We were extending a bookcase and needed a remnant to try and match the countertop. We didn't need an exact match but something close enough. We stopped in and were able to check some of the remnants they had outside and as luck would have it, we found a piece almost identical to our original countertop. I contacted the business and James came out and we discussed the project. Later, he came out to see the project and another person came out to take the measurements. Throughout the entire process they were very easy to work with. EGW was very quick to have the pieces ready and were very accommodating waiting on the cabinet makers to finish their part of the job. Once the lower parts of the cabinets were installed, the people from EGW were at my house within a day or two to install. The installation was quick. The people who do the installation are very professional and clean. The bookshelves after the countertops and unless you look very closely, you cannot tell the difference from the remnant pieces and the original countertop. The are efficient, professional and reasonably priced. The other company I used was good but the people at Emerald Granite Works seem to care more about their work than the other business I used. We have other projects and will for sure use them again. Can't recommend them enough for any of your granite, countertop or tile needs.

We had a wonderful experience working with Lisa and James and the team at Emerald Design Showroom…read moreduring our recent kitchen remodel. From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. My wife and I have built and remodeled more than a few homes in the last 40 years all around the country, and this company and their team are without a doubt amongst the best design and fabrication companies we have ever dealt with. Their attention to detail and customer care truly set them apart. We found a stunning marble slab at Architectural Surfaces, and the Emerald team helped us make the most of it by incorporating it into both our kitchen and guest powder room countertops. Everything turned out beautifully. One of the interesting highlights was being involved in the CAD drawing process--James made sure we had a say in how the veining was laid out, and the final result was exactly what we had envisioned. We couldn't be happier and would absolutely recommend without reservation anyone looking for an exceptional design and outcome to work with Lisa and the Emerald team.

I am also so happy they referred us to Edgar and his crew, who did all the installation plus handled pick up and delivery to our home. Edgar was so fast to come out and gave a very reasonable bid for the installation work. He and his crew were flexible on timing, respectful of our home, and did a beautiful job with installation. We would absolutely recommend Edgar and hope to work with him and The Tile Guy again.

Kinda…read morestrange because I would think a slab was already paid for & the remnant was leftover, so why be greedy on the remnant price. The real kicker is their outrageous fabrication & installation price. Most places I searched, the price of the material, fabrication & install was less than their fabrication & installation price. But you can purchase the remnant & have a fabricator pick up the piece. They have two locations with remnants. The second, a smaller selection I was told (with a different name) is very slow to respond, if they respond at all. So, I'm not sure what to expect for service for anything else.

I called her several times asking for different options (installing over existing 27 yr old wood flooring, tearing out wood flooring, and dustless option) and each time she sent out revised estimate via email. We decided to proceed and after ordering materials gave us a date for early Sept. A crew, headed up by Uriel, arrived first day at 8:30 AM and worked till 6PM. Highest work ethic I've seen/experienced in a long time! Ripped out old wood flooring and perfect install from Tues-Thurs. Christian had follow up carpet stretch in 2 rooms meeting new flooring, and painters next day to paint shoe molding and job completed by Sat.AM. Never saw any of workers looking at their cell phones while working!!! Beautiful job from start to finish and highly recommend!

BLG was recommended by my cabinet maker - and I totally see why!…read more I was lost in the decision making process and decided to stop by one day to check out the stone they had, although I was pretty much set on a Stratus quartz at this point. I met with Abbie and she was soo unbelievably kind, helpful and patient with me. She spent so much time reviewing options and pointed out that there were natural stones that were at a similar price point. (At the end of our meeting, she said "I know you're going to get a natural stone!") She gave me some stone yards to go look and she was right - I fell in love with a stone and it is my favorite part of my entire remodel. I can seriously look at it for hours. Once I picked the stone, Amanda scheduled an appointment to determine the layout of the slabs. She knocked it out of the park! I can't believe how beautifully they fit together. She also said I had quite a bit of stone left and suggested that I use it on another vanity. So glad she did because I love my stone and it made the prefab vanity look way better! When the cabinets were in, Chad came to do the measurements to begin fabrication. They stick to their schedules and I appreciate it so much! Install went great and I am so happy with the final product. Key Points: 1.) Great people that you are happy to give your business to. 2.) Transparent pricing. It was also lower than the other quotes I got. 3.) BLG also had a great selection of remnants at a great price. I got a beautiful marble for my primary bath that I also love! They had so many options! 4.) Their communication is prompt and top notch. 5.) Their ability to determine lay-outs, book match and deliver! 6.) What makes this place special is that the entire team at BLG is great. Seriously, all of them. From the owners to people that greet you at the front desk to the fabricators and installers - all kind and professional! 7.) Oh and they also have some quartz for purchase by the SF, instead of buying the entire slab. Thank you so much, BLG!
