Highly recommend! I have been battling with hair removal and the affect on my sensitive skin for years. Tried waxing in the past, sugaring, at home epilator/laser. All of those made me break out a great deal. It was getting frustrating. My brother referred me to Ted D Bare. Through their speedy approach, my skin has never reacted better. Jane's quick efficiency made me realize that my skin was reacting to the lengthy exposure to the hair removal process. I travel up from SoCal when it coincides with Janes schedule. Totally worth it. Fast, affordable, little to no break out, and straight to the point! Jane is my kind of professional. Thanks Ted D Bare! read more

I have been on Accutane for a while meaning- no waxing for me. Before Accutane I was a regular here, Jane is the BEST! This place is adorable and they make you feel very comfortable. I have been to many other places, chains, and occasionally I do my own Brazilians (ouch, I know) The best wax I have ever gotten was from this gem! xoxo read more

Amazing experience! I've had Pai on every visit and she's wonderful and I'm sure all the others are as well. Love this place and how comfortable they make me feel. Highly recommended. read more

What I love about this place: 1. Jane, who is my aesthetician, is super friendly and efficient. 2. My appointment is at 12, but I got in earlier. As long as you book your appointment first, you don't have to wait for long at all. 3. The decor and cleanliness is very on point. Definitely recommend and will come back! read more

They are absolutely the best, professional, clean, no double dipping!!! Very funny and entertaining!! They are awesome. I highly recommend them, I have tried all the ladies there, they are very well trained, FAST, reasonably priced. read more

THANK MY LUCKY STARS I FOUND JANE!!!! I can barely gather the words to explain what an AMAZING experience this was!!! I live in the south bay and have been desperately looking for a Brazilian waxer! I am a licensed esthetician and have tried countless other places (including friends and colleagues), but nothing has ever come close to this! IM SOLD! REPEAT CLIENT FOR LIFE! 1. Quick response to inquiry 2. Love the website and hidden humor! 3. On time, and DONE IN 5 MINUTES!! ( which is a hard task with my hair) and has never done before! It takes me longer to text someone back! 4. PAINLESS!!!, and I know what you are probably thinking "Yeah right" BUT I SWEAR! NO EXAGGERATION! It must be a combination between her technique and BRILLIANT sense of humor that keeps you distracted. 5. LOVE THE PLACE! Cute, retro/modern feel inside! GREAT PARKING, easy access from the freeway. 6. she got ALL THE HAIR! YAY for BALDNESS 7. JANE IS HILARIOUS!!!! that was the cherry on top! I HEART HER ALREADY ALL AND ALL this little lady is the REAL DEAL!!! NO fluff, HAIR NAZI!!!, and I DIG IT! I have already recommend her services to ALL of my friends and family! I told them, "YOU BETTER CHECK YOURSELF BEFORE YOU WRECK YOURSELF!" DO YOURSELF (and your lover lover) A FAVOR, GO SEE PAIN JANE, you WILL NOT regret it! read more

One of the best Brazilians I've ever had! Gabby was so quick and efficient. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and everything looks great! All you do is fill out a quick form if you're a first timer and then take you back and you're done! She talked to me the whole time and made it so easy to get through read more

Came in for my first time today and I was more than impressed. Went in for a Brazilian and like every other normal person, I was nervous about getting it done. I usually go to European Wax Center but a lot of my friends have been telling me about this place. I emailed for an appointment and received a response very quickly. I walked in and was totally blown away by the aesthetics of the place. Since it was my first time there, I had to fill out a form and then I was led into the room by Jane. Jane is AMAZING btw! The room itself was just as great as the waiting area and there was even a tv playing 30 Rock. Jane is def "no bullshit let's get this done" type of person and I absolutely loved it. She talked the entire time and I felt more focused on our conversation than the waxing itself. It definitely hurt, I mean what do you expect from getting hot wax on your kitty?? But Jane made it waaaay less painful than EWC with all the ongoing conversation. The wax was done in less than 10 minutes, I paid the $40 no tip, and went on my happy way singing praises about this place. 100% coming back! read more

This is a very long overdue review! First of all, when you walk in it's soo aesthetically pleasing. Everything was decorated very cute. I always go to either Pai or Jane. They're both AMAZING. You're in and out within 10 minutes. But within those 10 minutes you're having great conversations with them. It amazes me how quick they can be with minimal pain (but that's just me). I used to go to EWC (not that great) but once I heard about TED D BARE through a friend... I found myself returning and can't see myself going anywhere else! read more

Love Jane & Pai! My friend recommended me to come here and I'm glad I did. It was easy to make an appointment. I texted Jane and she gave me a list of available times and everything was set from there. I didn't have any trouble finding her new location and it's nice that there's a small parking lot in the back. Her interior design is super cute and I didn't have to wait long for Jane to call me in. First experience - quick & painful, but bearable. Jane was really funny and kept the conversation going. She has a no tipping policy. $40 and that's it folks. Came back a few other times and was helped by Pai. She's just as amazing as Jane and really chill. Definitely my go-to. Quality waxing at an inexpensive price. read more

Been there a few times now and it's always a smooth experience. Service is done professionally and pretty quick, not as painful as other places I have been. They are always easy to talk to and it helps as it takes your mind off laying their in the birthday suit getting your hair yanked off. The Manzillian as they call it will leave you clean, smooth and ready to take on the world... read more

The best kind of wax; comfortable, FAST, and affordable. This place knows what they're doin and I actually can't wait to go back. Also not sure what kind of witchcraft she did on me bust somehow I have like no hair grown back lol read more

Love! Love! Love! Love! Love them! Fast, perfectionists, and clean, very clean. That's everything you need to be waxed. The icing on the cake is their pleasant positive funny personalities. They really know how to optimize the mood when you're exposing your private parts to strangers to have your hair ripped out by the roots. read more

As everyone on here has already attested to, Ted D Bare is the place to get your wax on (off). My waxer decided to throw in the towel and move away ---- which I was super happy she made that call, but I was left to decide where to next? Obvi 5 stars across the board was enough to get me to book, and was literally in an out faster than I thought possible. Thank you! read more

Been going to Jane since 2012 for brazilian. Best place I've ever found so I drive all the way from Redwood City. Super fast! I've gone to Pai as well read more

I had an appointment with Jane this morning for a Brazilian and she took me in right on time for my appointment. If you followed their instructions on how long shouldn't shave before your appointment then the whole process will be quick! It took her pretty much 5 minutes to give me a nice Brazilian! Not kidding. Yes, it's true - it's not painless, it's more like stingy but very bearable. Jane kept the conversation going which made it easier for me not to think about the waxing. Getting an appointment is pretty easy too! I will definitely go back! read more

It's been forever since I came here! And I have no idea why I stopped. Got a manzillian and I got pai this time (last time was Jane) and they are so professional!!! Pai made me super relaxed and did an awesome job at distracting me. She is the definition of dope. I wish they did other services cause I want more reasons to come back!!!! Haha. But seriously, everyone could learn a thing or two about service from these ladies. They are masters read more

Getting an appointment here is not easy. I tried to get an appt and I kept exchanging emails with someone because every time I selected a time, I would get response that the slot was taken. I finally gave up and ended up going elsewhere. read more

I love Jane. Yes Brazilian wax hurts no matter who does it. If anyone tells you it doesn't they r lying. So why is Jane so great? Cuz she does it quickly so it's a fast pain. She's straight to the point and it's it's fun talking to her because she's crazy In a good way. I'm so glad I found her and I will never go to anyone else for waxing. I love her cash only no tip policy. She tells you everything up front so there are no surprises. Her new location is easy to get to and really nice inside. read more

Love going to Pai!!! After Pretty Kitty in Sunnyvale closed down, I had to find a new waxing place . Even though at the time I was sad, I actually love Ted D Bare more!! It was like being dumped only to end up marrying a hot rich guy! Pai is super fast, yet meticulous. It doesn't hurt that she's fun to talk to which also helps distract from the pain. My results are amazing and their prices are affordable. I am now a regular and couldn't imagine getting waxed by anyone other than Pai! read more

I've been Janes client for years!! She's incredibly talented, hilarious, and fast as F. BEST Brazilian you've ever gotten. Guaranteed. I've timed her before. In and out the door in 6 minutes. 6 MINUTES. Are you kidding me? I've had other waxers take 20-40 minutes before! Jane is the best. Hands down, no arguments. K thanks bye go get waxed read more

Jane is amazing. This is the fastest, friendliest Brazilian I've ever had. Yes, it still hurts, but Jane does a great job of distracting you by continuing conversation and making you feel super comfortable. I recommend Ted D Bare to everyone. It really can't be topped. read more

Gabby is the Eye Brown Queen! The reason behind my "Brows on Fleek" & she is killing the brow game in San Jose in a major way!! Who doesn't want beautifully shaped eyebrows? I have been a loyal customer of Gabby's for almost 9 years. I met Gabby while she worked at Benefit and have been going back to see her every time I need my brows done. Over the years at Benefit she became so popular that I had to start booking appointments with her because she had a long list of clients wanting to see her, which is no surprise because she is the best at what she does. Every time I get my brows done I receive compliments from family, friends, and strangers on the shape, fullness, and trim. She is talented, takes her time, and knows what she is doing. When I heard she moved to Ted D Bare, I had to follow her. Book an appointment with her now, you will not regret it! I'm also happy that I don't have to deal with the awful parking lot at Valley Fair Macy's anymore & pushy sales people :/ read more

My experience was flipping awesome! Why Ted D Bare? * Very reasonably priced * Pai was super. Skilled, polite, friendly, and made the process comfortable. * Was taken early (I arrived early). * Didn't take long at all. * Didn't hurt at all. This was my first time, but it went so well, I will be returning. read more

Loved it! Price is amazing!! Would definitely go again!! Amazing staff, very friendly, clean and nice studio.

Don't normally do reviews but felt this was necessary: Just did my first Brazilian ever with Pai. And man, I was in and out in 10 mins. Yeah there's pain, but it goes by so fast and conversing with Pai took my mind off of it. Highly, highly recommend. read more

I recently booked a vacation to Hawaii and before I knew it was right around the corner. I also just moved to the area so I was in serious need of a good brazilian waxer. And then there was Jane... The best, fastest, most professional brazilian I have ever had. She talked to me the entire time to keep my mind off of the fact she was spreading hot wax very close to a sensitive area and was upfront about everything she did. I was out in 10 min....it had been almost a year since my last brazilian so it took longer than normal..but ten minutes of pain and not have to deal with a razor on vacation? totally worth it. Obviously it hurt, but like Jane also exclaimed...its 100% worth it. read more

Brazilian: $40, 10-15 minutes, zero tip. Jane is super spunky and makes the time fly by. It hurts every time but it's so worth it as the results lasts for weeks. The place is very very clean, and there are magazines to flip through if you arrive early. Jane is ALWAYS on time, love that about her. Also very easy to make appointments by emailing her directly, but she only accepts appointments up to 2 weeks in advance. Highly recommend her to anyone! read more

Got my first ever Brazilian done by Mandy and she was awesome! I tried to wax myself a couple months ago, but gave up 1/5 of the way through. Honestly this hurt less than getting my roots bleached platinum and was over in 5 minutes. Mandy was super friendly, quick, and detailed! I thought it'd hurt a lot more than it actually did! Thanks Mandy! I'll be back!! read more

One of the best places ! They are super great and make you feel comfortable happy to find them

If I could give this place 10 or 20 stars I would it's that amazing! I moved here a while back and now I'm just getting to switch all of my nail, hair, wax, etc. people to the area. I found this place on Yelp and because of other people's experiences I decided to check it out. I read the website (which it hilariously funny ad awesome) and it led me to her email/text to make an appointment. I went with the email and she was quick to reply and break down her schedule of available times. I chose my time and she replied with a breakdown of what to expect. While reading the email, I started to get a little nervous. Come on its your vagina, who wouldn't be scared that it's going to be ripped off and in pain. I imagined the weekend with peas on my crotch. So today was my appointment, I walk in to her place which is beautifully decorated and awesome environment, and she calls me back when it's her turn. She says "drop your pants and get on the table, don't mind me", I say eff it and get started. The entire process of debushing me took less than 10 minutes, minor pain (they are liars when they say pain free), no embarrassment as this lady doesn't care. Never felt so comfortable to have someone be in your vaginal area. I will definitely come back! Totally love her! read more

Just got a wax here with Mandy and I have never been happier with results and service!!!! I've gotten waxes for a while and nobody has ever made me feel as comfortable as Mandy! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who gets waxed every month. read more

Got my first wax here yesterday. Gaby was fast and friendly. Please do get there in time, as it does put her behind schedule on the small studio. The strip wax did hurt a little more than the hard wax that I'm used to, but it did the trick, and I think I'll be coming back! read more
