Best crepes I've ever had and I come from a french family. 10 times better than what grandma used to make. Its definitely worth the trip to the mall just to eat here, and the owner is very talented and kind.

The mix berry crepe I had was delicious! Who would expect to find a perfect dessert place hiding in the corner of a mall?

I was overjoyed that we would be getting a pie shop in the neighborhood. Besides cookies and cakes,…read moreI have an affinity towards pie. Opened for about a month (I'm posting this late), this take-out shop served pie slices, free for teachers the day of my visit. There were pie slices on the counter already packaged and ready to go. Against the wall, there were refrigerated cases filled with frozen meat pies and soups. I need to return for both of these. I picked up a variety of slices: Chocolate cream pie - I liked the pudding consistency of the chocolate cream pie and the generous amount of chocolate shavings. Cannoli pie - Do you recall the filling of a cannoli? That's what's in the cannoli pie: vanilla pastry cream/ cream cheese mixture with chocolate chips and slivered almond slices mixed in. I love cannolis, but I did not enjoy the pie version as much. Dutch apple pie - This was my favorite pie. I loved the firm apple slices topped with streusel. The top crust was lovely. Lemon bars - Both sweet- and tart-tasting lemon curd is paired with a cookie crust, these lemon bars were excellent. Lemon blueberry hand pie - This was also my favorite pie (yes, another favorite). I loved the thin, tender pastry filled with blueberry filling. So good. Incidentally, the crusts on the other pies were fine, but not great, except for the hand pie. Service was lovely. The staffer responded to all my questions warmly and knowledgeably. I had expected more of a sit-down restaurant like Grand Traverse Pie Company but I am fine with this very different store format.

Stopped here while I was at dinner. Wanted a good dessert and this was perfect…read more The ambiance of this establishment is pretty much grab and go. They do have a few seats inside, but not a dine-in type of place. But it was really clean inside. The lady at the counter greeted us upon entering and let us know she was grabbing the order of a previous customer and would be with us soon. She was nice and courteous. Per the usual, the cobblers were great! Definitely a place to go for a quick and delicious dessert!

A dessert shop that specializes in cobblers? I never imagined such an operation would open this far…read morenorth. Peach Cobbler Factory has been in business for about a year now in this western suburban Detroit strip mall where parking is never an issue. The inside of the suite was bright and spacious, however there were no seats or tables. Maybe they used to have some stools and high-tops in the past? A faux green wall was on the right, but it seemed out of sorts when nearly all places with such a social media friendly feature also have seating. There were over a dozen cobbler flavors, and each order included ice cream. The surprise was the variety of other desserts that were available. Cinnamon rolls, cookies, banana pudding, pudding shakes, brownies, Belgian waffles, and churro stix were offered. Some of these items were on display in plastic cases at the service counter. By using such a specific business name, it undersold the diversity of sweet treats that you could purchase here. A Mango Peach Cobbler was what I decided to buy. Because everything was packaged to go, the cobbler was served in one takeout container while the cinnamon vanilla ice cream was scooped into its own styrofoam cup. A cobbler is a fruit filling poured into a large baking dish that is covered with a batter/crust before being baked in an oven. It's essentially like a deep dish pie. I didn't detect much mango flavor, but the peaches were very sweet. I wished the cobbler portion size was larger for the $9 price. The ice cream was a nice touch if you wanted to eat the cobbler a la mode.

I've gone to the market more than a few times but finally was able to visit for lunch one day…read morerecently and the restaurant experience was great! It was a bit busy, a beautiful Saturday afternoon, but we didn't have trouble getting a table. Everything on the menu sounded good but in the end we split an order of the grilled calamari to start and I went with the elicoidali boscaiola for my entree. The calamari was very good. Quite heavy on the citrus but I really liked the grilled zucchini and marinated beans that came with. I actually wish we had a little more of the zucchini though. The elicoidali boscaiola was delicious though quite rich. It's house-made elicoidali pasta in a white wine cream sauce with pancetta, shallots, garlic, mixed mushrooms, peas, chicken, and pamigiano. The portion was also huge, especially for lunch, and came out piping hot. I had more than enough for leftovers to take home (which reheated pretty good, even though cream sauces don't always live up to a second meal, I definitely had some separation with the butter but it still tasted great). At $27 for the entree it was pricey for lunch but considering I got two hearty meals out of it I won't complain!

They have that smell/taste! Not just one kind but each one of the ones I purchased. I hope this is just a fluke and also I heated the donut in the microwave because it was a bit hard, like it wasn't freshly made. I thought the donuts were made fresh every day. Also the nice lady with the dark hair had a runny nose. She wiped her nose a couple times and didn't wash her hands. I watched as she filled my order to make sure the drop on the end of her nose didn't drip into my donuts. I think when this happens the employee should wear a mask. She was coughing into her lower arm and I just wanted to walk out at one point. I am hopeful things will not be like today and may try it again but not sure. Super bummed.
