If you need to go to a sit down restaurant, you must go here! Best Lebanese food I've had! Get the mixed array of food and it will be more than enough to have leftovers. My significant other and I had a fabulous time with one of the best dinners. The server was friendly and fun. He was quirky and had great jokes. The owner even gave us free baklava to go home when we were stuff and didn't have room for dessert. The restaurant itself was elegant and a wonderful date night. You must come here if you want authentic, delicious Arabic food. As a middle eastern person I am very picky with my Arabic food. This place exceeded my expectations. The food was great. The service was a bit slow but it was a busy Saturday night and they were very busy. It was crowded which I was ok with.

My husband and I went to Assanabel in the 10th Arrondissement in Paris on a Sunday night without a reservation and they graciously accommodated us, which we were very thankful for as many restaurants are closed on Sunday. The wait staff was down to two for the evening and they were successfully working the room, running from table to table to serve the now fully packed restaurant, never losing their sense of humor. The food was amazing and plentiful and we realized we had ordered more food than we could possibly consume. Needing something fulfilling yet tasty and reasonably priced near la republique we tried here. So good, so friendly, so tasty, so wanted to return but schedule couldn't let us. We went with the house hummus and triple meat plate plus tea and cake afterward. All wasn't strong or oily like done at similar places. In fact it's the slight understatement of the food that made us like it so much. My two year old son was loved there. The waiter and owners helped him great customers and check out the kitchen. Delicious, fresh, high-quality, well-seasoned Lebanese food. They have a very large menu, appropriate for vegetarians too. The tabouli was full of parsley, tomato, lemon, olive oil, with very little bulgar - just the way I like it. Even my partner (not a fan of salad) loved it. Beef kefta was cooked perfectly, not overdone which is hard to do. Hummus was smooth and creamy. The service was prompt and very friendly. Don't hesitate, just go here. We were so full from the appetizers and they insisted on offering us a delicious fruit plate for free. The same happened to the table next to us, they insisted on the clients to go back to their table to get the fruit plate. Saturday night, Paris. We booked online (hint: don't-call instead). We turned up and our reservation wasn't received. They were fully booked. After some painful searching of the list we were informed it wasn't possible, but asked to wait as the owner was shortly arriving. Indeed he saw us with our two young kids and the hour getting late, they literally rearranged the furniture to squeeze in a table for us! We then proceeded to enjoy a superb Lebanese meal (order the meze to share and try everything. Dips, salads and savory pastries all delicious. Adequate wine list and a spread of middle eastern desserts. Most of all the friendly service.
