Having lived in Leicestershire for many years I've found you rarely get a bad Indian meal, some are better than others and at the spice cube you will get one of the best. Being limited in space it is best to book in advance, although we did turn up once on a Saturday evening and they squeezed us in, as long as we were quick, well we had come from France! Bear in mind there is no alcohol served here, but it's no problem to take your own, they will even supply you with a glass. A visit here is always on our list when we return to the area to visit family.

The restaurant is larger than you first think as it extends on two floors into the back, but its always advisable to book as its full most evenings (weekends at least). The first time i visited i ordered the Thali which comes as a 3 course meal (which a thali main) and then on my second visit i ordered one of the richest most delicious indian lamb dishes i've ever had. You cant go wrong as every dish on offer is delicious! The only difficulty we had was understanding the layout of the menu.
