I never post anything like this... but I think everyone should know. DO NOT EVER go to Team Tech on Arsenal in Watertown, NY (or any other of their locations) The men that work there are the absolute worst!!!! They basically pretended to fix my daughters iPad, (TWICE) and it came home broken, twice with their knowledge of that. They had even admitted they knew it was broken and sent me home with it anyway. They have no problem arguing with you over the phone but when you walk in there they look at you like you have 5 heads and pretend to be oblivious to the problem. No one is capable of communicating whatsoever. One guy said I can't have a refund, the other guy said I can have a full refund and then they asked for my part back for the full refund after they said I can have the full refund without giving the part back- I'm not sure what kind of business is being ran when a place asks for the part back. Are they going to send you home with no part without presenting the part that you brought to them? Absolutely not because they don't have it anymore... The district Manager continued to yell at me and I mean YELL at the top of his lungs on the phone to me while calling me names like "crazy" and "insane", he was harassing me over the phone, because I'm asking for my money back because my daughters iPad is still broken and she isn't able to use it. I didn't know that's how businesses handled customers who were upset about paying $135 to not finish the job correctly. The "district manager", Mike. Went on to say I was threatening him because I told him what they are doing is illegal. Taking people's money and not doing the job, never providing the service they are advertising. I have records of me calling them for 2 weeks straight wondering when my iPad would be done. They held it there for about a month total, and it was never fixed correctly. I need my full refund so I can go and get it fixed from a more reliable business so my daughter can have her iPad to use. She is little and she uses it to watch movies and calm down with. I don't feel that offering a customer 1/2 of the refund is significant when you payed them to do their job and they failed, TWICE. And then they have the nerve to ask for it back again and if not they should take the part. It makes absolutely no sense. And honestly I would boycott them just from the way I was spoken to by MIKE the district manager... who feels it's okay to yell and scream at someone over the phone and call her names .... I know a good business when I see one and I know a crooked business when I see one. read more

The most horrifying experience. The man "Paul" who came to my home to repair a cracked iPhone screen burned a HOLE in my 2- week old BRAND NEW quartz countertop in our newly built home! He never said a word about using a hot air gun to repair my phone. He set this hot air gun on my 8- foot long island for 15 minutes. According to the quartz company this 8- foot piece of quartz can NOT be repaired and must be replaced. To make matters worse, the man who did the damage continues to hang up on my husband and I when we try to get more information. He claims that we didn't sign anything. He won't provide his last name. He just hangs up and says "Goodbye" as if he's a computer or robot. These are criminals and will get caught. This is considered vandalism and we are pursuing this legally. Please DO NOT TRUST these people!! read more

Unbelievable how incompetent these people are! Order the wrong parts TWICE! And just speaking to them make you feel like your talking to an elementary school child! What a terrible terrible company! Stay away FARRRRR away for your own sanity. read more

Horrible experience. They replaced my iPad screen and now the Smart Cover doesn't work. Instead of snapping shut, it repels from the screen (they installed the magnets backwards??). And auto-on auto-off feature doesn't work even if you force the cover shut. Just stays on and drains the battery. They left sharp metal edges on the case and the home button function (app switcher and Siri) now mysteriously actuate if you touch the new screen about an inch from the home button. The home button itself intermittently sticks (too much adhesive??). The guy at the counter said this was not his problem, and then he became belligerent. He said that the main thing was good, he fixed the screen. And if the other stuff doesn't work now, because he broke it, he said that's not a big deal. I suggested that we look at his repair manual together to find out what went wrong with his repair process. He laughed and said: "What manual? I don't have any manual, I just fix these things. And your thing is mainly fixed" They clearly don't know what they are doing. When I said that I expect him to bring my unit back to working order, as it was when I gave it to him, he said he didn't know what went wrong and that it isn't a big deal anyway. I told him that I intended to dispute the charge with the credit card company, and then he said: "Ok, then we will do this". He removed my iPad from the counter as if he were going to finally fix it, and he put it on a shelf behind him. He said he was confiscating my iPad until I accepted a credit card credit and instead paid cash, and he said that the 30 day warranty he promised would be zero warranty. He said that unless I agreed to that, he would keep my iPad. It took the police to bring him back from his tirade and return my iPad. Amazing that a mall store could be that bad. read more

Does not guarantee product will be in working order when done. Does not give you a receipt or record of your repair while item is with them, so when the transaction is complete but before payment, you have no record that they have your item at all. Will very literally scream at you when you get the item back and complain that other features are not working/damaged, because the item is old, even though this or any lack of liability was not discussed before attempting the repair. If you don't have much money, this may be a good option, but it is a gamble. They were well intentioned and affordable in the beginning, but the time-frame of the repair moved from one week to over a month with little contact and ended in an overall horrible experience. read more

I called the Erie Blvd store today and someone named Mike answered. I explained that I had droppped my IPad and the screen was shattered. Mike said that the screen was in stock and he could fix it right away. I dropped the pad off at 1:00 pm and returned at 3:15 to pick it up. He finished the repair 10 minutes later and I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. Mike was pleasant and informative and quoted me what I thought was a fair price and delivered on his commitment. I highly recommend this business! read more

They broke my computer! I brought in a working computer with a mechanical issue. When I called to check the status I was always told they needed to speak with the tech and they'd get back to me. They never did.I never received a call informing me whether it was issue they could fix, and if so what the cost would be, as I was told I would when I dropped it off. After four calls with no information I went in. They handed me my computer, now broken and useless, and said that while trying to fix it broke and that these things happen. I called Mike D. the district manager in hopes that he could right this situation. He threw around a couple of computer terms and a lot of "you know what I'm saying"s . He was unprofessional and no help. I do not recommend bringing any electronics to this place unless you are looking to recycle them. read more

Avoid this business at all costs! My son and I took his iPhone in for screen repair because I had purchased a voucher on BidOnSyracuse.com. We returned in 2 hours to pick up the phone . It had not been repaired because it was an iPhone 7. They did not have parts for it. There was also a problem in that they would not honor the full value of the voucher. After we left the store we realized that the phone would not work . The home button was broken . The phone had been fully functional when we dropped it off. We returned immediately. The technician and the owner both denied damaging the phone. They told us to bring it back the next week . Screen repair includes home button repair and that might fix the problem . The store owner was very rude and would not accept any responsibility . Rather than leave with a broken phone and no recourse , we called for police assistance . The owner shouted obscenities at me, calling me names and telling me repeatedly to "Get the f@$k out of my store". He followed me out of the store and continued to shout at me in the parking lot. He then got in a car and left. When the police officer arrived to assist us, the technician was polite , but was not able to help us. We were left with a broken phone and no recourse other than small claims court . I wish I had checked initially with the Better Business Bureau .
