In the two years that it's been in AV, I've never realized it until searching for an ice cream spot that was 1.) local and 2.) actually open this time of year AND in the evening. Ample parking makes it easy in/ easy out. The decor inside is adorable, not to mention the yummy smells from the popcorn. They have such a wide variety of gourmet popcorn to choose from, it was almost difficult to pick just 1 flavor! I ended up deciding on the Blueberry Pecan. The boys that were working there were incredibly nice. They even let me sample the caramel corn which was delicious! I couldn't help but get some ice cream too. I decided on 3 scoops which included Monster cookie, Maple Bourbon Nut, and Praline Caramel. Although it's "just Kemps" ice cream it was delicious and honestly much better than some other former ice cream spots I've been too. The customer service was wonderful as well. The boys working were very nice, efficient and held great conversation. I also appreciated how clean and tidy the store was. Definitely a hidden gem in a great location in AV. I'll be a regular customer here after this first visit, and encourage you to stop in here for a scoop (or 2 or 3 lol) of ice cream and some gourmet popcorn!

Such a cute mom-and-pop shop in the cutest area of Hastings. The woman helping me was the absolute sweetest (possibly the owner?). She let me know this year they are celebrating 5 years....
