I just tried Teezys Culinary Creations in Yuma -- aka the spot with the best cheesecake in the world. First bite, and I swear the crust broke like ancient ruins but still stayed together. It's like it defied science, logic, and the word "diet." Smooth, creamy, not too sweet -- just straight perfection. Whoever made this is an evil genius. God spent extra time on this man. It still was a pleasant experience, the Oreo cheesecake was delicious and the hospitality was great. The owner was kind hearted and we even help save some kittens. In LA, there is a ton of spots to go for dessert and I've been to a lot of them in my 30 years of life and I can honestly say that Teezys is a one of a kind spot. Teezy or Tyler is always welcoming and hard-working. As soon as you walk in and you see the glass fridge full of cheesecake, you know you're in for some tough life decisions lol you either have to choose one flavor or just go for broke and want to buy all of them. He has over 1000 flavors. I've barely tried maybe 15 and I can honestly say there isn't one that's bad, then there are some that absolutely get you addicted. Recently my wife suggested go and grab some cheesecake. At first I was like 'cheesecake in Yuma?' Then she mentioned Teesys, an eatery she's been following on Instagram for a hot minute, supposedly the cheesecake is something else. Cool beans; I'm up for the challenge! We arrive at this small but cozy mini-shop and social distance ourselves in the line formed near the doorway. I tried to' Check In' on Yelp but couldn't because it's not in the system...yet. Maybe I can help with that...! Tyler Power the owner was behind the counter to take our order and any questions we have. The shop set up looks to be pickup only, and I understand they sell more than cheesecake as well. The cheesecake's behind the glass look very inviting; huge slices varied in flavors. We picked 5; Choco Mint Cookies, Pistachio, Cinna Roll Stuffed, Strawberry and I picked the Apple Pie Inside. I found it lighter than I imagined;more fuller in flavor with a stable crust base and delicious toppings and fruit. The containers look to be good for future use and/or ideal for food prep too...a good deal all around. Tyler said the shop has been slowly getting attention by word-of-mouth and some social media . I told him I can definitely help spreading the love on Yelp! The cheesecake slices are a little steep in price (cash only), but paying extra for high quality product is never a bad thing. I can see return trips to try out other menu items in the near future. Do yourself a big favor and consider having a go at it here...try it, you'll probably like it! read more
