Cant speak highly enough about this place! My 3 year old son starred last fall and the growth I've seen in him is tremendous. He used to cry when class started (and the instructors were so great working with him and encouraging him to continue) and now he is a leader in the class and looks forward to it every week. It's been a transformation in terms of his listening and attitude, at home too. FMA teaches daily applicable skills like listening, kindness, empathy, and encouragement. They also teach kids what to do in emergencies and if strangers try to take them. It's so much more than martial arts. The instructors are patient but have high expectations (Ms Natalie is a boss, love her!) and Mr. Uzziel is the greatest teacher around. We signed our son up for Frazier Martial Arts a year ago. The progress between then and now is like night and day. When our son was a white and yellow belt, he had trouble with staying focused and taking the classes seriously. He's now an orange belt and he looks like he's been apart of FMA for years! I can't help but admire his growth. What really does it for me is that he now takes it seriously, but he also looks like he's having a lot of fun. He really wants to be a role model for the lower ranked kids. The instructors are great and provide much needed assistance with the moves. They're even patient with the adults as they offer adult courses as well. The instructors also give helpful advice on raising children at home. They also offer summer camps and boot camps (for testing), which we've found extremely helpful. We will be signing our 1 year old in a couple years as well. read more

Frazier Martial Arts is a great place for kids to learn karate. Their instructors are great at motivating the students and making learning fun while teaching them karate and life skills. I have seen such an improvement in my daughter in not only learning karate, but also in her learning self-control, disciple, and respect. The instructor's passion and desire to teach and improve the kids is very evident. Their testing and belt advancements are serious, yet attainable. They are very good at varying the learning activities from class to class and week to week to keep the kids interested and always they always inject fun into the learning methods. My son is a second degree black belt and my daughter is currently working on the same belt. While they are both very busy with high school now, we will always make time for a class during the week. FMA is one-of-kind. After over a year of karate classes, I am even more impressed with the instructors. The instructors here show up for every class EVERY SINGLE WEEK. It means something to kids when they see the same face each week and have continuity of the same instructors pour into their lives at each session. We came to Frazier Martial Arts towards the end of 2019 looking for a place our son could learn martial arts and the importance of discipline. Shortly after the doors were closed due to COVID restrictions. This didn't stop Ms. Natalie and her great staff... she kept the kids active in their martial arts training via zoom. Though the City of Orange you can take a kickboxing class, well I decided it was time to do something other than pay a gym membership that I won't use.. lol So it was 40$ for 4 weeks.. and I must say.. they seriously do some butt kicking.. she really makes the workouts fun and motivates you to push to the next level. They offer a special program for you when the program is done because they really want you to keep going if you enjoy it. I look forward to my kickboxing classes and call them my butt kicking classes cause by the time we are done.. im dragging myself back to my car.. thank goodness I only live around the corner :) read more

WATCH OUT! Bait and Switch tactics on contract issues then threaten credit reporting/collections! I signed up in January for what I thought was a 6 month contract...They RUSHED me through the signing process and signed me up for a 12 month contract (which I changed). I felt like they really needed the money to stay open and i felt bad that they only had a couple of clients in the class (now I know why). Nonetheless, the Lady who runs the shop "promised" to get me a new contract and said "we don't work that way" at the beginning. The training was sub-par/unorganized and I moved to a new gym that is much more organized in their approach. After I moved I called them to confirm that I was only going to be charged the 6 month term and they never called me back as promised. After numerous attempts, I was able to reach them and I was hung up on and finally got her to answer my questions.. I WAS GOING TO BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL 3 MONTHS? SHE CANNOT PROVIDE ME WITH UPDATED CONTRACT? SHE CANNOT GIVE ME BREAKDOWN OF PAYMENTS? SHE WILL REPORT ME TO CREDIT IF I DISPUTE THE CHARGE!
