We went in tonight and were pleasantly surprised to find a table on the rooftop patio. Within minutes it started sprinkling. Our waitress immediately offered to let us move to a table with an umbrella. Nachos come out. It starts pouring. Our waitress immediately asks if we want to move and/or cash out. So appreciate how friendly, attentive, and flexible she was. I wish I'd gotten her name. We ended up cashing out and heading inside. Nachos weren't just big but excellent. I was pleasantly surprised to find they will do NA frozen drinks. I already knew they have a great NA beer (segars something or other) and of course lots of specials on "regular" drinks. The bartender passed by me no less than a dozen times, never stopping once to check in. She busied herself with socializing with the locals at the tables, but couldn't offer a simple check in to see if I liked my food or needed anything else. Before that, my tip was going to be 30%, which is standard. By the time I left, it dropped down to just under 20%. She was not even deserving of that, but I am a decent guy. As I walked out, I expected a parting greeting from the bartender who was at another table. Nothing. As I passed by the host, I expected another greeting. Nothing. Overall, the drink was OK but came across as a tad too sweet and again lacking the agave notes and the punch I look for in a good margarita. To be fair, there is an upgraded margarita on the menu, which may very well have been more to my liking, but in this instance I opted to go with the house Margarita to save a little money. Relative to staff and facility, the restaurant itself has a lot of ambiance to offer with colorful Mexican decor and a central visually appealing bar at the heart of the restaurant. Plenty of tables with both inside and outing dining area's which is definately a consideration on days with nice weather. The facility definitely adds a lot to the overall dining experience.
