I almost died from a heart attack and immediately went into seizures. I made it to the office where they called 911 who got an ambulance but took a long time and brushed the men off who had tried to rob me and kidnap me. The police laughed them off while I was in seizures and passing out- it was shameful. I'm embarrassed to say that I trusted them when they came towards me to offer me food they'd cooked. I'm currently in my car (unfortunately) and usually the OB vibe is peaceful and kind so I made the mistake of eating what they gave me. It was not a recreational drug, it was very serious and almost killed me. It was terrible. Now, I don't feel safe in OB because the police did nothing. When I got discharged from the ER too early for my heart condition after that, I was blamed, of course. The police should have arrested them for poisoning me and attempted robbery. But, when I went to get my car, they were still parked there. It happened at lunch but they feel confident with the police being kind to them to stay there. I'm attatching the only photo I have because someone blocked me from getting their back license plate. The men: 1 white and 1 black in overalls, in their 40's, cooking in the back of their truck on the grass with beach chairs and a woman named Saffron. All of them were aware that they were drugging me and it was an organized criminal attempt. Not only do I not feel safe knowing they're still around but they can still target other women and children. They are charming and come off as compassionate and considerate, feeding off other people's vulnerability. I know I made a mistake to take their offer but I never will do that again. Please do something if you see them around or hurting someone else (or, me!). It's a very serious situation and I'm very upset, concerned, and still not feeling well from the drug they gave me. The ambulance attendant gave me something to keep me from having a complete heart attack but the hospital let me go too early. However, she saved my life by doing that. What is up with the cops letting women be assaulted and doing nothing about it?! I'm pretty angry and it was degrading and demeaning to experience that and for them to act like I was at fault while these men watched on, laughing because the pigs were laughing at me while I was trying to stay alive from seizures. I was so grateful the ambulance made the police leave but they had no concern for anyone's safety. I don't even think those men are from OB, they are there to be predators. Steer clear of them and tell others if you see them around. I don't want this to be my first post in this group but the neighborhood should really take this seriously and perpetrators like them shouldn't be allowed. The children are of concern and this could have been a trafficking situation. Well, I survived and I thought I was going to die yesterday from their cruel intentions. But, I was mistreated by so-called authorities and humiliated while I was having a severe medical crisis and having been targeted. I am disappointed the Robb Field office didn't do anything about them, either because they give tickets to peaceful people who just need a place to rest but are allowing hard drugs and assaults to happen and giving those criminals a place to safely attack others. I definitely will not be going there again but I am disappointed because it's beautiful there and I don't think this should be allowed or tolerated at all. Please don't accept food, drinks or smoke from anyone you haven't known or who tries to convince you and charm you. I'm embarrassed I fell for that and trusted them, but I made a mistake and that still should not have happened to me or anyone. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Don't trust them. They shouldn't be in OB or anyplace where they can intend on taking advantage of unsuspecting people!!!

I usually will receive an email before a game outlining the features and details of visiting Petco Park that will make your experience more enjoyable. From Security, to the food vendors, to the shopping employees and to the Ushers all look like they enjoy working at Petco Park. There are tours of Petco Park that are offered on the website. Pretty interesting to see the innards of the park. Quite an exciting atmosphere when the home team is in town. When the baseball season ends, Petco Park transforms into a music concert venue, a Professional Rodeo, to monster trucks, to a rugby stadium and to a golf course. A little disappointed at this event. It didnt cater much to our culture. It seemed more like a park event. Ive been to a few Cultural Festival and i have experienced and learned about the chamorro culture, vietnamese, mexican, chinese culture etc. Versus this event -- they didnt have the filipino flags, parole, halo-halo, filipino songs, games, bamboo, Big Spoon or Fork LOL. They had a lot of cool performances that was fun. They had a huge stage and should of had a game show like on TFC or WOWOWEE. My friend and i plan to have the halo halo stand next year to feel more like home. They had a good amount of food choices from other places. there was only one station serving pancit and loompya. Manila Sunset, seafood city or tita's kitchenette should have been there as sponsor to support or sell their food. I hope next year it will be better. I look forward to the National City one.

The theme was "The Light of India"…read more Since it was my 1st time there, I didn't realize the program would be held entirely outside but I immediately felt the warmth, sincerity and joy in the atmosphere. I enjoyed watching the performances and learning about the wisdom teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda from a PPT presentation by his disciples and devotees who are carrying on his work and legacy. I found out there are numerous activities throughout the week and of course, Sunday services. I definitely recommend it to the Yelp Community :-)

We went on a Saturday morning around 11am and we ended up getting one of the last few spots on the far end of the second parking lot...10-minute walk to the main Boardwalk area. They have two soft toss areas, pitching area and weight area And a hitting a tracks area and just stay getting machine area only tried the two hitting machines will do more next time and send out a review. Little on the pricey side but well worth it at least so far. The owner was extremely nice friendly and kind to help me out. Or. We.

We had a great experience as a Little League team at The Clubhouse…read more The facility has several cages, including a cage for pitching/defense and two machine pitch (one with a Hit Trax system that the boys loved!). There are also two soft toss cages and a nice outdoor space for tee work or more soft toss. Finally, there is a setup with some nice gym equipment. Our kids enjoyed running on the treadmills, the rowing machines, and getting on the bench press. The setup is really streightforward--reserving times and setting up stations is simple and effective. All from your phone, and without the need for any interaction with employees. The Clubhouse is such a clean, welcoming, professional environment. My 11 year old son and I had planned to be at The Clubhouse from 5:30-7. We would up staying for two more hours and putting in a couple hundred more swings on the soft toss cage, and watching baseball together on the big screen in the lobby. It's a great spot for connecting with and coaching your kid, and we will definitely be back.
