes. It's a really cool sound that makes you feel far outside the city and is really enjoyable:) Come check this park out for yourself, it'll quickly become a favorite!!
