There is a good selection of draught ales, which are not unreasonably priced. The staff and clientele are exceptionally friendly, and the DJ was incredibly talented. We were just passing through and found a rumbly in our tumblies and had no idea where to stop. We found The Fat Pig to have an adequate menu for budgets and diets. I had the pork belly roast (£10) and a Malbec, while my veggie friend had a gorgeous salad. We both enjoyed our meals and service. The pub itself has a nice range of booze behind the bar. I can imagine it would be a good place to get a drink. Based on it's location, I wonder what kind of crowd it gets on the weekend. There are no TVs, so it is not your usual loud crowd pub for sports events. All in all, it was a perfect stop with ample (paid) parking just across the street.

The thin crust appealed to me and was tasty and the toppings were substantial: no skimping here! The pizza size is enormous and thank the lord the bar provides foil for leftovers. The pizza is also served piping hot so watch out! The ciders are fairly priced and there is a wide range. The interior and decor are very kitschy with Christmas lights strung up and it's welcome to large groups. I went earlier so it wasn't busy but this place can get slammed.
