Took my Focus in to have an A/C clutch installed. They called and said they would install an a/c clutch and pulley kit ($500+). I asked again about just doing a clutch. She said she would check on parts availability. Later in the day the service advisor called and said they needed a special tool to do the job, and because they didn't have one they couldn't do it. However they could do it when the bill was going to be $500+. After talking to the general manager they said there not comfortable doing it. To different stories. I think they just wanted the 500 and would not do it the cheaper way. Not sure I can trust them now. I've had a lot of work done there and this is the first time I've had a problem. My mom went to get her car inspected, and they failed it, saying she needed almost $1100.00 in brake repair. Her car has about 37k miles on it. She was scared to even drive it home. We drove it to another place ( we had no problems with the brakes) and had them inspect it. They said the brakes were very good and had no problems. I am glad she called and asked me before she said yes. She is an elderly lady on a fixed income. read more

Do not use this place for vehicle inspections... I was hopeful to get an honest safety inspection, I was wrong. Instead, I was told both control arms need to be completely replaced because my bushings have been "disintegrated" it would cost 1,055$ A second opinion showed that was a straight up lie. I was traveling from MN to TX in mid June when my AC decided it didn't want to work any more. They were able to get my car in at 730 the next morning and able to repair it that day. All the employees I worked with were really nice and polite. The bonus was they didn't discount what I was saying even though it was a somewhat inconsistent problem and I'm female. read more

These people are a bunch of crooks took my work van in because of a rattle when I put the car in drive. They tell me my crankshaft is damaged and would need a full engine replacement and quoted me 6200.00 also gave me a list of other things wrong with my van stating I needed new lights in rear etc. All lights were fully functional. I got a second opinion cause obviously I wasn't trying to do a full engine replacement unless absolutely necessary. Now my vans fixed no rattle and running perfectly for less than 500.00 alternator was rattling due to failing bearings and had a new drive belt and belt tensioner replaced. Because the belt was older and cracking. Not only did I waste the money on the diagnostic through them but I couldn't work for an additional two wks while I was debating buying another work truck and trying to find a honest mechanic. Who could actually diagnose my vehicle properly. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE TO WORK ON YOUR VEHICLE. read more

Worst car place I've ever been to. Made an appointment for 9 am yesterday & they didn't even start looking at my car until the next day. What's the purpose of an appointment if they don't even bother to look at your car the same day of it. Also, was quoted a certain price & now it's been changed without a reason. Also, no communication whatsoever. I had to continuously call back to get information on what was going on with my car. Horrible. Magically now they need to order parts for my car without telling me first, so my car would just be sitting there yet again for more days. Not a way to conduct a business at all. I finally told them I wasn't paying a dime & I was taking my car somewhere else. Bottom line, horrible customer service, they overcharge you, & aren't timely at all. read more

THIS PLACE NEEDS 100000+ STARS!!!! I cannot say enough POSITIVE about Mike (manager) and his staff!!! My son moved 14 hours away from me to Missouri. His car had some issues, so I cold called (living in Alabama not knowing a mechanic in KC) and I happened upon his store. From the first call until the car was finished.. TOP NOTCH, professional, BEYOND FAIR, kind, informative (remember, I'm in Alabama so I'm not there to take care of things).. He was able to make sure my son was taken home (after dropping off the car) and made sure he had a ride back to the shop to pick up the vehicle. The world needs MORE people like Mike and his company in it! Anyone reading this, please do yourself a favor and USE THIS SHOP!! My daddy always told me if I find a good banker and a good mechanic, I'd be good.. I feel beyond good to have both!! If there was a negative star I would be pushing it. I took my van there with obvious brake issues and was told it was fine. After driving on hwy doing 70 I had break light go on and break fluids leaking all over after being told this problem was fine. I receive service on my Toyota regarding all new shocks and struts on 8/27/16. Here it is 7 months later and I have already had one shock replace under warranty and the rest are right behind it. Finally took the vehicle to Toyotas dealership and they say I need new shocks and struts all the way around my car again and that the ones installed are unidentifiable. $1,600 for new repair from Toyota after giving this company $1,200 in my hard-earned money. What kind of compensation do I get offered for this $500 back for part cost only...WOW!!!.... Terrible!! Steer clear! Went in for something simple we wanted fixed. They called with a 1500.00 bill of things we had no idea why they were checking or doing. They stated our brakes were bad, springs were bad, seals were bad... funny thing was husband replaced all that less than 6 months ago himself. They were trying to rip us off! We ran out of there as fast as we could. They failed our car inspection with a list of things I had never heard of even being inspected. We took it straight over to another shop who passed it with flying colors. The estimate they gave us so so over inflated it was awful. I feel so sorry for some unsuspecting person who goes in there and doesn't know anything about cars and just takes their word for everything. Had my girlfriend's car fixed there for the sum of $1100, but the neighborhood got her for more than that, her car was broken into and they stonewalled her, saying theyre not liable after they handed me the keys. I wasnt there, i wasnt given the keys, and magically they dont have security cameras. They are just like most shops and make up lies so theyre not liable, like oh we made sure we locked your car, but the alarm is tied into locking the car, and guess what, it wasnt tripped either. read more

They always have great customer service and treat each customer with respect. I called the day before and they got us in even though they were busy. As a teacher, I feel so thankful that they do inspections on Saturdays. If they didn't I would have to take off work to take my car. First off, let me say, my knowledge on cars is limited at best. I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla with 200,000 miles, I expect to have some issues with it due to its age and mileage. I had been to this location a couple times, just for an oil change and inspection, and had pretty good service, so when my car started making a horribly loud noise I assumed it was my muffler system, and brought it in to have checked out. I also needed a full set of brakes, having been told so after the inspection. They called me with the news that it was not actually my muffler, but the catalytic converter...repairing that and the brakes would cost $1,700!! Stressed to the max, I called my hometown mechanic, bless them, asked them what they would charge for replacing the converter - $700. I was sold, I had it towed the 100 miles because I didn't want to overheat the engine, which can happen if your CC is clogged...also bless AAA. My hometown mechanic called after inspecting my corolla, it wasn't the catalytic converter!!!! There was a very clear break in the muffler line. They were able to fix my muffler issue, put new brakes on the vehicle, and an oil change all for $350. Moral of the story, unless you're 100% sure on your car's diagnosis, get a 2nd opinion..OR just don't come here. read more
