I didn't see any gambling tables just slot machines. I added 20 pesos to the card intending on playing the penny machine like I do in the States. Lol. The cheapest slot machine was 5 pesos. I went on and thankfully another player who spoke Engish showed me how to use the machine and cash out. After I lost only playing a few rounds is when I realized duh, you only lost $1 in US money. Lol I balled out the 2nd time and added 30 pesos, lol. I betted the max and lost after 4 rounds. I took my losses and called it a day, losing just under $3 US currency. I enjoyed my visit and next time I will invest more $ and time. :-)

Go thru the ped west stuff, you will come out to a small plaza with cabs , walk east to the Hostel California ( bright yellow ). Then turn right. ( south ) on a busy street ( Jose Lacquarrro??). Then walk south to a large parking structure. The sports book is about at the E in the ' Easy Park ' parking sign. The sports book is about 25 yards north of the new Easy Park parking structure , but on a small street that you need to walk down to from the Main Street.

There used to be TWO tables running--one 8-16 and another 4-8--giving players options and keeping the game alive. It felt like management actually cared about all poker players, not just the no-limit crowd. Now? Omaha is basically gone. They've cut it down to a single table, and even that feels like an afterthought. You'll see a waiting list 13-16 names deep, and instead of doing the obvious thing--opening another table--they just let it sit there. Players wait forever, get frustrated, and eventually leave. And I guess that's the goal, because it sure feels like they'd rather not spread Omaha at all. It's honestly insulting to the players who supported that game for years. There's clearly demand, but management chooses to ignore it in favor of squeezing in another no-limit table or something else. At this point, it looks like they've quietly killed Omaha without actually admitting it. If you're an Omaha player, don't waste your time coming here expecting a game. You'll spend more time on a waiting list than actually playing--if the game even runs at all. Really disappointing to see how far this has fallen.

I was sitting two seats away from her, and two casino attendants were standing nearby, waiting for her to return. Out of curiosity, I approached the attendants to see what was happening and asked, "How much did she win?" smiling. The Latina girl turned around with a dirty look, , and the other, with long black hair tied up, responded with a stern face, "We don't disclose the amount," rudely and disrespectfully. Does she know how to say politely, kindly, "Sorry, ma'am, we don't disclose the amount"? Politely with respect? I am a regular customer who has been coming here for years and spends a lot of money. Her rude attitude is not acceptable in this kind of business. This isn't about policy; it's about mannerisms toward customers, which are unprofessional and unacceptable! This is a place where people come to enjoy and be entertained. Her nasty attitude needs to be corrected and trained. I reported this issue to their manager, who seems to be a distinguished African gentleman with glasses, and I hope he takes this matter seriously, reports it to management, and corrects this kind of disrespect and rudeness in this casino.

The floating river is a nice touch to this hotel, but the way they didn't explain the details to us of how to get into the pool area without wristbands at check-in was also really annoying. We had to wait in line at the front desk AGAIN, which took a long time to receive the passes we needed in order to get to the pool. Overall, we had a lot of misses this time at this property, but maybe it'll be better next time.

It's located one block west of the Walmart MacroPlaza which is on on Highway 1, I think the street is Calle Hierro (its the street at the south of the Walmart). It's the biggest building around and surrounded by fields. One of the managers says the building is about 5 years old, but there is still not much around it. Valet parking, or you can self-park on the right side. Thru the metal detector you go to enter. Nice and cool inside of course, and pleasantly dark. You get your free player's card at the counter left of the entrance and around you should wander. At the front you are greeted by a roulette table and some card tables. Slot machines are behind and on either side. The main room is smoke free, and there is a smokers section at the back. Even back there were few smokers and the AC works well to whisk away the smoke so it is hardly noticeable. In the back room are more slot machines and the sports betting section, with multiple TV screens. Comfortable big black leather chairs to rest and watch the TV's, which are very comfortable. Plenty of friendly young staff to assist you with gambling, drinks or whatever. Cute young ladies, haha. Nice cold beers for about $2.00, from the bottle or poured in a glass. Bottled water if you don't want coffee or a cocktail. The slots are 2 cents, 3 cents, 5 cents, 10 cents and probably higher. Some of the machines are the multiple game machines where you choose your favorite from 20 or so games. This is the first time I have seen the electronic player's cards which are scanned by your slot machine to upload or download your virtual money you load on the card. The black leather office chairs are cool. I liked this casino and will be back. This time was just a quick stop to check it out on the way to the great big beach they have on the south side of town. The older San Nicolas Hotel and Casino is in Zona Centro on First Street (Avenida Lopez Mateos). That one also has a hot red Caliente Casino sign, so I assume they are related.
