I have mixed feelings about this stadium. Is it a beautiful stadium? Absolutely! However there are some major cons that being down the review. Pros: It's a stunningly beautiful stadium. Even from the front row in any section, you are elevated about 10 feet. Meaning you won't be blocked by anyone on the field and you'll be able to see a lot of the field. Cons: First are the seats. Yes they are elevated. However they are traditional bleacher seats with zero back support. Which is fun if you're like me and want to stand the whole time. However if you're elderly and want back support, you won't get any. Next the stairs are extremely steep to get to the seats. Also speaking of stairs, this place is basically a city of stairs. So many stairs and not ada friendly. Parking is rough. They have one small structure right next to the stadium. If you get that structure, awesome! However if you don't then you will need to park down the street a bit. It's not a far walk but about .5 miles. Overall the stadium is beautiful and the staff is super friendly. However it was frustrating that I had to park super far, climb about 40-50 stairs, and find 0 bathrooms here other than Porto potties.

We watched a series of PLL games at this stadium and it's such a great stadium! Parking is all relatively close. There are truly no bad views. Only down fall was the far side has no bathrooms and the food options were limited and they ran out of beer BUT that was a PLL thing not a Torero thing. Definitely a great stadium.

The great sport that is spreading over San Diego and the many cities here in Calif is having their own teams..

for a person that has been to many sporting and the many baseball games yet there is one that uses the whole body in the area of kick and forward passing it's not like football you get more action and the more contact sports yet there is more respect that is shown on the field when you have that high intensity game. Ine the many countries that I have seen Rugby. Played it is one sport that kicks can be very fast and the high action and the fans that take part in the action. Like football they have certain teams is they have the players and the those that have made the goals with rugby the sport is no pads, and the hits can be very hard and full on like American football they call penalty. With the many areas of Rugby, it has been around for many years it has strong following in Europe and the areas of the UK and the country Australia and New Zeeland the strongest comes from Samoa. With the many sports that have come to San Diego there has been one of the Greatest being the international women's soccer League, and with the Introduction of Lacross which has been one of the strongest sports in the UK and the many countries of Britain and Ireland just like golf, but you hold and catch they can hurl that small ball at speeds of up to 70mphs. With the best location of Torreros stadium, it's just the size of the many sized stadiums they have in Europe where the fans pack the stands, and you can see the coaches yelling as the ball gets passed around. It's one sport that if you have older kids that is a great sport, they can learn ball passing and the round huddle as they move ball down the field. Torreros Stadium is going to be the place to have some of the big sports with Field hockey is branching to both side boys and girls no has the sport of Rugby reached to both sides. The great people that I had met at the Gaslamp Holiday bash they were very helpful getting people signed up and letting people know about the events and the schedules. They were two people that represented the team and the sport great work to you ladies and Happy Holidays. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer, the many sports that I have seen the one that has caught the eye of so many is rugby sport fast paced and the game of respect and Temen ship. The sport which is now recruiting many for both man and women teams is open to both sides. Yes, the sports world is changing and the many great sports coming here to San Diego are bringing new and different types get ready. Happy Holidays to and all.

We went to see the game opener of the San Diego "Wave" Women's Pro Soccer Team last night! It was amazing! We won 4-0 and those scores came from the star Alex Morgan! She is amazing!!!! Nice stadium and great seating! Check them out and support a new Pro Team in San Diego!!!

It is no surprise that The University of San Diego appeals to so many college students. The gorgeous campus has a great location close to downtown, Old town, Mission Beach, Sea World and the world famous San Diego Zoo. The competition to get in is fierce, and the brightest students who are fortunate enough to get accepted are rewarded with a great education at a breathtakingly gorgeous university. Torero Stadium, located on the USD campus is home to the USD football team as well as the SD Legion rugby team. I had a lovely day at Torero Stadium watching SD Legion in the Pro Rugby playoffs. In early June there was not a cloud in the sky and we selected seats near the goal posts. From our seats we had an extraordinary view. I loved the architecture of the buildings behind the stadium with ornate details along the roof and even a cross at the very top. I did not mind the bench seating which makes it easier to mingle without fixed seat assignments. It was a bright sunny day and I did not get overheated, however I would recommend a brimmed hat, light, thin sun protective clothing and a lot of water. There were a few food vendors and a beer garden that also sells wine and snacks. At halftime the line was huge and they were able to serve everyone with impressive speed. I will certainly be back to Torero Stadium for another sporting event soon.

I'd never been to Torero stadium before or the San Diego University (SDU) campus on which it's located. The campus was beautiful. Elegant and stately, with pillars, high-beamed ceilings, and lots of green space. I went there for a rugby game, SD Legion vs. Seattle SeaWolves. The stadium has most of its seating lengthwise and has a small VIP section, made up of four "boxes" 3/4 up the South-facing side of the bleachers. The bleachers are metal slats. It rained that morning, I should have brought a towel to dry my seat. I was really fortunate that a stranger took pity on me and was kind enough to lend me a towel. The seats don't have backing and the benches are a bit close to one another, but the stadium was only about 65% full, so I could rest my feet ahead of me and was even able to move to the front row for a direct view of the field. I was so impressed by the rugby. I had seen it played at the high school level, but rugby at the national level is another animal entirely. The sport was like ballet, chearleading and football all wrapped into one. The plays straddled the line of being almost comically unusual and simultaneously efficient and intelligent. I saw rugby balls tossed into the air and caught by 6+ foot players launched atop a pyramid to catch the ball securely and gracefully at 25 feet above the ground. I saw men huddled, buts in the air, forming a table-top formation, corralled and guided forward, pushed up against the opposing team, trying to advance their position by a few inches, the ball pushed through the hollow formation to the back, to be picked up again and put into play. I saw men throwing themselves ontop of one another while people from the same side would crouch over their teammates to protect them. Perhaps the most surprising part of this game was the constant utter danger the players seemed to be in, while sporting no protective equipment, save a thin, padded helmet with no outer casing! The game was beautiful, entertaining and a feat of raw human strength. Standing next to the players, at game's end, when spectators were allowed to gather on the field, I felt dwarfed, only then really comprehending how tall (one of the players was 6'8"!) the players are. Such a fun and entertaining experience. I love that this stadium hosts rugby games. It's a great venue for this sport. The open-seating really gives spectators a chance to get close and feel like they're in the game. I was able to attend through a Yelp event, and am so grateful for what turned out to be a richly entertaining learning experience!

A beautiful stadium that was very week kept. The entire USD campus was immaculate and super clean, so clean it all looked brand new. My husband, my 3 year old toddler, and myself came for our first SD Legion Rugby game. This stadium was the perfect setting for a beautiful sunny San Diego game. The ocean breeze kept the aluminum bleachers cool and the open seating was nice as you could pick and move seats. Particularly if you have a loud super fan heckler. The parking was free, on the weekends which was a nice bonus. They sold beer and wine. They had traditional game food located indoors and amazing food vendors outside, such as Doggo hot dogs. The only complaint I have is the long lines for the food that took forever to get through. Other than that we are definitely huge SD Legion fans and plan on attending every home game!!

The faucets appear to be automatic but there's a chrome button (that doesn't look like a button) that you press down to get the ball rollin. There's only 1 paper towel dispenser at the very end of the restrooms. It's kind of weird, but I'm thinking it's a conservation thing and a way to encourage everyone to utilize the many hand dryers. I also like that they have recycle bins all around the arena. Oh, and note to selfie takers -- this is not your selfie type of bathroom haha Parking is tight in the garage down the hill, but the green and red lights (and blue for handicap) above the spots is pretty cool and helps you find an open spot quickly.

There is free filtered water. It was a bit odd when my friends brought me a gift bag with knee pads, that they said no gift bags of any kind were allowed. It seemed odd as I thought children had roller skating birthday parties at places like this. At least they let us take out the knee pads and carry in the empty bag. Anyway, the space wasn't too crowded on Sunday, so it was easy to practice. I also rented one of those little wheeled walkers so I didn't fall all over the place. Review: The Jury Experience - Death by AI…read more I'll be honest: when I first walked into the Peace and Justice Theatre for The Jury Experience: Death by AI, I thought I'd accidentally stepped into a 1980s dinner theater set. The opening had a definite "cheesy retro" vibe--think overly dramatic lighting, a slightly hammy introduction, and a tone that felt more like a Saturday morning mystery special than a high-stakes legal drama. I was braced for a night of campy fun, but what I got was something much more profound. Once the "Moral Dilemma" actually began, the kitsch melted away. The transition from the lighthearted intro to the core of the show--an investigation into a fatal driverless car accident--was seamless and surprisingly gripping. The Experience: Interactive Justice This isn't a show where you just sit in the dark and clap. As a member of the "jury," you are constantly engaged. The interactive elements are the real star here: Real-Time Voting: Using your phone or a remote to vote during key moments feels high-stakes. You can actually see the "hidden angles" of the case reveal themselves based on the room's collective choices. Live Testimony: The evidence is presented with enough nuance that there is no "correct" answer. Was it the programmer's code? The passenger's lack of intervention? Or the machine's inherent logic? The Social Experiment The most fascinating part of the night wasn't the script--it was the people sitting next to me. The show does an incredible job of exposing the friction between law and emotion. In our session, it became clear very quickly that while some of us were trying to follow the "letter of the law," a huge portion of the room was judging based on gut instinct and emotional empathy. Watching the live data shift as people changed their minds (or dug their heels in) was a social experiment in its own right. The Verdict: By the end of the 60 minutes, the room was buzzing. It's the kind of experience that makes you look at your friends and realize you have completely different definitions of "fairness." Final Thoughts Don't let the initial "cheesy" energy fool you. The Jury Experience is a sharp, modern look at the ethics of AI that forces you to confront your own biases. If you enjoy debating ethics over a drink after a show, this is tailor-made for you.
