They have a very large and nice building easy to find right off of highway 8 heading toward High Rock Lake. Inside they had a pretty decent selection of clothing, hats, footwear, etc. Slightly outsdoorsy type stuff with a good bit of casual clothing as well. They had some sales, and we actually wound up buying a few items! Beside that they had fishing, camping, kayaking, disk golf. Just a pretty good assortment of everything. They certainly don't have the same assortment and selection as one of the huge outdoors stores, but most of the items where from a slightly higher quality brand than your average items at those stores as well. As for prices, I wouldn't call it "drive out of your way to save" type prices, but comparable to what you would pay online for the handful of items I looked at closely. They also have a large boat showroom and a few golf carts, but I did not look too closely, however, tucked behind the boats is a small coffee shop. Would definitely be a nice spot to stop early in the morning to grab your coffee and whatever you needed for the lake! Overall, the employees were very helpful to us, they had a decent selection, and I will probably be back if I am over in that area!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will trespass on your property and steal your paid-for fuel…read more When I purchased my property three years ago, there was a propane tank left behind with absolutely no identifying markings on it. For three years, no one claimed it. Only after three years did Central Gas finally reach out and state that it was their equipment. I communicated with them via email and documented that I still had about 30-35 gallons of my own paid-for propane left in the tank. Their customer service team explicitly told me in writing: "As soon as the tank is depleted, contact us for equipment removal." Instead of honoring their own written word, they waited until I went out of town for the weekend, trespassed on my property, and took the tank with my fuel still inside it. They stole my propane and completely cut off my home's hot water supply with zero warning, directly violating what they told me in writing just to confiscate my fuel. If a company takes three years to identify their own equipment, tells you in writing to use your remaining fuel, and then sneaks onto your property to steal it anyway, that tells you everything you need to know about how they operate. Unprofessional, untrustworthy, and shady business practices. Go with literally any other propane supplier.

Everything sounded good until install day. Their installers need to find a different career. Where…read moredo i start, First they showed up unanounced, no phone call or warning for someone to be there. Or how about the multiple locations that screws were installed, stripped out, and removed leaving empty holes. There is even one exterior hole that they put in a screw and missed the support so they pulled it out and twisted it slightly but still left part of the old hole exposed. Some locations have screws half installed and not tightened all the way. There is crooked trim, drip edge around the lower part of the window that is definitely going to leak. Now for the door issues, it's an overpriced mobile home rear door. They installed it and apparently couldn't get it to close properly so the removed the striker plate. How do I know they removed it you ask, because I found the nuts to the stricker plate bolts under the egde of the door frame. Then the door had protective film on it, they didnt remove it and after a few moths of sun exposure I have a pealing sticky mess all over the outside of the door. Then the last thing I can think of is, they finished install in the dark so the next day I picked up lots of sharp sheetmetal trimmings all around the building in my yard plus a good 50 or more screws the fist couple of days. I am still finding a screw from time to time popping up in the grass. Yes I know they are just the middle men and didnt build it or install it but THEY did hire the idiots who installed it. I wasnt expecting it to be a high end building but I also didnt expect the half ass installation that was avoidable. So I can not recommend this company to anyone else.

I've stopped by this Sedgefield a few times in the summers to refill propane tanks for my grill…read more This time though, was in the winter. With serious winter weather in the forecast, we had serious concerns about losing power, so decided though we don't typically use the grill in the winter, we better have the tanks ready so we can cook if need be. I went over the morning before the storm, but was told I was too late, and their tank was already empty. But they said they had a truck coming around lunch, and took my name and number to call when it arrived. Sure enough, a few hours later, I got a call, and headed back. By the time I arrived there was a short line of people waiting, but they worked quickly, and kept the line moving. Pricing was very fair, in fact, much better than swapping tanks, as I've found the few times I saw them, they are not really full. When Sedgefield fills the tank, they fill it to 100%. They account for what is already in the tank, when they fill no games, no scams...you pay for what you get, and their pricing is $4 a gallon. Would certainly recommend to anyone, and will certainly give them future business. Not just for propane, but also for mulch or gravel when we do some landscaping work in the spring.
