They have salt to give you on the way out for luck.

What a marvelous experience. Great good. Great service. Better ambiance. We have a variety of plates to share. The gnocchi was the hit but we also loved the eggplant salad. Totally will come back next time we visit.

Amazing. The tortelim and fatayer were two of the best dishes of our trip. The bish bash bouche, merquez, and laffa were all excellent as well. This is probably the best strictly-vegetarian restaurant I've ever been to.

Best meal of our trip!

Highly recommend! Without a doubt the best meal of our three week holiday. Tekes showcases how creativity can transform vegetarian cuisine into a memorable feast! For sure order the chocolate mousse! Vibrant energy and great service!

Beet carpaccio and tasty pillows of goodness.

Our table of five enjoyed a tasty vegetarian meal at Tekes, carefully curated by our server. Everything we ate was lovely but the must orders: beet carpaccio, raviolis and the fennel salad. We finished with a trio of desserts which starred the heavenly decadent chocolate olive oil sea salt mousse. We can't wait to go back. Even our non-veggie loving kid fell hard for the beets

YOU MUST GO!!!!!! Best restaurant in Paris...and honestly, my new fave restaurant period. Beautiful restaurant, but recommend sitting at bar & allowing chef to bring you his choice dishes. One was more delicious than the last. Service was exceptional. Seriously cannot express how phenomenal this restaurant is - make a reservation in advance. You will thank me! Enjoy!

Missing pictures…read more... Quality/Quantity - Just follow the line. Just look for the longest and busiest line and it will be there. Actually, there are two lines, one for take away (on the left) and one for sit down. Both lines are just as long, but the take away moves much faster. Fairly organized. For the take away side, an employee takes orders while you wait in line, to expedite the process. (If you are from CA, think of an In and Out burger drive thru business model). Overall the food is good and reasonably priced. And great advertising seeing everyone walk around with your "sandwiches." Ambiance - Crazy busy. Both inside and outside. But plenty of employees (again both inside and outside). Fairly organized considering the volume. Service - Good. Price - Reasonable.10-15 Euros for a pita sandwich. $11.60 to $17.50 US. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1978.

On first pass, there was a line at the take-out window. When I returned to dine in, there was a rather significant line there as well. My party of 2 was apparently the magic number because they had us stand in the front of the line and we were seated inside almost immediately. The food here is served so rapidly that I seriously doubt anyone needs to wait long as there's a constant turning of tables. Schwarma and Fallafel and whatever else we consumed here was so fresh, delicious, and satisfying that I tried coming back here again the night before leaving Paris. Unfortunately for me, they close early on Shabbat, so I had to be satisfied with my single visit. Outstanding experience, delicious food as over 2,000 reviews already attested to.

We tried the rotisserie chicken pita and the ratatouille one. Both were packed full of fresh ingredients. I loved the veggie one. But shoutout to the pita because it didn't collapse or get soggy from all the veggies and sauce. It held its own and was delish. Inside has some tables in back that were good but really this is a quick lunch space and a great one at that. Delish.

I want to like Miznon more than I actually do. I love the gimmick of full roasted vegetables…read morewithout any seasoning, allowing the diner to doctor to taste. The cauliflower and sweet potato are visually stunning and well-roasted, but ultimately the condiments the restaurant offers don't compensate for the neutral preparation. Even tomato sauce, hot sauce and salt together couldn't coat the cauliflower in a satisfying way. When the vegetable is cooked with the idea of its being a blank canvas, it can't be retroactively perfected. Table salt should be a garnish, not the savior of a meal. The sweet potato fares better since I could mainline that vegetable, but if a roast sweet potato is that good without any seasoning, there's no reason to pay a restaurant premium for one. I am not trying to denigrate the concept of Miznon, because to do so would be to miss the point, but I would argue that I only ever need to experience Miznon once for novelty and then can move on to genuine meals at restaurants that justify the cost of dining out.

I suspect the waitress dropped the knife as she was passing behind my back. She was non-apologetic and extremely aggressive and rude. Arguing that she did not know where the knife was coming from?! This should not have been her first reaction. I have to assume that somehow she lost the knife from a plate. She kept arguing with me when I pointed out that she should have shown some concerns and simply apologize. She initially did not. Eventually she came to her senses and finally somehow gave a fake apology. We left the premises without eating anything. The atmosphere was dark and kind of depressed. I have to assume that the owner must have been away. Quand le chat n'est pas la, les Souris dansent.

The downstairs is two tiny high tops for two and one that might fit three plus a few tables out front. I mention that so when you go, not to expect a sit down experience. The food was nothing that other places don't make, but was so good. I had a simple shawarma wrap and a side of baba ghanoush. Both were excellent. The shwarma was beef and lamb, which I ordered with the Toum and hot sauce, as well as the standard onions, pickled veggies, and tomatoes, and it was small. But every bite was perfect! I don't know why or how, but the little wrap could have been the best thing I ate the entire trip, and believe me when I say that I ate a lot. I have eaten shwarma and/ or kebabs from dozens of places in dozens of cities and I can't say that I have had better. I ate great shwarma at Taza on Queensway and throughout London in the 90s, but bite for bite, this was as good or better. I hope my glowing review doesn't set the bar impossibly high, because it's the simplicity that makes this little sandwich so good. It's also in a fun and vibrant neighborhood near the Pompidou Center, so I would highly recommend this for lunch or even a hearty snack for someone who may be walking all day.
