I first searched on my trusty Yelp app some price quotes and on a Sunday, received a message from Katy Cell Phone Repair and brought it in the next day. Located inside a shared space with a shipping store, I was greeted by Ali and quoted a $99 screen replacement price. No passcode or further information was required. Within 2 days, the watch was completed and I was charged the quoted amount. Upon sending the video to my Chef friend, she was so shocked to see her watch restored! I feel good about my deed of repairing her watch, meeting a trusted and fair electronics repair team of Muhammed (that's my mnemonic to remember the duo's name: Muhammed Ali!), and keeping the electronics landfill low with a repair. When they replace the back plate, they messed the flashlight of the phone, so for second time I left my phone in the store to fix the issue they create. First red flag, the edge of the phone on the back part was with scratches and marks all over I imagine when they they replace the back the first time, the manager or person in charge of the store told me that he will fix that this time. So they proceed and open the phone and did the repair for the flashlight. After a couple of they the phone was "ready" and apparently everything was working properly until I try to pay with apple pay or use the wallet ( the sensor for that wasn't working), then went to a concert try to use the phone as a ticket no working, went to the store for the third time, he told no worries sorry for that and bla bla bla. My ps5 scuf control has been having stick drift for about 5 months now and it finally became too unbearable. Instead of sending it in to scuf and paying approx $100-150 after them having the controller for over 6-8 weeks, I was more than happy that Robert was able to fix the stick drift for more than half that price and same day. He replaced my joysticks with TMR joysticks which will be incredibly less prone to get stick drift and even it does, I can recalibrate the joystick magnets to fix the stick drift myself.
