On Nov 19 2024 after getting hit on my bumper I went to this place and was pleasantly greeted by Joe .. who proceeded to take pictures then informed me the next steps as to what would take place .."in my case we would order the bumper "( my car was drivable ) ..."Do I have to leave my car ? "I asked .."No we can order the part and once it comes in we will CALL YOU and then you can leave your car ? He replied .."how long would it take for repair to get done ? " I asked ..."once we have the part about one to two days depending" he replied ...all sounded reasonable even the Allstate Insurance gave me the GO to proceed because this company was on their GOOD HAND List apparently...UNTIL Joann called and asked "When would I like to drop off the car ?" ...I replied " that I don't want to leave my car it's drivable to go ahead and order the car part and I will bring it in once the part is in as discussed with Joe " ...." Well if you want to do that we will need a $500 deposit because how do we know you will come back for the repair? " she replied .. that's our policy if you don't want to leave your car !! " I told her I would get back to her on Monday...On Monday I spoke with Allstate auto insurance and the rep Ms Campbell told me that is NOT ALLOWED and she will speak to them ...shortly after I get a call from Halle at the Bronxville Auto "apologizing for the mix up "that I can bring my car for the repair ....I repeated once AGAIN that I did Not want to leave my car ! ..."o then you have to leave a $500 deposit if you want do do that ! " she replied ....left message for Ms Campbell ...Ms Campbell could not believe once AGAIN THEY WERE NOT FOLLOWING GOOD HAND POLICY and this was UNACCEPTABLE...she calls them this time JoAnn came on asked to speak to John the Owner ..."he's not here she replied " Ms Campbell addresses the issue Once Again ...Joann at this point defends the $500 deposit bronxville auto policy has unbeknownst to the Auto insurance company ...At that point Ms Campbell from Allstate Auto Insurance threatens to DROP THEM OFF THE LIST FOR NOT FOLLOWING GOOD HAND POLICY ...at which point JOANN raises her voice in attack ( she had no idea I was on the other line listening) defending their UNDERHANDED policy to the consumer !! I want to start this off by saying i am a big car enthusiast and when it comes to having my car worked on, i am super particular about who does the work. I went to Bronxville auto collision after being told to go there by a friend because he said he trusts no other shop. My car was hit and the ladies insurance company kind of left me out in the dark. I called bronxville auto and what followed was hands down the best service i could have asked for. John and joe got me started right away. They handled everything, and i mean everything. They spoke to insurance and settled everything without me having to lift a finger. I never once was needed for anything. I was updated along the way and was called when my car was ready. They even offered to stay late because it was around closing time. When i got there i was immediately greeted by john the owner who took the time to not only show me to my car, but talk to me like a normal down to earth guy, which is incredibly rare. They really make you feel like family. Now for my car. Not only was the damaged fixed, but my car was detailed, and not just in the spot where it was hit. The entire car both exterior and interior was detailed at every square inch. I cant say enough great things about the guys. They treated me as if ive known them my whole life. While I must admit listening to the same story over and over again gets boring, it's hard to describe my dad's elation when he returns from this body shop. They must be the nicest, most professional, most thorough car-wreck place in the world. Last night he actually said, "OMG, look at the job they did on these pipes! It's not like I'm looking forward to crashing my car or motorcycle, but I am looking forward to bringing it here when I do." I went to this shop few years ago after being rear ended to have my car repaired. I met John and after our conversation, I was left with assurance that my new car with less than 5K mileage would receive brand-new parts replacement (genuine Honda parts only) and there is nothing for me to worry and all will be taken care of. That was reassuring at that time especially going through hard time with accident incident. However, I was so wrong to trust them, over the months and years---slowly I found out about the lies one by one (some through Honda's inspection and other third-party). One side of the muffler was replaced with an aftermarket refurb instead of new OEM, but he claims that is how they came, despite showing him he completely refused (see image and judge). My TRUNK still to this day does not open all the way (just pops a bit), car alignment was off--when driving on even surface, car moves towards the left (slightly) this is due to some bent rear suspension, control arms and/or knuckles, really bad balance, has bad roll in corner because of the issue listed here. I tried to get these issues resolved but as usual "complete denial" and flagged it as needs maintenance, when they NEVER properly INSPECTED or FIXED the car except slapping a good paintwork. After complaining last year, his mechanic slipped up and told me few things but later changed the story after checking in with him saying nothing was wrong and would not even lift the car up to inspect it. This is how you know they are bunch of liars especially when he tried to dismiss everything by saying he gave me a free car alignment, sanding/buffing (scratched up my roof trim liner, and melted some paint areas, see pic) and that there is nothing he can do. Now, slowly I am noticing corrosion build up on most of the parts that were replaced. How can this happen if they are genuine Honda parts? I know that if I take the car again and show all these issues, he will brush it off and deny any wrongdoing or any parts being reconditioned/refurb or aftermarket. My advice and recommendation are---do not waste your time with this shop, if you need repairs done, please do yourself a favor go to a better shop with decent people who will take care of your car and do the job right. If you did repairs check them, especially bottom of the car. If you find things like me, do not waste time, just go through Better Business Bureau and State (DMV) and file a complaint. That is exactly what I am going to do. read more

I just had a great experience with this shop. I was driving a loaner/rental car which was a sporty model which is low to the ground. As I pulled away from a curb the passenger side molding pull off. I was left with a totally detached strip goin the length of the car. The 8 clips holding it on were mostly broken or missing. I thought this was going to be very costly if I returned the car to my dealer in this condition. I thought or sure it was going to cost me hundreds if the dealership did the repair. BAC took care if it for me within 15 minutes, clips and installation and they were so nice they did not even charge me for the clips! Now that was the most courteous treatment I have received in a long time. Kudos to this shop!! read more

AMAZING!!!! I took my Lexus IS to Bronxville Auto Collision after being rear ended. Right from the very start I was greeted immediately when I arrived, and I felt as if I was treated like family. I had to leave my car to have the insurance company adjuster come and look at it there. As far as my involvement with the process, it was very little to none. The entire staff took care of what I needed. Thank god, I was concerned that I would have to go back and fourth with my insurance company. Not the case.The rent a car company was called, I was picked up right away and off I went to get my rent a car. From that point I was called by John the owner of the establishment a few days later, he advised me exactly what was going to happen. He told me all was approved by the insurance company, and the repair to my vehicle was underway. As the vehicle was being repaired I received text message updates, as well as calls from John. When the repair to my vehicle was completed, I went to pick it up. I was shocked, stunned, and at a loss for words. To be honest I was super impressed. My car looked exactly the same as when I first purchased it. I even had a few friends look at the work after it was completed and they asked me where was the car hit? I can't say enough about the amazing,fantastic work done on my vehicle. Words can not describe how polite, professional, and how they cared for my car like it was their own. Not to mention that apparently my car has some type of special paint. My understanding is that not easy to get that color correct. But, they did!!! I've unfortunately had the misfortune of having my JAGUAR F TYPE housed and repaired by this body shop. They were inconsiderate to say the least, they had my car for 3 weeks on a job that should have taken a week. They constantly changed completion dates, and returned my vehicle gas tank on E ( goes without saying that I didn't give in the car on E). Granted they had issues with shipments of parts, but instead of notifying me, I found out the same day they did, and it took them 3 more days to just re-order a part ! TO RE- ORDER !! Something that takes less than 2 minutes. I even had to call my Insurance company to put some pressure on them. Eventually they texted me stating the car would be ready on a Thursday, it wasn't, I finally came to pick up the vehicle on the subsequent Saturday, just to have to wait 20mns for the detailing.
