For example, you might have a great skilled worker that knows how to do his job, but when it's time to think "outside the box" they might get uncomfortable because they need some directions on how to perform the task. Well I was lucky to run into DustIn and his shop. I called around a few other shops and they weren't too familiar with what I needed done (thread repairs on a 3" diameter) but Dustin had that "I'll figure it out, bring it over" attitude which I love. Not only did he get to work as soon as I got there, but he showed me how to finish cleaning the threads out Incase the work he did wasn't enough. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!…read more I have been patient in looking to add a kitten/cat to our family and stumbled across Marigold on a fosters Instagram page which prompted me to submit an application. Kat reached out the very next day after reviewing our application and pre approved us. Yelena reached out for all coordination afterwards. Marigold was not even posted on the rescues page but they were so kind and were able to get us in to meet her. The foster mom (and dad) were wonderful and have been doing this for so long (60+ kitties). We instantly fell in love with Marigold and were able to be selected to adopt her (pat on our back for being able to provide a good home). She came from a hoarder home and was lucky to survive from malnutrition. We came back to get her after getting she completed her shots/spayed. Not even 24 hours in, my one year old tabby loves her and she is settling in perfectly. I will say I have had not so great experiences with other rescues in the area and Dirty Little Paws surpassed all expectations! I hope one day I can repay them and foster another baby in need.

I sent her a text the morning of letting her know I was feeling contractions but they weren't regular yet. She responded by telling me they probably were Braxton Hicks and all was good. I pushed back a little knowing these were Braxton Hicks. Mind you I was 39+5 at this point so labor was expected. Around 5pm was our last talk about my birthing plan. She didn't know much about my hospital but that's okay. At midnight I called a ton trying to get ahold of her cause I was headed to the hospital. She never answered. Rang her many many times. She then had the audacity to show up 30 minutes after baby was born acting like she was going to be helpful. She tried to get me to latch baby even though in my plan I stated I was exclusively pumping. A nurse actually stepped in and told her I was pumping. I was extremely disappointed in her unprofessionalism. I wish I had had my brain to tell the nurses not to let her back if she did show up, or that I had just said something right away when she got there that I didn't need or want her there. I know she probably charged my insurance for a delivery and all. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

This little nature reserve was such a unique and enlightening experience! They have different animal experiences you can book in advance for on their website, but their most popular seems to be the one where you get to sit in a pool with otters! The session and communication beforehand were well organized and helpful. I won't spoil everything, but not only did we get to sit in a pool with otters zooming all over the place at the end, but we got to learn about, see, and touch about 6 other types of animals up close + walk through some of the property to view some other saved animals. For the otter swim, the team will take tons of photos using your phone or camera, so you can just enjoy the moment! They recommend wearing a tank or shirt over your swim suit (there will be time to change into it right before the swim), and J wish I wore a looser shirt, because it gives more space for the otters to wiggle in and explore :D Plenty of parking, clean restrooms on site, bring your own water/snacks if needed. Definitely a little pricey, but it goes to support the reserve and its little critters and was such a fun time! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a special experience for any animal lover :)

I asked if any of them had training certificates, no response. They quit answering my emails, I had made a donation to their rescue to help them as they are a non profit run by volunteers, after not liking my emails they refunded my donation with out my request, I asked for a call from a manager owner, even supplied them with my number, no response. Maybe the owner could call me. I would like to leave them a better review.
