I couldn't believe the wonderful location of my room in this hotel. My room looked out onto a wooden platform (where I could have sat if it had ever stopped raining) and then over rolling hills and the countryside. The room was small but lovely, the bed was very comfortable and the tv had a decent number of channels for the short time I would be spending in the room.
The location of the hotel itself is really good, near the Exeter St Davids station and not too far from the city centre. Breakfast was ok..I don't really like English breakfasts so I had to ask for certain things to be left off which they didn't always get right.
The worst thing about my stay was the light coloured curtains. It was impossible to avoid the early morning sun pouring into the room and waking me up before 7am (fine on any other day, but not on holiday).
The staff were friendly and If I come back to Exeter I might well stay here again. read more
