Not to mention the the historic 2009 World Series champions set Parkview on the map. It's a family friendly environment. The coaches are all volunteers and do a wonderful job teaching & mentoring the kids. The Parkview staff do an exceptional job maintaining the baseball fields for our kids. Just wish a generous donor can pay for some much needed remodeling on the grounds, add more turf and make a pavilion over the snack bar. All in all, Parkview Little League is the finest baseball league in Chula Vista.

I wore my standby favorite 2024 San Diego Padres Filipino Heritage jersey. I remember when Petco Park was still in their construction phase and our group was given a private tour. In the Air Force, we had a nonprofit group, The Top Three, which raised funds for morale, etc for our squadron. We had contracts with other venues to do volunteer work in their concession stands and reap 10% of total sales. Needless to say, we were able to raise a great deal of funds for the unit. We were hoping to broker a similar agreement with Petco Park. Since its official opening wasn't until 2004, our unit members willing to volunteer decreased so we never worked Petco's concession stands. I do recall that they had state of the art beverage delivery systems. I had gone to a company event at Petco in 2005. My mom & dad were able to go and were just so excited. My dad proudly wore his Padres baseball cap, t-shirt, and was ready to cheer on his favorite team. My mom said he could barely sleep the night before! It is such a fantastic and well structured stadium. Having the trolley nearby is so convenient and this stadium is such a great addition to downtown. The seats are comfortable and the electronic displays and screens make it easy for visual reference & entertaining. It's truly a great home base for the San Diego Padres.

I'd fully recommend trolleying here, we parked our cars from Little Italy and made our way down in about 10 minutes. The area itself, since it is downtown has a bigger popular for homeless people. My boyfriend took me here to see a game, tickets online were ranging from $40-$80. We got pretty good seats for the cheapest. The vibes were great, people wearing their padres gear, and there were multiple food and drink vendors available as well. Highly recommend booking a ticket for the Padres Game, it's something you can't miss if you're in San Diego and enjoy baseball!

When we parked, we noticed that there was a wonderful memorial day tribute that was a replica of a national cemetery. The gentleman who was there was also a veteran. He had names of those who had fallen and where they were from in California. There were names of fallen heroes from San Diego, Chula Vista, Orange County, Lomita, and Los Angeles, etc. Along the walkway, there were many vendors, and of course, the kissing statue from World War I was very popular. There were so many tourist and visitors at the kissing statue as well as on the USS Midway. The walkway is pretty long and it's really good to get on there and try to enjoy all of the sites. You can see the waterfront, many vendors, restaurants. One of the great tributes that I like is the USS San Diego Memorial monument. This whole walkway is super necessary so that we show honor to those who have fallen. To the south, it leads to Seaport Village, which is great. To the north, if you go in the other direction, it leads to the Embarcadero, where all of our ships come to Port.

It's a beautiful walk that provides views of the harbor, docks and Coronado Island. Many locals and tourists come here everyday! The pathway also leads you to The Rady Shell, Seaport Village and Tuna Harbor. It's a very doable walk and a massive recommend from me for anyone visiting the area. Embarcadero is one of the most scenic parts of SD and is one of my favorite areas EVER. If you're staying in Downtown it's super close and many Ubers and cyclists can get you here quickly. Parking is limited as this is obviously a popular destination but it's well worth it.

It's also directly across from the Gaylord Hotel, which makes it super convenient. There's usually an ice cream truck parked nearby, which sounds great... until you get the bill. I paid $10 for two ice cream sandwiches--like, damn, a whole box costs less than that! So maybe pack your own treats if you're coming with kids. That said, it's a cute little park and a great place for the kids to burn off some energy. Definitely worth a visit!

At this snack shop they have various cheap priced snacks and food items, as well as desserts and drinks, Usually he gets a Gatorade for 2 dollars and a pretzel with cheese for $1, His favorite item there is the cheese quesadilla and super nachos with chili, sour cream, salsa, and pickled jalapeños. Overall a great place to pick a snack up for you, and your kids, during the game for a pick me up, after a win, or even during the weekend while in the park.

People need to be aware of this truck and who's in it. Yesterday, I was at Robb Field, where I was…read moredrugged by the people from this truck and they weren't cited or arrested or anything. I almost died from a heart attack and immediately went into seizures. I made it to the office where they called 911 who got an ambulance but took a long time and brushed the men off who had tried to rob me and kidnap me. The police laughed them off while I was in seizures and passing out- it was shameful. I'm embarrassed to say that I trusted them when they came towards me to offer me food they'd cooked. I'm currently in my car (unfortunately) and usually the OB vibe is peaceful and kind so I made the mistake of eating what they gave me. It was not a recreational drug, it was very serious and almost killed me. It was terrible. Now, I don't feel safe in OB because the police did nothing. When I got discharged from the ER too early for my heart condition after that, I was blamed, of course. The police should have arrested them for poisoning me and attempted robbery. But, when I went to get my car, they were still parked there. It happened at lunch but they feel confident with the police being kind to them to stay there. I'm attatching the only photo I have because someone blocked me from getting their back license plate. The men: 1 white and 1 black in overalls, in their 40's, cooking in the back of their truck on the grass with beach chairs and a woman named Saffron. All of them were aware that they were drugging me and it was an organized criminal attempt. Not only do I not feel safe knowing they're still around but they can still target other women and children. They are charming and come off as compassionate and considerate, feeding off other people's vulnerability. I know I made a mistake to take their offer but I never will do that again. Please do something if you see them around or hurting someone else (or, me!). It's a very serious situation and I'm very upset, concerned, and still not feeling well from the drug they gave me. The ambulance attendant gave me something to keep me from having a complete heart attack but the hospital let me go too early. However, she saved my life by doing that. What is up with the cops letting women be assaulted and doing nothing about it?! I'm pretty angry and it was degrading and demeaning to experience that and for them to act like I was at fault while these men watched on, laughing because the pigs were laughing at me while I was trying to stay alive from seizures. I was so grateful the ambulance made the police leave but they had no concern for anyone's safety. I don't even think those men are from OB, they are there to be predators. Steer clear of them and tell others if you see them around. I don't want this to be my first post in this group but the neighborhood should really take this seriously and perpetrators like them shouldn't be allowed. The children are of concern and this could have been a trafficking situation. Well, I survived and I thought I was going to die yesterday from their cruel intentions. But, I was mistreated by so-called authorities and humiliated while I was having a severe medical crisis and having been targeted. I am disappointed the Robb Field office didn't do anything about them, either because they give tickets to peaceful people who just need a place to rest but are allowing hard drugs and assaults to happen and giving those criminals a place to safely attack others. I definitely will not be going there again but I am disappointed because it's beautiful there and I don't think this should be allowed or tolerated at all. Please don't accept food, drinks or smoke from anyone you haven't known or who tries to convince you and charm you. I'm embarrassed I fell for that and trusted them, but I made a mistake and that still should not have happened to me or anyone. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Don't trust them. They shouldn't be in OB or anyplace where they can intend on taking advantage of unsuspecting people!!!
