I first…read moreentered the building, which I thought was the main building and started wondering around trying to find the ticketing area, but there was none. I found myself in a gallery until a security guard told me that this is a ticketed area and told me to get a ticket from the gift shop. I went to the gift shop and bought my ticket and then they directed to a separate building where the museum actually was. While I walked there, I passed by an aquarium and walked in and it turned out that you need a separate ticket for it! I left the aquarium and continued my quest to find the museum. I passed by a garden with various statues, pretty cool and the museum and right behind that. Went into the museum building and walked in to what I thought was part of the exhibit and it turned out to be the back part of it and I was directed to go to the other end. Yes! I finally found it! They took my ticket and I entered the museum exhibit area. It's a gallery of the history of Mexico from ancient times to almost current day. I love that for most of the articles, there's an English translation below it as well. Definitely recommend checking out this museum. Don't get lost!

The museum is very well thought out, interesting and well designed. It gives a history focusing on the Baja California region of Mexico. It was very informative and helped to learn a lot about the area, its indigenous people and how it came to be the Baja we know today. I enjoyed it immensely though do wish there was more emphasis on the indigenous communities and their contributions to the culture and not so heavy on the impact of the Spanish especially the priests and monks. They do history a disservice by not mentioning the atrocities that transpired against the native people by the conquerers both religious and otherwise in the name of religion and "gentrification". We need to be honest, so that these crimes against humanity are not soon repeated.

Durante conciertos, hay varios locales alrededor que ofrecen tarifas baratas. E tenido el gusto de poder ver a grandes artistas, unos de mis favoritos: Panda, Fobia, División Minúscula, Zoe y otros rockeros. Lo mejor es que boletos de piso son unos de los más baratos, chistoso que en comparación de San Diego esos son los más caros. Quien va a conciertos para sentarse?? Yo no. At first, we could only hear hip-hop music from outside, so we weren't sure if they were going to play any Latin music at all. They said the music was inside and checked my ID. The cover was 50 pesos per person and we headed towards the back. It was pretty empty for being 10:30pm....We ordered a few beers and a couple tamarind margaritas while watching a few people dance. The margaritas were yummy and prices were cheap! A few guys asked me to dance and since my friend and I were the only Asians, everyone kept staring at us. A live band came out shortly after and they were pretty good! The female singer had a really strong voice! More people started coming around midnight and it was getting kind of crowded. There wasn't a lot of room to dance since the dance floor is small. Overall, I had a lot of fun that night even though the leads were lacking.

It's a great experience even for a regular cinema. I love how they have different flavors of popcorn. Last time I went, they had a cheesey mix flavor, regular butter flavor, and a chili flavor. There's also a small coffee shop in the theater next to the popcorn/snack sale area. Sometimes they even have a crepe stand that sells both sweet and savory crepes. It's usually between the popcorn sale area and the coffee shop. I know that Cinepolis has a few locations in California as well. I'll have to make a visit to see if they're as good as the ones in Mexico.

It's located a bit further into the plaza whereas the regular Cinepolis is located right at the entrance. I think it's safe to say I've been here over 50 times. At one point in my life I used to watch a movie here twice every month. The workers are all so friendly and helpful. There's a nice lounge near the concession area that you can use if while you're waiting for your viewing room to open up. They have a menu that's exclusive to the VIP theatre. If you're running late and didn't have time to stop at the concession stand, you're able to order directly from your seat within the viewing room. It's usually pretty clean and I've never had a problem getting my tickets. The reclining chairs are comfortable, and while I rarely consume alcoholic beverages in movie theaters, I think it's great that they have the option for those that do. The crepes are my favorite snack. My favorite is blackberry jam with cream cheese.

It's located inside the mall and there is ample parking at the mall parking lot. Upon walking up there was no one working the ticket counter but after a brief wait we were asked what movie we wanted to see and purchased our tickets. It looked as though they were a bit understaffed because the person at the ticket counter then had to run behind the snack counter to help another customer. They have comfortable chairs but it smelled a bit mildewy when we walked in the theater. It could have been because it was the first showing of the day and the air conditioning had been off. The smell went away pretty quickly and the sound and picture were great.
