Service was so friendly and helpful and I love supporting a business with such a wonderful mission. It's so cute inside, too with those popcorn lights. The owner said they hope to be online soon, so that will be great for ordering in between visits. They carry a line of soda pop from Northern Soda Company so we grabbed a few of those for a taste test later. Our favorite was the pontoon punch.

He told me they have been open since February and they are.a non-profit with a mission to hire folks with developmental disabilities. The owner's son has autism and that inspired him to create a place where people with disabilities could work. His son has his own line of pop products in the store. I grabbed a root beer and - I am very picky about my root beers - it was absolutely delicious. They have seasonal popcorn flavors as well as their regulars. You can get tubs, bags, or cups. You can also grab some cool merch while you're there! I got a tub of caramel popcorn, which was gone in an embarrassingly short amount of time. The tub was $10. I also got a limited time flavor, jalapeño cheddar. It wasn't my favorite because it was very cheesy and I don't like a lot of cheese on my popcorn. But if you do - definitely for you! I also got a T-shirt because their logo is awesome and I love that they are a nonprofit. I was the only person in here for the entire time I was there (30-45mins). They have tables and chairs to sit at, a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff are so friendly. I'd definitely recommend for your next movie night or a little snack with a friend.

Pricing was a bit steeper than I anticipated, but so is everything these days. Fortunately I had a bit of cash in my wallet from a recent trip. I ate half a bag in the car before heading home. My wife found the second bag and didn't leave any for me. So, I think the taste was more than satisfactory (perhaps a bit addictive?).

The truffles were also so huge I had a hard time finishing one, and I very much have a sweet tooth! My husband was shocked I couldn't polish one off. I also had a hard time really picking out the flavors that they described in the truffle descriptions. It just felt like a plain ol' chocolate center. They were good and beautiful but not particularly remarkable flavorwise to me. For gifts, however, this place is stunning. A box of truffles is beautifully packaged and look even more lovely. Their goodies also make a great small snack while traveling. Just not sure I'd splurge on so many of them for myself again in the future.

Soga Mochi Donut in St. Paul makes them fresh to order and I swear having them hot will change you forever! They're still good, and we liked the cinnamon sugar and pistachio toppings we tried. Inside, the decor is cute but you can tell it's been ridden hard by UMN students. Not a deal-breaker, but there are other locations you can visit if you don't want to fight for a parking spot during school season.

They are not easy to find these days, but I grew up loving them and I love them as much now. Regina's has been around since 1926, so they are celebrating 100 years in business. They make their own candy, as well as sell imported candy. They have two stores, the one I visited in St. Paul on St. Claire Avenue and one in West St. Paul. You can also order candy online. This little store is a gem and frankly, I'm grateful that I do not live anywhere near either store, or I would be 50 pounds heavier than I am. I do not have the willpower to resist, although I did refrain from their butter English Toffee (aka Butter Brittle ) and fudge. Everytime I have visited, they have been consistently friendly and helpful. I hope they are around in another 100 years!
