Two: They carry a nice selection of "Dead Pawn" (aka " old pawn") Native American jewelry. Old pawn pieces can be less appealing or even a bit scary to shop for if you are new to Native American jewelry, or if you are looking for modern styling or highly polished pieces. However, while you will find all manner or recognizable styles in old pawn, you just may find one of a kind pieces too. That's the type I like. Another thing about shopping old pawn is that vendors are usually more open to accepting offers. A very nice couple operate this store. Although you will see a sign with the Ortega name at the Galloping Goose just a few shops away, they are not the same owners - they are cousins. Ortega's has been here a while and it surprised me that I had to submit a YELP listing. This is definitely a shop worth visiting.

They are an American First store so most everything is made in the great ol USA. There are a few little things such as trinkets that might be imported but very very limited. Prices are not like a Walmart or any other discount store do be a bit prepared to spend a few more bucks and get real USA products. I have absolutely no issue ordering problem spending a few bucks more for a product made in the US by US employees. Accessibility is not impossible with a wheelchair or any other mobility device that you might use but there's not a large of open space in between items but still open enough to pass through fine. Restroom wasn't something I checked but I'm sure that it's accessible for disabled individuals. Staff are outstanding. They're ready to help you out in finding things that you perhaps missed and would like to know if ir of what your looking for. If you can't find anything but have an idea they might be able to special order it for you. Or they might have it in stock at their Phoenix location. As I can show you in just a few pics, items they have to look through but note that I wasn't able to add a lot of pics to this review. So many more items are for the taking. As far as ratings go, I'm a rather conservative at ratings and so very very few shops/stores get a 5 star. This business is deserving just that. So head in and take your time looking at everything they offer. You'll be surprised at what all they offer.

A couple of the stores sell most mostly locals wares and clothing. It has an elevator in the event you can't walk up the stairs. There is a restaurant also located inside the facility. I believe it's a new restaurant from the last time I was in town. It looks really nice. I'm not sure if they're open for lunch, but I'm certain they're open for dinner. There's a wide variety of different types of shops, including art, knickknacks, etc., but higher quality knickknacks not souvenir type stuff. All staff I've met at the stores have been very personable. I stopped by every time I'm in town to see what new things they have.!

The shop is located right in the town square area which is very convenient. There's street parking all around the area. They do have a wide selection - from baseball caps to sun hats, and silly ones too. We got 2 sunsets and one had SPF. They also had big head hat options which was very much appreciated. The lady working there seemed very knowledgeable about hats. Unfortunately it did take a while to check out the people ahead of us as things were a bit slow moving in here. That being said, we were taken care of and she made sure that our hats fit when it was our turn. If you choose to pay with a credit card here, you will be charged the credit card fee.
