This venture is a real feature of Sutton shopping, whistling down the years like the smells wafting through the streets. It's just not the same trip without Ted's.
Thankfully, the business doesn't play on the longevity to the point where it charges what it wants, not what the food is worth. The cost is far from prohibitive and provides real value for not an awful lot of money. That's what you want from an enterprise with its feet well under the town's table.
The topping choice isn't exhaustive, but who needs needlessly creative combos? It's pretty much the old cheese, beans and chilli set-up because you can't improve on classics. What shoppers can improve upon is giving their cash to international brands when this local trader is on their doorstep with a more healthy and filling product. read more
