I ordered a matcha and two orders of the mango pancakes. For the size and overall quality, it didn't feel worth the price. The mochi had an off texture and tasted almost like plastic, lacking the flavor I've experienced at other places. The matcha was average--nothing particularly memorable. One positive is that ordering through the kiosk is very convenient and makes the process quick and easy.
Good service from the employees! But the drink was underwhelming. Maybe it's just the Strawberry Kiss but it tasted like strawberry Fanta without gas. I'm pretty sure it's just water with syrup, at least it tastes like it. Also the description says it comes with puree, but mine came with very little particles (see picture)
First time coming here. We had a great experience and a tasty boba. There's a kiosk to place your order. The service was fast and friendly, I would come back. They also had pretty cool decor for you to take selfies.
I love going to Teazen Tea. I had to stop by to grab some boba. My go-to is the matcha crème brûlée with light ice, and my boyfriend picked the ube taro crème brûlée with boba. We definitely enjoyed the boba--not too sweet, and the matcha didn't overpower each other in my drink. Perfect for a good boba date.
Teazen San Jose is not busy, plenty of seats, and service is quick! The store is pretty big too and decorated nicely. Love the teas and especially smoothies here!
I usually order from here via Door dash so I haven't had the chance to go in yet, but I will! And here's why. I ordered their Tiramisu cloud coffee and omg was it delicious. I wasn't sure if it would travel well and dilute due to the ice but I took a gamble and it was so good! I will definitely be coming back for that drink. It has the right amount of sweet, I selected 50%. I also ordered a pandan waffle which was great as well! I've had their teas before too and they're good! Whenever I order via delivery they always get my order correct, which is always appreciated! I would recommend their business!
This boba place was just okay for me. Although the interior is very aesthetically pleasing, it felt like overcompensation. They have a large list of drinks which is good for groups that have different tastes in drinks but this usually means all the drinks will be a bit average. To me, the drinks weren't anything special. They had some interesting flavors/drinks so it's definitely something to try if you like sweet drinks. Ordering was a bit tough because we originally decided to order on the self kiosk. However, after looking between the kiosk menu and the in-store menu, they were formatted differently. It was hard to find the same drinks between the two. There was also not an option to switch milks on the kiosk so we had to order at the register.

(My favs were the ube & tiramisu) The staff is so nice & the interior has a good amount of seating with cute decor!

It had little pieces of crème brûlée floating around, and you can definitely taste it along with the drink. I tried the tiramisu cloud coffee last time and it was so good that I got it again.
A chill, cozy boba place! There's a self kiosk right when you enter the store and there's some cute interior decorations. The staff were really friendly and explained their milk options as we order. We ordered a princess peach, crème brûlée, mango summer tea, pandas waffle, and egg waffle. The princess peach has a pretty ombré and taste refreshing. The mango green tea is decent but the crème brûlée is rich and creamy with a delicious thick cream. The waffles have a crispy outside and soft inside. The pandan waffle also have some coconut in it which I liked.

I also opted to get a pandan waffle - yum - and a tiramisu drink. I enjoyed the brown sugar milk tea - it had a nice flavor without being too sweet. The pearls were also a good consistency and I will definitely have to stop by again for this drink. The pandan waffle was yum - as expected. I wasn't a big fan of the tiramisu drink when I tried it - it wasn't quite like the tiramisu cake flavor, but it wasn't a good milk tea flavor, either - not bad, just not to my taste. The inside of the shop was very cutely decorated. Great place to take pictures and plenty of space to hang out and enjoy the drinks/snacks. The workers who made my drinks/waffle were nice and everything came out pretty quickly. Overall, highly recommended. Parking can be tight as it's in a small strip mall, but not horrible.
I ordered a pandan waffle with matcha cloud foam, but the matcha cloud foam was completely missing. I didn't notice until I got home. I also ordered a guava sunset tea with lychee jelly, and there was barely any lychee included. These aren't small details -- they're paid add-ons and core parts of the items. For the price, I expect to receive what I ordered. This experience felt careless and frustrating, and I won't be returning.

We tried this location for the first time last weekend and it was really good. Today I was a little disappointed...or a lot. I ordered a Taro Ube Coffee with coffee jelly. Sadly online, you cannot tell them the ice level. Today the drink was overflowing to the point they had to put tape over the top. The cup was packed with ice so full you cannot mix the drink at all. If you even remotely try to stir it the foam oozes out the top and under the lid. So your sip is either pure coffee with coffee jelly and ice, or foam and ice. Last time it had three layers where you can see the coffee, the taro, and the ube. I can't let it melt to try and incorporate it because it will just continue to ooze. So who knows how much of my foam is on a napkin that I had to grab before it was a complete disaster. Bummer because last week was great. read more

Decent black tea boba with strawberry. I appreciate they give the option to choose your sweetness level. We also took Oreo smoothie and it was delicious as well :) the inside decor is cute and modern! The servers are smiling and happy serving bobas over bobas! read more

I usually order from here via Door dash so I haven't had the chance to go in yet, but I will! And here's why. I ordered their Tiramisu cloud coffee and omg was it delicious. My gf was craving for some bubble tea and this one is one was close to me. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea with 50% sugar and honey boba as the toppings. It was so good. I think it's non caffeinated but we shall see tonight. The place is cute and offers spaces for you to sit and hangout with your friends. The bonus is that their drinks are good. The workers were very friendly. So kudos to the good service too. read more

Stopped in for their second anniversary, where they were having a BOGO deal. They have a giant kiosk for self ordering but it wasn't programmed for the deal so one of the workers took my order. He was helpful, explaining they use a special dairy thing for their milk teas. I was more interested in their fruit teas, so I didn't pay special attention. I ended up getting the mango summer tea and the passion butterfly tea. I was able to customize the sugar and ice levels and got 50% for each. I also got boba in the mango drink. The Summer mango was very yummy - very refreshing. The passion butterfly tea was also quite tasty-much more tea forward. I think it needed more passion fruit flavor. Overall both drinks didn't have a strong enough tea flavor for me. Definitely more fruity and sweet leaning. Also follow them on IG 0 they always have some kind of deal going on. read more

They are located in a small strip mall off of Capitol Expwy, close to Baskin Robbins 31 Flavors. I stopped by at night, so it was a colorfully lit shop. They have inside seating available and maybe a table outside. One clean bathroom. And a few IG-worthy spot to snap your pics. I liked that they closed around 10:45pm, later than most other tea spots. TEAZENTEA (Black) Milk Tea: If you're undecided, opt for their signature TEAZENTEA Black Milk Tea. Crafted with their finest loose-leaf black tea, this delightful choice is entirely dairy-free, ensuring a rich and satisfying experience. I was undecided because they had a good number of drinks on their menu that I wanted to try! Anyway, my drink was sweet at 100%. Good tea flavor, though the batch of boba I got, some were half cooked, which was disappointing for me. But not enough to discourage me from returning so I can try their other drinks. read more

Stopped in to grab coffee with friends and it was so good! The foam coffees are super fluffy and flavorful -- easily one of my favorites I've had in the area. The inside was also super cute, and really well decorated. Lots of great backgrounds for pictures! read more
First timer here and it so happens that they are doing a promo for their 1 year anniversary. I recommend following their IG for updates during this period! We got 3 drinks; originally we ordered one over DoorDash pickup and then saw they are doing BOGO so ended up grabbing 2 more drinks. Btw BOGO only applies to in store purchases. We got: - green milk tea w/boba: 4/5 - boba has a good consistency - purple rice yogurt: 4/5 - yogurt is on the sweeter side, your typical Vietnamese yogurt which I haven't had in so long so I really enjoyed it; the purple rice was okay; could have been thicker, too liquidy - crème brûlée brown sugar: 4/5 - make sure to mix completely because all the brûlée sits on the bottom Overall, the drinks were on the sweeter end regardless of the different sweetness level so recommend going even lower than your typical preference. read more
This is Absolutely one of my favorites bubble tea shop in the Bay Area! We have been here a few times now, usually whenever I'm on this Side of town, Capital area location. They offers unique Refreshing drinks and simple snacks on the menu. Strawberry Matcha, Princess Rose, Sunset Passion, Rose Matcha Latte, Pink Dragon, and Passion Fruit Mix teas are among some of my favorites here at TeaZenTea. Specialty Snacks includes: Pandan Waffles, Veggie Egg Rolls, Popcorn Chicken, and many Flavors of Mochi Doughnuts!! I love the Interior settings here! One of my favorite Boba places, it used to be right down the straight from my house so when I find myself back in the area I had to stop back in :) the staff was super friendly and recommended to try their brand new Mochi treats and I'm so glad I did. I chose the mango and Oreo flavor and it's the perfect late night treat, not too sweet, super chewy and fresh. I loved both flavors, they also had a strawberry too I'll try to get next time. I paired it with the Sunset Passion Fruit Tea they said was a favorite and it's definitely a repeater, I got it with Lychee jelly and it was a 10/10 The interior is super clean and aesthetic too, moody lighting with comfy seating which is a plus too read more
TeaZenTea has so many drink options. The staff there are pretty chill and silly, enjoying dancing to KPop music. I love the decor in here. There's a lot of flowers and a nice, cozy egg chair inside. These seats are great to take photos with and I rarely see it get super crowded. You can surely invite a lot of friends to hang out here. The boba will range from $6-8 which is the typical price for these drinks in the Bay Area. Parking is alright and there is a tablet stand where you can place your orders without having to speak to the servers. They get on with your order right away. I wish they had 0% sweetener for a strawberry smoothie though. It was still delicious to enjoy. read more

, It's been so hot in the Bay Area, we were looking for something refreshing and stumbled across @teazenteasj The interior was decorated with a lot of plants and leaves that you really felt Zen while you order and wait for your drink.
