Especially through the winter. I replaced the control module in hopes it would fix, but still no water flow. After countless manual pumps of a spray bottle to the new filter, I called Hometown and Tim answered right away. Corresponding conveniently through text from there on, he came out to do an assessment and provided a very reasonable quote for a faulty valve, which also happens to be out of code and should never have been used for the purpose. He was able to come out again same day, but I was unavailable, so he came again the very next morning and cut and replaced the piping within 10 minutes, showing me what was done and I am thrilled that the water is now flowing seamlessly. A musician himself, we shared some good chatter about shared interests. All in all, great friendly guy who identified the issue and got the problem fixed quickly. What's not to love about that? A mouse had entered the outdoors portion of the unit and chewed through a wire (and the dead mouse was in the unit). They made the repair, cleaned up the unit and were done in about 30 minutes. As it turned out, the drain was plugged up, but during the evaluation of the washer, Mr. Keeter broke the panel on her Whirlpool duet washer. He promised to order a replacement. It has been more than a year, and I continue to call him for an update. Today, his assistant told me that he and all of his friends have either been in the hospital or died in the last year. He did promise to have Mr. Keeter call me back today. I will see.
