    Dodgers!!!!

Great Park not a bad seat in the entire stadium. Traffic is ridiculous. Do not even try and park within a mile of this park. I or we usually take the trolley in from old town or park at old town or Santa Fe depot and take the trolley and take the mass transit because traffic is horrific. Beer prices, food, prices, snack prices peanut prices, are ridiculously high well like any other Park. Other than that go Dodgers!!

It's been yeeeeeaaaars since I've been to Petco Park to watch a Padres game! Getting here and back home was super convenient thanks to the trolley station being so close. It made the whole experience easy, fast, and inexpensive without having to worry about parking or traffic. The process of getting into the ballpark was smooth, and I really appreciate that we can bring in food and water. On top of that, the food options inside are awesome! Places like Hodad's and Coco Ichibanya really elevate the experience while watching a game. Petco Park is such a beautiful ballpark and I'll definitely be back again soon!

First time here for Dodgers v Padres last night. The park itself is nice but there were some issues. The tri tip nachos that many folks recommended were nasty ! They had that weird queso cheese not nacho cheese and whatever sauce was on them was no good, especially for $ 19 ! Also the restrooms were in need of attending the whole game - many seat cover dispensers empty from 3rd inning on and there was a lake in one of the family restrooms ! Not good

This was my first time seeing a Padres game at this stadium. I forgot how fun it was to watch a live game. Loved all the excitement from the crowd and did my share of screaming and cheering. I arrived early, so I had lots of time to check out the Hello Kitty merch at the Padres Team Store. Got a tote bag and plushie to add to my growing collection! I was impressed with the flow of security and ticket check. I had anticipated a never ending line that crawled slowly, but that wasn't the case at all. Even the food vendors were very quick and efficient. I look forward to attending more games in the future!

Concert for the cure! Pink was fabulous. Petco Park was my favorite stadium ever. The seats we had were mid tier pricing but the view was incredible!! Clean venue and the ambiance was incredible. I can't say enough about Cure bound!

We love Petco Park and the Padres! However, the food and drinks has gotten incredibly expensive. One beer was literally $20, and two hot dogs cost us $32, parking is $50. The traffic is incredibly bad, but we still keep coming out to support our Padres team!

From Padres games to epic concerts, this stadium is amazing! We love the views from every seat in the house.

LETS GO PADRES! LETS GO PADRES! LETS GO PADRES! Best Ballpark in the world! So many amazing food options and they are tapped into the local chefs and restaurants Every view is great (some better than others)

I mean, what's not to love about Petco Park? There's ample food options for fans, from healthy to not so healthy, and I love that they also have gluten-free options now too! The Padres scheme here are always a blast. This is also a concert venue and the actual stadium itself and also Gallagher Square. The staff at Petco Park is some of the best ever. The stadium itself is very well kept. Best ballpark in the USA.

Petco Park is the downtown home of the San Diego Padres, known for its unique design that incorporates the historic Western Metal Supply Co. building, breathtaking views of the San Diego skyline and bay, and a vibrant craft beer and food scene (check out craft row). Fun fact: I helped build this beautiful park (back in 2002-03). Not to be biased, but we truly have the finest park in the finest city in America! Love the unique design, amenities, food vendors and public areas like "Park at the Park" and Gallagher Square- they also have an open playground for kids, with a dog park, and viewing areas to watch the game! There isn't a bad seat at Petco due to its thoughtful design! The stadium offers excellent sightlines. My wife and I prefer any seating areas near the first baseline! That's our usual spot! If you're visiting San Diego, definitely catch a game and enjoy the finest team in the finest city in America! Let's go Padres!

Wow, we had a great night at Petco attending the 3rd game, on Sunday Night, of the Opening Day Series vs Detroit Tigers. The seats we had are in THE perfect location. The crowds all maintained good flow throughout the park, it was super busy and the food lines were stacked. There was a hold up at the Elite Security check in after the metal detector. That was the biggest hold up all night. Vendors in the park kept the lines moving very well. First, I got my fave Helmut Cup of Chocolate and Vanilla Soft Serve. There was no wait in this line. Then, my Husband got us 2 Board and Brew sandwiches: Turkey Club and Baja Club. They were both made very well and cut in half, perfectly. Tasted great and packaging was on point. The fountain drink refill machine was messed up. We were selecting Coke Zero, but Rootbeer/MrPibb was coming out. Very dangerous if someone is diabetic or on keto trying to avoid sugar. They seem to have gotten the carbonated soda tank lines mixed up. Later, I got a "Ballpark Nachos" and it was OK. Next time I will get the Tri tip Nachos at Grand Ole BBQ. The GAME WAS WONDERFUL, we Won! After the game there were Padres fireworks. IT WAS AMAZING! Crowd and traffic control was great, all by SDPD Special Event Traffic Control and SDPD Officers. I felt very safe coming to this game. Thanks SDPD and Padres!

Always a great time. Especially when it's free99! Luckily it was the Padres's first win of the season. Such a fun vibe. Fireworks after the game was amazing. Take me out to the ballgame, take me out to the crowd. Definitely worth the visit even with the crazy pricing for parking. Priceless.

Ask the Community - Petco Park

Are there any chairs in the Gallagher Square General Admission area or is it standing only? I'm old and don't want to stand for an entire concert!

There aren't chairs but in the back of the grass area there are long concrete benches. First come first serve basis

I accidentally purchase a wheel chair disability ticket for a concert, will they still let me in?

    Yes

For concerts in Gallagher Square (not the baseball diamond), does anyone know if there is disability seating available? I can't find on their website.

It's hit or miss depending on how popular the concert is as space is limited.

How strict is their bag policy. It says single pocket 7"x10" bag is allowed. Will they reject a small fanny pack with two zippers?

Fanny Packs are on the approved list.

Do you accept Apply pay inside the park for food etc...?

    They do :)

Concert at Gallagher square details? Is there a lot of room for dancing?

NO !!! It gets very packed

If I have a kids wagon (not a stroller) that I'm using to get around downtown can I bring it with me into Petco Park?

    Helllzzzz noooooooo

A charge for drinks at Petco took 3 weeks to post on my Debit card. I thought it was fraudulent. Anyone else have this issue of an extremely delayed charge posting on your card?

Never. Usually 24 to 48 hours to post. Might depend on the vendor?

Is Park at the Park accessible from the Upper Pavillion?

Yes. Park at the Park is accessible from anywhere in the ballyard. Walk around! Explore the entire park. It's awesome.

    Are pets allowed? Thanks…

On certain game days. They do a couple games per year called "Dog Days of Summer" when dogs are welcome.

Best place to find parking around the Petco Park?

We park in the Padres Parkade which is just a short walk to the ballpark. We have season tickets so we get a discounted rate to park here. You can park anywhere downtown and take FRED (The Free Ride) for free to the ballpark and back to your car for… Read more

    Is there free motorcycle parking?

It's downtown San Diego.... nothing is free

Are there beer carts at Park At The Park? Or, at least, access to the beer carts inside?

Lots of beee options throughout the park

Do I have to get carded every time I buy a beer?

Not every time. Once is all they need

This garden is cared for by a team of dedicated volunteers and it is a testament to their expertise and skill that this garden looks as spectacular as it does. The trail followed a dry creek bed with plenty of small flat rocks as opposed to a smooth dirt path. With gentle sloping, it was friendly for pets and children so families who live nearby are fortunate to have this natural amenity for leisure or exercise. The temperature gradient was rather dramatic on the day of my hike. The trough areas were noticeably cooler by several degrees compared to the more elevated portions like at the trailhead. Half the tennis court nets are broken at the top tape part, often allowing the ball to pass through even though it should have gone into the net. Finally, the hours that the courts are unlocked for the public are terrible as well, during business hours on weekdays and closed on the weekends.
