I went back because I really wanted to try their Korean Fried chicken wings. If you've read my…read moreprevious review and then you know that I applaud Cloud Tea for providing different ethic cuisine (especially korean) here in the LITH, Algonquin, and CL area. I had no lunch plans and I knew exactly what I wanted for lunch. I arrive and the girl at the counter was having a bad day and I could tell. She avoided all any eye contact with me, she did not want to engage in any small talk and she was there to receive a pay check and that was that. Ok fine, I get it we all have bad days, just get me my food then. I ask her "how spicy is the spicy check wings?" So goes, "they are alright spicy." WTF, I'm giving a puzzling look and I'm not sure how to respond to that statement but whatever, I get it your cat died, your bf just broke up with you, your car insurance just went up 5%, sure I get it. I place an order for the spicy chicken wings and I wait. I take in the ambiance and it's a great place to chill and grab some bubble tea and lunch. I wait about ten mins and my wings are ready! When I walked up to get my wings I noticed there was some mochinut and I had to get some! I get three flavors, strawberry, taro, and green tea and then I head home to sample the food with my family. First up were the wings, they were scary looking but in a spicy kind of way. Was my stomach and whatever after comes after ready for these wings? I sure hope so! So I went in for my first bite and I was pleasantly surprised. The wings were super good! The flavoring and everything was fire, flame, hit the spot good. And the spice level was 'alright' (see what I did there?), it had a kick but nothing that my kids couldn't handle. My wife enjoyed the wings as well and she said they were good. I'm glad I stopped by and got the fried chicken wings to try because they were amazingly delicious and I'll be back for more. I finished off my lunch and tried some mochinut and they were good as well and you don't have any complaints from me on the food. The service on the other hand, get a new girl who wants to come to work and put on a smile. Like I said I understand we all have bad days but for me to write it in my review it must have been really bad. Great job on the food Cloud Tea. Happy to have you guys in the area and keep up the good food. You've earned your 4 start review.

We had a mango tea, pineapple smoothie, and some red bean teas and they were all delicious. The price is a little high, but lower than the one down the street. One note is that my 6-year-old didn't like the "tea" flavor in her drink, so if you're buying for kids, stick to the smoothie varieties.

Out of curiously I searched to see if there was one in the area and found Coco Rolls. Since we were on the town, we decided to stop in and check it out before they closed. First I will say that they are located in a strip mall, but in a part of it that makes it hard to find. We drove past it a couple of times before we realized they were in a nook on a courtyard area. You do have to look to find it as you will not see it from the road easily. Upon entering we found a fun little shop. There's not a lot of seating, but I feel like most of their customers are an order and go crowd. When we entered there were no other customers, we ordered our rolled ice cream and sat at the table they had to eat. While eating others came in, but ordered and left. I had the Oreo and Nutella rolls my lady had the caramel. Both were delicious. Overall, we were pleased. I wish they were closer to where we lived, but it will be a nice occasional visit. I can't comment on the Boba as we didn't order any, but maybe next time.

We need more retail in downtown Barrington, so we'll be back to support our local shops.

The request for a tip before the product was even made seemed a bit premature, and the sight of a messy workstation didn't inspire confidence. As we watched our treats being crafted, the lack of attention to cleanliness dampened our excitement. When we got the ice cream each looked very pretty and worth of a photo though when it came time to taste, my strawberry cheesecake creation had nonexistent flavor in the actual ice cream. With just a 1/4 of a strawberry mixed in, it left me feeling a bit shortchanged for the price. While I'm not closing the door on Cloud Tea just yet, our first visit didn't quite hit the sweet spot. Perhaps if they focus more on the taste and cleanliness and less on the visual of the product they could have a better shot.

I got the mango all the way with a tapioca add-on to accompany my donut. I'd never had a mango smoothie served in this manner before. It's rich and creamy, and I presume they incorporate it with condensed milk to achieve this thick texture. Mochi donuts are my favorite, even more so than conventional donuts.
