The pro shop looked well stocked with golf clothes, footwear, accessories. I'm sure there were golf clubs (I didn't really look, but I'm pretty sure I saw some bags). Lastly, they have strict dress code- both at the course and at the range- no denim, no t-shirt's, no sweats. Didn't know this prior to coming here.

Then I also noticed there were blinds to block out the sun on that too! The bed was so comfy. The blanket was so warm and seemed like down feather. They gave us two complimentary glass bottles of Martinelli's apple cider. Amenities: -Fitness center. I was here at night, so it was very dark. I only saw one small room with cardio equipment. No weights. -Spa. There was no water dispenser and no hair dryer. In the women's locker room, there were lockers, one shower, new bathrobes, one pair of slippers (that we saw), and fresh towels. The steam room was small but could fit at 4-5 people. -Pool. The pool is heated. I wish they had a jacuzzi! -Golf. I think they had a 9-hole course on the property, but I did not partake in this. -Golf shop/Golf club. This is a 10 minute walk from the lodge. You can rent and purchase equipment here. -Tennis/pickleball. Equipment is free to borrow. No shade for the pickleball court. One tennis court is covered in shade by itself. Not sure about lighting. No wind guards. -Restaurants. See website for hours. When I checked out around 11-12PM, the restaurant was closed.

I'm a mom who works a lot, and being able to slow down, be fully present and make memories with my kids meant so much. My daughter is still talking about how much she loves the Ranch and how she can't wait to go back. The people made the trip. Simon with Bee-Lieve in Fairies, Bailey with beekeeping, and Salvador with Little Ranchers all deserve a huge thank-you. Both kids got to participate, explore and enjoy themselves. Cyrus, Nathalie and Isabelle in the Activities Department even put together an off-road experience for my truck-loving son, who is still too young for many activities. That thoughtfulness meant so much. The restaurant staff were amazing: getting the kids fed first, always friendly and always ready to help. The Biologique Recherche facial was the best I've ever had. And Kate at the spa front desk put together a little facial kit for my daughter, who had serious FOMO! Everything we needed was right on property, including kids' food, pouches and a kids' pool. It felt genuinely welcoming to children without feeling entirely centered around them, with plenty of places and experiences for adults to enjoy too. We could feel that the staff genuinely cared about making our time special and making our kids feel special, too. They seemed to enjoy creating those moments just as much as we enjoyed experiencing them. It never felt like they were simply doing their job; their warmth and enthusiasm were genuine. We came home with wonderful memories and a daughter already planning our return. 10,000/10. We will be back.

Globalist benefit: Complimentary breakfast at Valley Kitchen, Market or in-suite dining ($50/pp, excluding service charge and delivery fee). They were quite generous with what was included. Initially, we reserved a St. Lucia room, but were upgraded to a 1-King suite, which is great when traveling with kids! Room itself was clean, but there are an excessive number of light switches throughout. Both the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. You also get two complimentary drinks to use during your stay. Some great munchkin perks: Nina travel cot, white noise and night light, diaper pail, and you can even get a stroller to use. There's a shuttle service that takes you around the property and we typically didn't wait more than 5-10minutes after texting the hotel. Hilltop Meet and Greet: Able to get up and close to goats, sheep's, donkeys and mini horses. It was a lot of fun, but not ideal on super hot days. Make sure to wear closed toe shoes if you want to go into pens to avoid stepping in poop. Garden Meet and Greet: Was able to feed some chickens, and try some of the fruit that were growing nearby. Note: PRIVATE CLUB…read more This is, no questions asked, my favorite golf course of all time. It's not simply for the course, but for the other amenities. While I'm not a member here, I'm lucky enough to have friends who are. You must own a home or lot here in order to join the country club, which makes it that much harder to become a member. From the moment you drive up to the clubhouse, it's like magic. There are a team of people to take your clubs, take your car and get you anything you want. Upon arrival, I jokingly responded to the standard "Is there anything I can get you?" with a request for a double mocha and some scones. Five minutes later while walking up to the driving range, a young man showed up with, you guessed it, a double mocha and two freshly baked scones. The course will eat you alive, period. It's a whopping 143 slope from the back tees. The course is a little quirky, similar to Tehama, simply because it was cut into the hills of a rancho. However, it is much more straightforward than Tehama and despite the difficulty, a much more enjoyable trek. The 18th hole has one of the most IN-SANE forced carries I've ever seen in my life. While we were playing the Gold tees, you need to at least walk up to the Black tees to see the almost incomprehensible drive needed to make the fairway. Needless to say, I ended up taking a drop as my drive failed to clear the huge canyon. Beg, borrow or steal to play this course at least once in your life. I can't begin to say how fortunate I feel to have played here, and I'm looking forward to coming back. During an entire 18-hole round, we saw one other golfer. Not another foursome, just one lone golfer. We stopped for lunch at the 12th hole for 30 minutes, and no one came up behind us. Have drinks on the patio after your round and enjoy the beautiful surroundings to cap off an incredible experience before driving back home to reality.

When registration emails are sent out in early January, don't hesitate to purchase your tickets to secure your credentials. It isn't inexpensive, as tickets for the 2026 event are $1,600 per person. Miss that window, and you may find yourself on a waitlist. If you're fortunate enough to obtain tickets, you'll have the option of receiving e-tickets. I passed on that and opted to have my credentials mailed instead. They arrive in a beautifully presented Quail box complete with an entry wristlet and parking pass, making for a wonderful keepsake from the event. Next, choose an outfit that's both classy and comfortable, slip on sensible shoes, grab your favorite luxury handbag, and you're off to The Quail! The last couple of years we've attended, the weather had been absolutely perfect. That said, mornings can be cool, so pack a light sweater and perhaps a hat. Think of it as an elegant garden party. You'll spend most of the day walking across grass and paved pathways, so stiletto heels aren't the best choice, unless you're determined to be uncomfortable while aerating the golf course. Pro Tip: Arrive early. This is, after all, Monterey Car Week. Tens of thousands of enthusiasts and extraordinary automobiles from around the world descend upon the Monterey Peninsula during the week, creating traffic that local roads were never designed to handle. Giving yourself extra time will minimize stress and maximize your enjoyment once you're inside. Since we weren't displaying a car, our credentials included general parking. However, driving a Ferrari apparently comes with a few unofficial perks. As we entered the lot, the parking attendant waved us over and directed us to park alongside a collection of other supercars surrounding a grassy knoll. Once inside, procure your glass of champagne and don't forget to snap a photo in front of the iconic Quail monument sign featuring the event organizers, The Peninsula Signature Events. As we wandered through the beautifully manicured grounds, admiring the marque displays, we naturally made our first stop at the oyster stand. What better way to begin the day than with champagne and freshly shucked oysters? Scattered throughout the venue are numerous gourmet food pavilions serving an incredible variety of cuisines, accompanied by equally impressive wines, spirits, and cocktails. My advice? Don't stop at the very first pavilion you encounter. With so many outstanding options available, you'll want to pace yourself. Study the event map beforehand, note the vendors that interest you most, and plan your culinary adventure accordingly. The Quail is also one of our favorite places to reconnect with friends, both fellow racers and automotive enthusiasts. It's not uncommon to find yourself mingling with motorsport executives and industry leaders while discovering the latest innovations in the automotive world. Two years ago, we had the pleasure of meeting Christian von Koenigsegg, founder of Koenigsegg Automotive AB. This past year, we met David Lee, whose legendary Ferrari collection includes the famous "ketchup, mustard, and relish" trio. If you know, you know. Monterey Car Week also features several world-class collector car auctions. At The Quail, Broad Arrow Auctions showcases approximately 175 of the world's most desirable collector cars. Even if you're not in the market to buy, browsing the consignments is an attraction all on its own. I hope everyone has the opportunity to experience The Quail at least once. It certainly helps if you love exceptional food, fine champagne, remarkable automobiles, and unforgettable experiences--which, fortunately for us, we absolutely do.

I sat out there with a glass of wine and my book for a bit for a little quiet time. There is a firepit just around the corner from Room 101 so that was nice to sit at while enjoying a little nightcap. Apparently, they will give you a s'mores kit... I did not partake on this trip. To be frank, I was too lazy to walk to the front (a whole 2 minutes) to go up to the desk to ask. But next time... I fully plan to get a s'mores kit. haha! Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed, sheets and bedding were very comfortable and I slept great. This is unusual for me as I don't normally sleep very well in 'strange' beds. We only ate at Covey Grill once and it was very good. The convenience of having a nice restaurant on property is a major plus.

They had a limited amount of clothing options to choose from, they all seem seasonal but one jacket caught my eye. Their "Members Hoodie" and I ended up going with this zip up hoodie. Although it's a bit expensive it is a pretty hyped up brand for street wear and golfers. I'm also a big believer that golf translates close to pickleball (which I play) so the style matches well. The store is really small but they have another section of the store in the back courtyard with even more Malbon gear. Although limited you might find something you like. The employee was also super friendly and checked up on us a lot so I was super happy about that.

We golfed at Pebble Beach (bucket list) one day and Spyglass the second day (another bucket list item). The golf was picture perfect, the 18th hole on Pebble right along the ocean, drives to remember for a lifetime. Both courses were beautiful and everything was first class all the way. You are assigned a caddy, just like the pros, really fun. I think these guys make more than doctors, big dollars fall into their hands, but they make it enjoyable and fun. This is the kind of trip you dream about and it did not disappoint. The restaurants were 5 stars, ribeyes/steaks and seafood every night, even the breakfast spot we went to in the morning was amazing, cinnamon rolls the size of dinner plates. The Hotel had a gym that was better than many gyms you pay a membership for, new, huge, great equipment, great views. A spa with a steam room, locker room and showers, wood lockers, old money style, Just the way you picture it when living it up. Every dream sports car/luxury car parked in front of the hotel. My four stars is not anything to do with the experience, I would not trade it for the World and am very, very grateful for the opportunity to experience it. The golf, the hotel, the service, the restaurants, etc. first class all the way. Where I struggle a bit is just the excess here and the expense of a trip like this, I would have never spent this kind of money if it was not connected to building a Business relationship.
