We recently moved into our new house and gradually learned that we were not getting water from our…read morehot water heater into our furnace-installed humidifier properly. It's been very dry! Especially through the winter. I replaced the control module in hopes it would fix, but still no water flow. After countless manual pumps of a spray bottle to the new filter, I called Hometown and Tim answered right away. Corresponding conveniently through text from there on, he came out to do an assessment and provided a very reasonable quote for a faulty valve, which also happens to be out of code and should never have been used for the purpose. He was able to come out again same day, but I was unavailable, so he came again the very next morning and cut and replaced the piping within 10 minutes, showing me what was done and I am thrilled that the water is now flowing seamlessly. A musician himself, we shared some good chatter about shared interests. All in all, great friendly guy who identified the issue and got the problem fixed quickly. What's not to love about that?
