The bill was very reasonable, and they even fixed the sunroof gasket (small fix) at no charge because they noticed it leaked there after rain a week prior. Ever since then, I've only dealt with them. I take my car, sister's car, mom's car, dad's car, and tell all my friends about them. Never heard a single complaint, in fact, only "thank you's" and "wow, done in no time". Does the right thing by you and your car. Service is great, in and out quick, prices are very fair, and he's honest with you about your car. Let's you choose what you need done to your car after showing you exactly what's wrong. Honesty is hard to find in the auto repair business, but this is the place to go if you need something done right.

Loyal customers for 12 years and, yet, they choose to scam us...dishonesty should not be taken…read morelightly! We brought the car for diagnostic, they called us telling that timing belt was worn out and needs replacement. The price estimate they gave us was $2000. We said that we needed to think about it because it sounded like too much for the job. They went ahead and replaced the timing belt (without replacing water pump!!! Water pump replacement should be done along with timing belt replacement-common safety practice everywhere). They told me that they spent 8.4 hours on replacing the timing belt (normal time for a professional is 2 hour, an amateur can do it in 3 hours). They charged me for the Timing Belt Kit $495.95 PLUS the belt itself $89.99 (although it is normally sold with the kit as a package for $365 maximum price). The total bill came up to $1975, and that is WITHOUT OUR CONSENT because we trusted this business for 12 years, they decided to go ahead without our approval of the estimated fee. In comparison, local Acura certified dealership charge $1555 (including tax) for changing timing belt WITH water pump replacement!!! Their professional statement, just like every other shop I asked, was that water pump should be replaced at the same time as timing belt for further engin preservation as water pump has the same wear and tear estimate as the timing belt. After speaking with Casarella's about this, they told me that they can replace the water pump at additional cost. After a day of back and forth meaningless texts, they reduced their bill to 6.4 hours of labor time, which clearly shows the how the price scam works, and their dishonesty because it only takes 2 hours to replace the timing belt at a professional auto shop!! That dishonesty in addition to overcharging for the replaced parts and NOT replaced water pump. OUTRAGEOUS!!

I chose US-1 Auto due to its proximity to me: it turned to a better choice than I thought. US-1 Auto is a small family owned business which still does work in the time honored way of labor intensive thoroughness with a meticulous attention to detail. With a late model Audi, it not just about repairing a door. The drive systems, safety systems, even the emergency braking are integrated into one AI unit. Essentially the car had to be partially rebuilt. US-1 Auto complete rebuilt the door - right down to it being able to swing completely closed with a single finger push. The paint work is literally flawless even under differing light. They worked with Audi to purchase and install authentic Audi parts and had the systems reprogrammed at an authorized dealer. When this tiny repair shop was done, the car performed BETTER than before. There is something to be said about the "old-fashioned" way of performing a task with exhaustive attention to detail. US-1 Auto understands this and the apply that principle with fervor.

entrusted ted and steve to sell my fiance's vintage '59 ford after john passed away in 2022.i would…read moreeither see ted socially or either talk or text with him around 3 times a week. i always had several doubts and questions about how he was handling this possible sale...but the smooth talker always had an excuse to appease me ( i'm 82 years old) after years of frustration we ran the vin # and learned teddy sold this car without my knowledge 18 months before. despite coming to an agreement...after police involvement... concerning the amount he owes me...i have only received a small partial payment. the second payment was promised on oct 1st and of course all i got were lies and excuses. ted has consulted with a lawyer and i wouldn't be surprised to learn that they figured out an angle to not pay me the remaining balance 0f $ 20,000.00 which he promised to pay me . thank goodness i have tape recordings etc. to prove it. it's just very sad to be in this position of being conned by a supposed friend at this stage of my life. i need this money...which is a fact that teddy is aware of. in response to steve t's reply; firstly....us auto was the people who serviced this car on several occasions and you were totally aware of it's mechanical status. secondly...prior to john's passing he called his attorney and asked him how to ensure that the car was left to me. carl told him to sign the back of the registration...which he did...and i have a letter from this lawyer confirming the conversation. thirdly you came to my house on sept 1st with the first payment and as you know i wrote the balance due\ of $20,000 on the receipt and you then assured me that i would receive my next payments on oct 1st...which never happened, fourthly...selling the car without telling me...and pocketing the money is totally illegal and you know it. i asked for a bill of sale and the name of the buyer and ted refused to give it to me...but i am working on getting it. oh yes i am sure that you have ways to produce receipts for repairs that for repairs whether they were done or not. in fact 18 months after the car was already sold and i was clueless your father was telling me he needed to replace the engine. even though the nrpd supervisor said " we know about this guy" i still tried to handle this matter in a quiet and business like manner. unfortunately you have not kept your side of the bargain and obviously attempting to weasel out of our agreement please stop trying to make it look like i am the problem and you are the good guys. the facts will prove that you are the ones who tried to defraud me. Brendan's Auto Body is the most amazing place I have gone for significant car work. My car (2012 BMW 135i) is my baby. I hand wash it every other week, wax it, give it 4 hour deep cleans and leather treatment, etc. When I was rear-ended by another car, I was devastated. Apart from the back bumper and trunk lid being pushed in, I had locking mechanism troubles with my driver's side door. I just wanted it fixed and back to perfect condition that it was before the accident. In comes Brendan. I pulled up to Brendan's Auto Body located on a fairly busy street. They manage very well with the space they have. It is crowded though, because everyone is getting their work done here (which is a very good sign). Brendan greeted me as soon as I got out of my car and asked me what was wrong. He took a liquid chalk marker and proceeded to highlight on my car all the issues I wanted to have addressed while in the shop. He even wrote a note on the driver's side door to look at my locking mechanism that I suspected was damaged during the collision. This immediately made me feel like all my issues would be addressed. After going through the whole car, we went inside where his attentive staff helped guide me through the insurance paperwork and any other concerns I had (ex. wanting OEM parts and replacements rather than patches). After the shop linked me up with Enterprise to get my rental car, I did not hear from Brendan's for almost 2 weeks. Though, leaving there I had full faith my car was in the best hands possible. Today, I received a call that my car would be ready in an hour and a half. When I arrived, I was again met by Brendan and shown my car. Not only was my car fixed to IMPECCABLE standards, but the inside of my car had been detailed, cleaned, and vacuumed. The outside of my car had been fully washed and waxed. My wheels had been detailed and cleaned as well. Brendan went around the car with me and looked at all the angles. He even caught little smudges from the waxing that escaped me. After noticing it, he made sure to call his employee over to take care of it on the spot. He made sure I was 100% happy with everything before giving me the keys and sending me on my way. In summation, Brendan's Auto Body is THE PLACE to go for auto body work. I will not go anywhere else, because this is the only shop that pay attention to detail as much, if not more, as I do to my car. Thank you Brendan!

My car had been towed there by Elmsford PD after a car accident. I wasn't allowed to call my own…read moretow or request where my car was taken. Additionally, I was never informed of cost/ fees associated. My car was scheduled to be towed to the dealership performing the repair, I spoke with Reina to notify them my car was being towed. She sent me an authorization form that stated I was aware there would be a $125 fee. I called to ask about why they were not upfront with the fees, she screamed at me to sign the form, then said "I guess you don't want your car back!" and hung up on me. I reluctantly agreed to sign the form, sent it to her and emailed that I would be coming in to retrieve items out of my car before it was towed. When I went out to my car, I looked to make sure they hadn't done anything to my vehicle, and noticed there was a piece that they had ripped off. I understand there are times when something has to be removed for safety during a tow, but they are supposed to document everything done, and why. I took photos. My insurance then called me to notify me that the tow had gone there, but was not authorized to spend the exorbitant amount they were charging, so they had to leave. I called Brandon's to explain that a piece from my car had clearly been removed. Reina was nasty and condescending on the phone, ended up saying she has no idea and maybe something had been removed but has no way of knowing. How do you have no way of knowing when it was done by the shop you work at? She ended up transferring me to the owner. When I explained the situation to him he said "if you got proof come here and show me." I went in, showed him the photo of my car at the seen of the accident. He told me that the part I was showing him was a piece of the other persons car (it clearly was not), I told him it was not, he said "well then it's still there." I said it was not there and I would just like to know what was removed, why and have it documented, as it is my right to do so. He went out to look at my car. While he went out, I asked Reina for an itemized bill (as it's my right to have). She said "no," when I asked why she wouldn't give it to me, she said "because I said so, you're not even paying, insurance is." My insurance, that I pay for, for my car, that I also pay for and she's telling me I have no right to the bill? I said okay, then explain the charges to me (my insurance had given me a rundown of what they were told the charges were). I asked why I was being charged an inspection fee, a labor fee, and why I was being charged $250/ day instead on the $125 listed on the release form. She rudely stated "Things cost money, what did you expect it to be free?" I said absolutely not, but I am entitled to know what I'm being charged for and why, she once again went on about how I wasn't being charged, insurance was. Agin, my insurance, that I pay for, for my car.... Any honest company would be more than willing to tell you why they are charging you the amount they are, and would be more than willing to provide an itemized copy of the bill if they have nothing to hide. The owner then comes back in screaming at me about how the parts were all still on my car, nothing had been removed and that when they drove the car it got moved under the wheel (complete lie). He then started screaming at me to bet him $1,000 that it was there. I told him I would not be betting him, but would like to know what was done. Again starts screaming at me to bet him, because that's a professional way to conduct business and carry yourself as a company owner. I said okay, well it clearly was removed, but if you won't admit it then let's move on to the charges.He refused to answer any questions pertaining to the charges or amount and continued screaming about how he gave me a nice discount. He then began asking me why I was getting the car towed off his lot and where I'd be getting the work done (why would I want to get it done by him after the way they treat customers). I told him, not that I needed to, he then began talking down to me saying dealerships can't do repairs and they'll send it out elsewhere. (some dealers don't but some do, the place I'm bringing it does them there). He began once again talking over me, talking down to me like I was stupid about how the dealer was going to send my car to a body shop. Why does it matter? I would hire anyone to fix my car before I hired him. He then told me my car was totaled, it is not. He told me it's an old model (literally a 2024 lol). And asked me if the air bags went off, if the air bags had gone off, I'd imagine he'd notice when he went out to look at my car. He then went on about his various titles and how he's on the board of the Westchester automotive something or other (not that it matters or anyone asked). My front seat also had debris all over it after they towed it and the owner refused to acknowledge where it came from. This company is extremely corrupt, charging illegal rates.

Geico suggested I fix my car with them after I was in an accident. After the accident my car's bumper was loose, the front grille was broken and the trunk's door had a dent. I was told that my car was going to be ready in two weeks. It almost took a month for them to fix it. They returned my car to me without fixing the bumper. Them bumper was still loose. I went back to them and the young gentleman(Richie) took care of me. when I asked him to refix the bumper, he told me the following: "What are you talking about? "That's how Honda cars are". I replied to him, NO, that is not Honda cars are. My sister has the same car as mine and I showed him pictures of her car's trunk and he had the nerve to tell me "You are comparing apples to oranges". He finally agree to fix my car. They fixed the bumper. However, my trunk's door needed to be refixed. It was not opening or closing properly. I took it the car back to them on a Monday and it was not fix until Thursday evening. They returned my car with a complete empty gas tank. I wonder if they were using my car for their personal use all those days? The gas tank was filled when I brought the car in. To make matters worse, I had two shoves and one ice scraper in my trunk and they are gone!!!!!! I called Geico and complaint about them and asked Geico not to advise anyone to take their cars for repairs there. I honestly believe that those nice reviews about them were written by themselves.
