We were in search of a new taekwondo place for my 4 year old daughter after a not so great experience with a different company. We did the 2 week trial prior to signing up. The first class my daughter was feeling a little shy and Master Thomas and Master Jason did such a good job of giving her space but also encouraging her to join. They let me come and sit on the mat until she felt comfortable. Master Jason was so engaging during class and really helped bring my daughter out of her shell. Each class has been very well organized with clear instruction and individual attention. The instructors do a great job at helping to keep the kids attention and focus while also making the class fun and silly at times. The entire studio is very clean including the bathrooms, which is always a plus. The seating are for family members to watch is nice and the studio has great AC for those hot summer days. My daughter has really enjoyed herself! We signed up for twice weekly classes and are very happy to be joining Team Kwon! read more

Brought my 5 year old here after seeing the reviews and it did not disappoint. The instructors here are top notch. They are very engaging and encouraging. Classes are so fun - they always switch up the routines and keep the kids interested. A year later I finally brought my 3 year old girl here. After the trial classes she is always asking to go back. Instructors are so patient with all the kids. My older one has a hard time focusing some times and they are always so observant and encouraging. Space is also bigger than most studios. We live closer to their other locations but make the trek here weekly bc they are that good! read more

We love it! Our kids are learning respect and discipline while having fun. The classes also help with their coordination skills. Thanks Team Kwon! read more

Hated this place. only good if your child fits the mold. The "taekwondo summer camp" is really just summer camp in a taekwondo studio. It has absolutely nothing to do with taekwondo. Probably works fine for childcare. No substance. No structure. Very disappointed. read more

What started as a trial period, Taekwondo is now a weekly activity for my little boy! He's enjoying it so much and building the confidence he needs. The teachers are supportive and incredibly patient with all the kids! It's so much fun seeing them enjoying this class every week! We can't recommend this class enough for little kiddos! read more

Great place for Taekwondo! My son and I have been practicing our Taekwondo about 5 years here. From zero knowledge about Taekwondo till now we both had achieved our 1st degree black belt and moving forward to our 2nd degree black belt. I see my son changing from skinny boy to a muscular preteen, he learns focusing, participating, discipline and self defense skills. For myself I had gained great experiences, I build more confidence, my reaction became faster, my body is healthier and flexible. Thru the family class we both engaged and bonding precious moments, we cherished the moments we earned our 1st degree black belt. No words can describe how thankful I am to Master Thomas, all masters, instructors there, they all very sincere, patient, putting efforts and support each of us. I highly recommend this place for the whole family. read more

This is such a great taekwondo place and our kids have been coming here for years now! All the instructors are very nice and understanding but also firm when need to be to enforce the discipline side of martial arts. My son has special needs and takes private classes while my daughter competes and does all the group classes and sparring classes. I've watched my kids grow and this place is not just a great place to keep our kids busy, but a place to teach them life skills and have a community they can depend on. So thankful for this place! Highly recommend for all your kiddoes! read more

We did a trial with them through our school and my son (4yo) loved the Little Ninja program so much we ended up signing him up. It's two classes/week, with a straightforward belt progression program and lots of opportunities for rewards. It's a little on the pricey side but it's month to month and we can cancel, whereas other programs wanted us to sign up for 6-12 months. read more

Team Kwon Orange is awesome for little kids. Our 4 year old son loves it! We did the 2 week trial to check it out and were so impressed with how the teachers keep the kids engaged and interested. They usually have 3-4 teachers for each class so there are enough of them to keep track of the kids when they start to wander or forget where to go. We also appreciate the mix of fun and gentle discipline they provide. The 35 minutes for little kids is just the right amount of time too. read more

We absolutely love Team Kwon TKD! Our 5 year old son tried the 2 week trial classes and really enjoyed it. We noticed immediately just how great all the teachers are with the kids. The student teacher ratio is pretty phenomenal. There has always been several instructors per class, often feeling like a semi-private lesson. Our son really loves it despite his hesitation initially to try something new. The place is also really clean, huge plus! read more

Team Kwon Tae Kwon Do Center - Orange - Shout out to Mr Sean! - Taekwondo Near Me - Orange, California

The best Tae Kwon Do studio ever!!! All the Masters and volunteers here are amazing people, super kind and friendly to the kids, but also firm enough to make the kids want to pay attention while having a great time learning and growing. We take our kids here all the time and they love it. Our son has special needs and they are able to help him with one-on-one private classes with individualistic exercises that help him grow physically and mentally. We've seen so much improvement and joy in his face over the months, and it's absolutely priceless. Our daughter has a great time as well, and her forms are improving every week. She's much stronger these days and can probably kick my butt now if she really wanted! Seriously though, she has grown so much in every aspect, and now she wants to get involved more beyond belt testing and competitions. Seeing this transformative growth in real-time with our kids while enrolled here brings tears to my eyes, and allows us to truly appreciate being parents and live the joy of having happy and healthy kids with great attitudes and bright futures ahead. read more

I first heard about Team Kwon through a friend, and I was looking for a physical activity that my son would enjoy. Since he's not into traditional sports like baseball or football, I thought this might be a good fit. It's only been a month, but my son already loves the studio. The instructors are fantastic and they provide clear, easy-to-follow guidance, and the atmosphere is welcoming. He's also connected well with the other kids there, which has made the experience even better. I'm so glad we discovered this place! read more

We found this place through a neighbor and decided to take the two week trial for my son. He was super shy and cried during this two week trial. But after being consistent and the effort from Master Thomas, my son felt welcomed and eventually he (my son) came to the conclusion that this is a safe place. Now, he is excited to go! I really like the self affirmation they are teaching at such a young age (little Ninja). Most importantly, I really like the discipline they practice. read more

Team Keon is the same as team awesome. My 2 sons enrolled in gymnastic a few years ago and initially liked it as they had an awesome coach. But I noticed once they changed coaches they lost their excitement as the other coaches weren't as encouraging especially the way they correct kids. Point is the coach or in the case of Team Know master makes a big difference in how much a child likes a sport. And master Thomas and his staff are very likeable. They have the ability to correct a child when needed but do in a way that the child doesn't feel uncomfortable something very difficult to do. And give plenty of encouragement along with that. I saw other taekwondo places around town but wouldn't dream of changing. I don't think any place around town is better. read more

Another 5 stars for Team Kwon. This time around, my son is in classes and enjoys them a lot. I can really see a difference in his confidence and enthusiasm. Thank you, Master Thomas and all the awesome Team Kwon instructors. read more

Our 3 year old absolutely loves coming to classes here with Master Thomas. Our son will literally ask at the end of class if he can come back again. He's just so excited to come back! Master Thomas is a very good and patient teacher. I know that it can't be easy to wrangle so many kids at the same time. You can tell that he loves what he does and is talented at it. I'm thrilled to see my son having an awesome time, while learning discipline, coordination, and social skills. He's getting some good exercise in, which hopefully translates to sleeping longer later! Thanks, Team Kwon! read more
