He might not be the cheapest, and definitely not the most expensive, but it is reasonable and he provides fixed-pricing which he sticks to as long as scope doesn't change. He also pulls all necessary permits and has passed all inspections with flying colors. Jon has now completed two projects for us. About 6 months ago, he installed new bathroom fans in 4 bathrooms and he recently installed an Electric Vehicle charger in our garage (along with a 60 AMP breaker to support it). I received a word-of-mouth recommendation from my neighbors who had Jon perform a much larger project which included significant re-wiring of their entire house, as well as a new breaker panel among other items. Another neighbor had Jon install a bathroom fan as well as some other work. They could not say enough good things about him and they were 100% right. I have nothing but praise for his work quality. I am one of those customers that likes to do a lot of research up front before I buy items for my house. Jon was patient during my bathroom fan researching as well as my EV charger purchasing and provided me his input as-needed. They get a star for being responsive and answering the phone, which some electricians simply don't do. Beyond that, they sent over what I guess was an apprentice and another guy who didn't say much. I called twice, including the day of asking if I needed to go out and buy a plug. They said no both times. They guys came over with no equipment despite me emailing a direct picture of what was needed, and unwilling to drive 3 minutes to lowes to get it. We got charged and they left. After an email complaint they offered to send them back to change a plug without another $250 fee. Since we planned on having them actually do the job, while they were out here we asked for another small job or two (including simply changing an outside floodlight). Here comes more diagnostic fees for their "expertise"... Overall there are more experienced places out there by far, and many that will charge far far less. If you are in a pinch and need to reach someone, "no job is too small" here....

I had some plumbing work done the week before, and the holes in the ceiling had started to become an eyesore to me, and I really wanted it fixed! I called on a Tuesday, and he said he'd be able to come out a couple of days (Thursday), and get started on the repair. He arrived in a timely manner, and had everything done within a couple of hours, which I was very happy with. Hence my giving him a credit of 2 stars. However after inspecting the actual work done on the ceiling, I thought it looked very shoddy and unprofessional. There was a clear indentation of where the work was done, and it was not the seamless finish I had envisioned. I told him that I wanted the entire ceiling area to look as blended as possible when he started the job, and he had told me that he could do that for me, for $300 . That's not what I saw! He reassured me that after the paint dried, everything would somewhat blend into the ceiling, and look more even. I told him I wasn't happy with the work, and asked if he'd come back and help me complete it. He agreed that he also didn't think the job was completed to his liking, so he agreed to come out on Saturday ( he wanted the paint to be given a chance to dry) I texted him on Friday evening to remind him about Saturday, and verify a time when he would be at my house. No response.. I tried texting him on Saturday, and I texted him mid week on Wednesday..I never heard from this person again. Even after reassuring me that he would've come back. He was not courteous and professional to follow up in any manner. Complete ghosting on his part! I do not recommend his services if you are looking for a professional who'd show up and complete the job in a manner that makes the client happy, because it's not sloppy! At this point, I need to find someone else to fix his terrible, botched workmanship. The ceiling continues to be a major eyesore to me.
