Team Express - Sports Wear Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

Been blessed to have really good people to work with there. They've always treated me very respectful answered my questions and helped me out. I would recommend talking to them to get the questions answered you needed. We need the small shops to stay in place so I have a place to go to. I've always tried to support the Community with the small shops they do have a batting cage. read more

I've purchased from Team Express/ Baseball Express dozens of times over the years. Never an issue. I wish I had checked here (or better yet) their Facebook page before I placed a recent order. There are DOZENS, more likely HUNDREDS of pissed-off customers who have left RECENT reviews that should be read. They are basically taking customers money IMMEDIATELY and then NEVER SHIP out the products. If, on the rare occasion, someone answers the phone in 'Customer Service', they lie to you and tell you that they will ship your product or refund your money, but they don't. Everyone, don't take my word for it... read the 100 or so recent Facebook Team Express reviews (or) the few recent Yelp reviews. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE SCUMBAGS!! They are scamming EVERYONE!! I'm reporting them to the Texas & Missouri Attorney General's Office(s). They need to be shut down!! They were bought out a few months ago - not the same company anymore. Pure FRAUD!! read more

Terrible place to order things from! Ordered shoes for my son paid for overnight delivery and you guessed it they didn't arrive on time team express told me it's not their fault but fed ex fault whatever happened to doing what you said you were going to do? They won't refund me my money for shipping as they say it's not their responsibility. If you can get your stuff else where unless you like paying for bad customer service read more

LOTS of products, even though horrible navigation on the website, great prices, and fast shipping (if in stock), but if you EVER run into an issue, LOOKOUT! Worst customer service ever, both on the email and phone side. Hopefully you will never have to experience this. read more

Thought I would update this since it has been a while since I wrote the origional review and my most recent experience was back to perfect! Website seems to be all better. Placed an order last week, have it already in hand - no surprises. All is as it should be. Yes, it is that simple - So Play Ball! read more

I purchased some baseball pants for my son- need to return 1 that doesn't fit- I've been trying to contact them via email and get no responses...after 2 weeks I got a response and have responded to that one 3 times and they have gone dark again. BUYERS should look elsewhere- prices are good but service is awful- no way to return - no responses after almost 30 days read more

I wear a large in all shirts. their large is like an XXL in Addidas button down golf shirt. they want me to pay $9.99 to ex change., unfortunately not very cust service oriented. Small business like this will not be referred as that is 10% of total price. I will move onto Amazon ! read more

There is no "express" in team express. Placed an order OVER A MONTH AGO for an item that was allegedly "in stock"...I even paid for the expedited shipping, needing it in 2-5 days. 30+ days later and still no item. I will be taking my business elsewhere and telling everybody I know to do the same. Not worth the money you save when you don't get the item in a timely manner. Horrible way to run a business. read more

I wish ZERO or NEGATIVE was an option! AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS!!!! This company needs to be shut down. They are crooks! Ordered online 2 softball gloves on March 7th. They never shipped when they said they would...my kids need gloves for softball so I ordered elsewhere and tried to cancel my order with Team Express. Surprise surprise, there was absolutely no way to contact them or get through to them. Phones don't ring, or if they do no one will EVER answer, emails are not returned...you will get a "ticket number" but it means absolutely nothing. Today I was charged $43 for the gloves that I no longer need---no tracking number...will be shocked if they even come. I don't want or need these. PLEASE avoid! Believe me and all these other people below my review. Go to their FACEBOOK page (softball.com) and read all the complaints starting in March 2015. It does no good to leave a msg on FB...a guy may write you back, but he has no way to contact customer service or make any changes on orders; he is useless. read more

Seems to have real issues. Several calls while holding for over an hour have gone unanswered. Emails have gone unreturned. And this has been the case for several weeks if not more. It's so weird, they have been very strong in the past. Ordered something that was said to be in by middle of May, it has yet to ship and I can't get any confirmation on anything since I can't contact anyone. It just seems crazy to be going on so long. I'll update my review if something changes but for now long wait times, no email response and lack of info on product force a one star review. read more

I wrote to Team Express to give them a chance to correct their deceptive policies. I originally wanted to buy one pair of compression pants for my son. When I saw the code for free shipping over $99 and 15% off, I decided to expand my purchase to $141.00. When it came time to use the code, it would not work, stating all of the items in my basket were ineligible for the offer. What a colossal waste of time. I had never purchased from Team Express before and would be very hard pressed to ever try them again in the future. Here is what I wrote to them, and their response: --------------------------- Subject: Abandoning $141.00 order I am very disappointed to abandon my order. Code: JWX5TXH9 does not work. It was supposed to be for free shipping over $99 and 15% off. I was very excited about my selections; however, if you will not honor the offer, I am not purchasing. My first time purchasing online and did not go well. After placing order my item should be shipped within 6 days. 10 days later my order was still processing. Contacted customer service who said he would check with vendor but is off the next day so call in and someone will be able to assist me. The next day I get an email stating my order had been cancelled but no reason why. I called customer service and she said they had to cancel a lot of their orders because the vendor's products were delayed so that made them delayed as well. I expressed I understood but I really needed my item and it took over a week before I even heard anything so I probably won't do business with them again and she says, "Ok" as if she could care less. Not great customer service but I did receive my refund in 2 business days when she said it's 5-7 business days. read more

This is a total scam of a company. Placed an order for 2 baseball pants on 12/11/17 and shows 3 days to ship from factory. now it's 12/27 and Team express can't figure out where what or why. They have no direct contact with the company that they advertise their clothing for. Emails don't get returned. customers service reps don't follow up or return calls. Yet they charge your credit card day 1 and don't have a clue when your merchandise will ship. Yes, all these negative reviews can't be wrong. Stay far far away and look elsewhere for your team sports. read more

I ordered a bat for my son and received an email saying I would receive another email once the bat shipped. It's been 7 days and I haven't received an email and I've also called customer service multiple times only to receive NO answer. What a JOKE! People mentioned they had issues around Christmas time and that Team Express was making changes to their customer service program... looks like a big NOPE. Same old story. I'll be contacting my bank to classify this as fraud and get my money back. Losing customers left and right and apparently not caring much about it. I'll make sure nobody I know ever uses TE again. read more

This company was once a very good online provider of sporting goods and sports equipment. Over the past 6 months, their service and support has become non-existent. I ordered 3 items from them in April, still have not received one of the items and cannot get support to address the issue. Cannot get in touch with them on the phone, every time I call there are "44 callers ahead of me". Tried emailing them, a canned response is all that I have received. BUYER BEWARE - THIS IS NOT A COMPANY YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH read more

It's been 5 months after receiving the wrong items and the issue is still not resolved. Zero customer service, not friendly, terrible experience. They don't even respond to my emails. I have multiple emails admitting they are in the wrong, yet won't return my money, or give me the correct product. It blows my mind, this place is a joke. read more

Ordered equipment, my credit card was charged, no sign of the shipment, no answer at any of their phone numbers, no response to emails or online queries. I called their storefront and was told that they are so busy nobody has time to answer the phone. Then she said that they had a new phone system that was causing delays in answering. Now there is a message on their website that says they have a new ordering system that is causing delays. Their Twitter feed (because that's the only way to contact them) is lit up with customers wondering where their orders are. Hey Team Express - what's going on? read more

This place is SOOOOO BAD , I went to this place cause my daughter need it a bigger glove , so we found one that was not so crazy expensive and the guy that was helping us told us before we went to cash out , he said " do you want me to steam that glove for you " I said well is there a fee for that he said no " it's free " so I said why not she has a game this weekend so her glove needs to be ready, so on our way to cash out the " Manager " that was helping me was trying to charge me $15 more than what the glove was price at and the glove had three TAGS on it ALL at the same price , PLUS another $15 for the steam so I would try and SKIP this place if all possible. read more

I needed a set of jerseys for my Tuff League Flag Football team and they delivered big time. By far, Team Express had the best price I could find on the web and the whole transaction was smooth as silk. I ordered the jerseys on Monday and they were delivered to CA with standard shipping on Thursday. I got them to the printer on Friday and they were ready in time for our first game the following Sunday night. The jersey's came out "on point" and I couldn't have done it so quickly and inexpensively, if it wasn't for Team Express. I will most likely be purchasing another set of alternative jersey's down the road and I would definitely recommend them for your teams needs. read more

If I could give them "zero" stars I would! These idiots won't survive in the world on eCommerce. No way! Bad business practices. Ordered cleats for my son. Website said the cleats would ship 9 days later. No problem. They took payment when I ordered the cleats. Shame on them! 9 days later, nothing. 3 weeks later, nothing. Sent customer service an email and they never replied. So I called their customer service line today and waited ... get this ... 1 hour and 54 minutes! Cancelled the order and ordered the cleats from a competitor. Team Express ... you guys suck! If you focused on serving your customers and less time marketing your company, you might survive the war in the eCommerce space. Based on how you guys operate, no won't be around in the future. Take note of the other reviews ... all 1 star. read more

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE! You've been warned. I've been waiting for my order for over three months. Every time I've tried to contact B.E their phones just ring and ring. When you email, you get an auto response stating they're going through a system upgrade and orders will be shipped within the next week. It's been the freaking three months! I was only able to get a response from the company by going through the BBB. No matter how flashy or cool their catalogs look, go elsewhere. Don't disappoint yourself or your kids. Very happy---I have had recent knee pain that has continued to get worse and so while waiting for the doc to order X-rays and then an MRI I ordered the icepack from Team Express, the Pro Ice Knee/Multipurpose Cold Therapy Wrap to be exact. While I don't find the ice lasts an hour it has been a God send for my knee that pops, clicks and general pain. It appears when I read my MRI report online that i have a tear somewhere so I imagine surgery is coming down the pipe. Will be using this after that as well I assume. Good price considering all. read more

Best to avoid shopping here. There are many other and better options for getting your sporting needs. Below is the email I sent to two different "customer service" emails at both teamexpress.com and their site baseballexpress.com. Feedback/Email sent to both teamexpress.com & baseballexpress.com Hello, I just wanted to share some feedback that you may want share with your marketing team. I am/was a first time customer and today I was in the process of finalizing my order for payment on your website. I was given notice that my purchase included a 2-year subscription of Field & Stream magazine. There was no way to remove this subscription and I was given a link to another non-Team Express website (http://www.subco.com/offerdetailsrefund) where there was form to fill out and snail mail back to them a paper form to opt-out of this this unwanted subscription. I do not know who this other company is, I do not want them to have my mailing information and do not want to have to take the time to print, fill-out and mail in a physical form. I also do not want 2 years of monthly junk mail/magazine subscriptions as this is waste of paper and of my time throwing out the monthly junk mail and the other junk mail that they will send me. For these reasons I did not place an order with TE and purchased the products elsewhere for the exact same price. If I had been able to remove the unwanted subscription for the magazine/junk mail then I would have completed my order at Team Express. Just wanted to share some feedback in case your company is looking for ways to grow its customer base and enhance a new customer's experience. EDIT #2: Since sending this email originally yesterday, I received a new email from teamexpress.com letting me know that I signed up for for your company's newsletter/spam. I did not complete any order and I did not agree nor sign-up for any newsletters. It is disappointing that your company would subscribe customers without their consent to your newsletters/spam. EDIT #3 I originally sent this email to customer.service@baseballexpress.com, the address listed on your baseballexpress.com website. However this email came back as undeliverable. http://www.baseballexpress.com/contact-us EDIT #4 sent follow-up email the customer.service@baseballexpress.com, the address listed on your teamexpress.com website. However this email ALSO came back as undeliverable. http://www.baseballexpress.com/contact-us The combination of all three items above definitely pushed me to competitors whom sell the same products but do not conduct business in this manner. read more

Don't order from this company. Placed an order for team sweatshirts Feb 2nd and only received partial order. Was informed that the other items were on back order and that they would ship soon. Since then I have never heard anything back. Tried to email them multiple times and only get the automated response. Tried to call and never able to get through. Had to find a different company and re-order my original order because no one had the same style. Ended up having to pay more money. read more

I ordered baseball pants for my son on 9-12-16, I paid for expedited shipping. I never got the pants and the bill didn't appear on my credit card so I just assumed that I hadn't hit the send button when I ordered (I didn't get a confirmation e-mail of my order). Today, 9-26-16, 14 days after I paid for expedited shipping, the pants shipped and I got an e-mail. Since it's already been 2 weeks, I've bought other pants in the meantime. I called, they did agree to not charge me for the expedited shipping but I have to pay to ship the pants back to them and return. I will never deal with them again, easier and cheaper to just drive to the local sporting goods store. read more

If I'm in the market for any softball equipment this is where I go. Team express carries a large variety of softball equipment. There is a small selection of locations of where to find softball gear. If all online shopping were this painful, no one would ever even think about buying anything via the internet. I ordered a dozen softballs and was told to expect shipping within a day or two (the item was in stock), and the shipping itself would take 7-10 days. Fine, the price was good. I wanted them ASAP but was fine waiting two weeks. Two weeks later, I sent an email to inquire about my order, since I had not received any shipping confirmation. Got back an automated email that they have heavy email volume and it would take them 7-10 DAYS!!! to respond. Obviously not willing to wait that long, I decided to call customer service. The website says they start answering calls at 7 am CST. I called around 7:15 and was told there were 30 people in line in front of me. Got disconnected after about 40 minutes. It also doesn't appear to be too easy to cancel an order. I'm considering emailing customer service to tell them to cancel it and reporting the charge as fraudulent on my credit card. Not sure what else I can do at this point. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. I have not had another shopping experience that has even come close to being this bad. read more

Be careful ordering online from this company. They sent the wrong size cleats and it took 2 months after returning the cleats for them to refund my money. If you call the wait is 24+ people ahead of you. I did the online chat 3 different times and was assured that they would expedite my refund. Finally, after 2 months of hearing the same empty promise, I threatened to leave them negative reviews if I did not get my refund THAT day. I got my refund that day. Funny how suddenly they were finally able to "expedite" the refund. If I hadn't hounded them they would have just kept my $ and their cleats. read more

This company is terrible. Similar to other callers, I placed the order, got charged and have been waiting for my order to arrive. Tried calling, but was 55th on the waiting list. Sent an e-mail and received an auto response that it will take 14 days to respond to my e-mail. Not a very service friendly organization. Stay away. read more
