Great work and I am completely satisfied…read more I got estimates from a couple of electricians for an upgrade plus misc work and most were in the same price range. Tim Venora mentioned he had done the work in the attic when he came out for the estimate so I thought I would go with someone who had worked in the house (and did good work from what saw). The crew that worked in our home were great - low key, very polite and meticulous about their work. The upgrade was fixed price and the misc work came in over estimate - higher labor, lower materials - but it did not come as a surprise to me as the team let me know when something was going to be more difficult than it looked. They also offered multiple solutions and let me choose.

I called and they were there in 20 minutes! The electrician was on the problem within seconds. I…read morewas so glad I called Venora Electric. I thought it might be a problem with the breaker as it didn't seem right, but he went right to the wall outlet in the kitchen, bingo! Venora will be tops on my go-to list! Sue Treadway, Avon Ct

He responded quickly to my…read morerequest for a quote, showed up on time, worked efficiently, and handled everything from box replacement to attic wiring and bracing without any issues. Both interior fans and two porch fans were installed cleanly, tested thoroughly, and worked perfectly with their remotes. What really stood out was the pricing -- his quote was more reasonable than every other electrician I contacted, and the quality of work was excellent. He's clearly an experienced owner‑operator who knows how to get the job done right without padding the bill or wasting time. If you want an electrician who is fair, straightforward, and does solid work, I highly recommend AC Electrical.

In my very young years I worked for an electrician during high school & college. I know enough to do my home electrical repairs, wire an addition & electrical maintenance. When I worked for an electrician, I have done several electrical service upgrades, but always as an assistant or helper. I also know when it's smart to pay a professional to do the work. Boy I am so happy that I didn't tackle this project myself!!!! This review is for an electrical service upgrade from 100 amps to 200 amps. The original installation was in 1982 on a raised ranch house. The power company meter is on the side of the house with a power cable between the meter & basement electrical panel running over the garage. This separation of the meter & electrical panel makes the service upgrade more complicated & adds to the cost. Over the last thirty-eight years one slot in my panel was damaged due to corrosion & high current from the dryer. Replacing & moving the dryer circuit beaker cost me due to limited space in the small electrical panel. Two past house additions & future air conditioning installation requires an electrical service upgrade. Not to mention that the electrical meter box on the side of the house has multiple rusted holes & is literally falling off the side of the house! I was planing this for a couple of years later, but now I felt that I needed to get this done sooner rather than later. The estimate from Brannack Electric & other electricians seemed pricy. However Tim Brannack came with two trucks & a total of four workers, including himself. Two worked on the outside electrical meter & power drop, one at the basement electrical panel and the forth running the large service cable between the meter over the garage to the basement panel. After seeing the huge effort, now I understand why my estimate seemed higher than friends service upgrades. Also the other estimates did not mention the need to replace the dryer & electric range cables to meet current electrical code. I don't think that the other electricians were going to do that work. The service upgrade included the following: New outside electrical drop. New outside meter box. New 200 amp disconnect in the garage. New 200 amp cable between the garage disconnect & basement panel. New electrical panel & circuit breakers in basement. Replace the electric range cable, due to electrical code upgrades. Replace the dryer cable, due to electrical code upgrades. Run two new ground cables due to electrical code upgrades. Run a new 30 amp future air conditioning power cable & outside disconnect box. (maybe next year, would like to install a mini split AC system) Tim Bannack & his crew worked their rear off all day. Tim punched a few large holes in the garage ceiling (after asking me) & I was later amazed at how good of a job he did patching up the sheet rock ceiling. (to a garage standard) Tim did everything that he said & his standards are high. As I have five years experience in this field, (from forty years ago) I know enough to recognize good workmanship. Tim is an older, very experienced electrician & it shows as I check in on his work throughout the day. The three "kids", in their mid twenties to mid thirties all asked me excellent questions of my old system. This mix of an older gentleman & young "kids" are a good combination to get this job done. During the electrical inspection by the town building department, the inspector checked the important points of the service upgrade & said that he has had nothing but excellent work from Tim Brannack. When the bill came, there were no surprises, everything promised was done. Tim's estimate was competitive with the other bids, however his was slightly higher, about 2%, than the others. In hindsight I thought it was fine. (don't forget, Tim did the dryer & range cables that the other electricians were skipping) I would recommend Brannack Electric to my friends & family.

Josh's estimate was very reasonable, and when compared to another estimate I got, it was a no brainer who'd get the job. Even though I ended up adding more work once they were here, the increase in expense was handled with fairness. All this work was done by two electricians each day over the course of one afternoon and one morning. Everyone (Ryan, Tyler, and Tyler) was very professional, efficient, polite, and conscientious. They answered all my questions with confidence and clear knowledge, offered suggestions when I had a choice to make, and cleaned up before leaving each day. They took notes on what needed to be done on their return after the weekend, and came prepared. I also appreciated that I got text messages alerting me of the appointment and that they were on the way, and I liked that Josh emailed me the estimate and final invoice, and secure payment was done right through the email with a simple withdrawal from my checking account. Josh was responsive in getting back to me, from requesting a quote, to follow up after the work was complete. Like most things done to help a house sale, I wish I'd gotten it done sooner so I could enjoy it longer! I'd recommend AJP for any electrical work needed.
