Came for Disney on Ice at 11am on a saturday-…read more Finding tickets was a little confusing, not sure if there's a way to buy them besides a third party site which I don't normally prefer to do, but this time worked out using Stubhub, I presume bc it was not a super popular time to go to this event and it had multiple shows. Two tickets in the terrace 16 section cost about $75 with taxes and fees. I also prepaid for parking online to save $10, but I thought $30 was a little steep for the lot, come to learn there's the possibility of free street parking in the area as well. Inside the arena was fine, a bit vintage but did the job. Seats were easy enough to find but it would be cool to have some direction on where to park for your section as we ended up on the other side but it wasn't too bad of a walk and I parked near an exit for an easy way to get out. All in all I would come back here for an event but would try to figure out how to park on the street.

Also, it was a little hilarious how 70% attendees appeared to be wearing the white and blue. Food is decent. Unlike Crypto Arena's lazy build-your-own nachos, there's effort and flavor with Petco Park's nachos. Also, I appreciated how the Souvenir Cups had unlimited refills on day of purchase. Petco Park also had a really chill family atmosphere vibe. The decor reminded me of Knotts Berry Farm with all the brown and wooden beams. My family and I didn't even have to pay for parking since we just downloaded the PRONTO app to use the San Diego Trolley fare system; we just rode a trolley over. We'd found a nearby hotel that was literally a one minute walk from a trolley stop. Overall, my family and I had a great time at Petco Park. Although we'd unfortunately visited on a day the Dodgers had lost, the memory was still fun. I hadn't been in a couple years, but last week my husband and I went to see The Human Leave, Soft Cell, and Alison Moyet (Yaz). It was an incredible show. Starting out, there are a few things that I dislike about the venue. First, because it is on a college campus, parking can be difficult and you are basically forced into the $30 paid parking garage. Also, I was suffering from a recent sports injury, making the trek across campus to the theater a bit of a task. In the past, the lines for swag and drinks have been nearly impossible, though, this time, they were much improved. Finally, the trek to the ladies' room is a bit far depending on your seat. Also, it is not a large restroom and the line goes slowly, However, it is clean. On the flip side, there are a lot of positive points to this venue. The location is generally decent as it is not far from town. Despite the crowds coming in for shows, it doesn't take too long to get in and out of the parking lots. The event staff consists of many college students working concessions or ushering, and they are very friendly. It is really a nice, open, outdoor, relaxing venue. There is not a bad seat in the house (as many other reviews state). I have been in front, in back, and in the middle. I have been able to see and hear the show very well from each of my seats. It has also been my experience that the crowd has been generally a well-behaved, polite group, though I guess you can't alway count on that. All in all, it is a great place to catch a show, especially during the beautiful San Diego summer months.
