Made a yelp account just to review this place. La Travesía is wonderful gem of a restaurant in a beautiful location, and here I had by far my favorite meal in all of Paris. The owner, Adam, was kind and personable; he explained every menu item to me and my friends and personally translated the French to English, and helped recommend our meals. I ordered the falafel plate which came with falafel, a yogurt sauce, tabouleh, baba ganoush, hummus, and some housemade pickled vegetables, all of which were superb. The falafel and hummus were easily the best I've had in my life, and every component of the dish complemented one another perfectly. Adam was so lovely and the dedication and passion he has for his restaurant was apparent from the way he talked about it, as well as the quality of the food itself and the atmosphere inside. The original art pieces and fixtures in the restaurant Adam brought from Barcelona are so unique and really cement the quaint charm of the restaurant. The menu has so many interesting dishes for such little $ considering the quality of this place, can't wait to come back and try more. read more
