Rude and Disrespectful Customer Service! I visited Forever21 on New Year's Eve with plenty of time before closing. About 10 minutes before closing, an employee (a Black woman working that evening) rudely said, "Alright, you have to go to the register if you're even going to buy anything; if not, you need to get out. We're closed." I was dressed nicely, quietly shopping, and causing no trouble, so her attitude was completely uncalled for. What's worse is that, I felt discriminated against because I was speaking both Spanish and English to my spouse, as if she assumed I was "just another immigrant" who might cause trouble--which I am not and even if I was, she shouldn't be acting in such a way. I understand holiday shifts can be stressful, but there's no excuse for this behavior. I prefer the Forever 21 location in La Cantera much better than this one. I placed my order with Forever 21, This company is normally good with getting my orders to me, however recently I placed an order with them on 09/16/2024 it is 10/22/2024 and I haven't received my order yet!! I checked my email and the last email I received was on 9/16/2024 stating that my order was processing. I reached out to customer service just to be told that my order was returned due to issues with my address and that a refund will be issued to my card. I NEVER received an email stating this nor did I receive anything stating that a refund was being issued. I am HIGHLY upset for the lack of communication and the customer service to ensure that their customers are aware of what's going on with their orders. They need someone who will update customers in REAL time. They have officially LOST a customer!!!!!!!!! read more

Unknowledgeable, and unhelpful. Went in to buy a sweater, a top, a few other things for the holidays and saw a sweater on a 50% off rack... SEVERAL OF THE SAME SWEATERS MIND YOU. Get to the register, sweater doesn't ring up 50% off, girl at counter says if it was 50% off it would've taken it off. Fine, I'll skip the sweater, might've been a fluke and I misread or something. Then, on the rest, try to apply a $5 reward from being a cardholder. She asks if I have a printed copy of the reward. I don't. She said some people print it and bring it in, and she cannot apply it. Mind you, it's on my phone. She says she cannot help me. Leave the whole thing then. What do I earn these rewards for? Finally, I'm walking out and I see the sweater, I see the sign, it's definitely being advertised as 50% off. The girl working the area states "I don't know, some of them aren't or something." 1. I've walked by this store many times and I had no idea they sell girls clothes! We have been looking for some cute clothes for portraits for my daughter and stumbled into Forever 21. They have adorable girls clothes, backpacks, purses and accessories. Their prices are unbelievable! My daughter loves to wear the cotton/spandex camis with the spaghetti strap sleeves in the summer. Another popular girls store in the mall sells them for $8 a piece and they are sad quality. However, we found every color you can imagine at Forever 21 and they are $1.90 each!! This is not even a sale price, it is the regular price. Also, they are excellent quality in fabric and stitching. We bought her a few other items as well and I am amazed at how well the quality of the clothing is here for the price! read more

I rarely shop at Forever 21 anymore. Partly because I don't wanna dress like every other girl out there. Another is because I get overwhelmed whenever I do walk into that store. So much stuff---but so much of the stuff I WOULDN'T wear. Prices have shot up since I first got introduced to the Forever 21 stores. This particular location at North Star Mall is huge...2 stories. They have a section for kids, guys, and plus sizes. The one time I decided to shop here since forever (cuz of a gift card)....an employee accidentally scanned an item (that was probably sitting on the counter) and charged me for it. Once I found out I walked back to let that cashier know. They couldn't give me back the money---but rather, a store credit. So I asked, "So, because you guys messed up it becomes an inconvenience for me?!" She said "yes. sorry." Now I HAVE to go back to Forever XXI in the future. Sneaky. GRRR. And I love how they hire these cocky teeny boppers who think they run the world cuz they work there. SMH. read more

Customer service has really gone down, I hadn't been to this store since even before the pandemic. I was looking for a dress for graduation. With too many options I was already overwhelmed. Employees start hurrying customers an hour before they even close and they keep on giving you count downs for you to get out. I wanted to try a pair of black heels on to go with my dress and an employee said "now it's not the time to be trying anything on". This was 5 mins before they closed and I thought that if I didn't walk out with the dress, I could at least get the shoes. Never mind, when she said that I had enough with them hurrying me up the entire time I was in the store. I'll just take my business elsewhere next time, there were many tops I wanted to get later on as I was focus on finding my dress. OMG! this remodel of the store in North Star Mall in San Antonio is phenomenal! I literally almost cried I was so excited. However I realized today how much of a shopping problem I truly have. When you walk in your eyes are automatically fixated on the escalators! Thats right escalators in forever 21!! This store is huge, clothes galore!! There is even mens clothing and a children's section to shop from. Everything is aligned so beautifully! Organized and easy to filter through. 4.9 Stars Location Overview: This location is set in the North Star Mall by the stairs/escalators, across from Victoria Secret. Being that I do not go to San Antonio very often I assumed the mall was huge, however, there are not that many stores at the North Star Mall. Buuuuuuuuut this Forever 21 location exceeds all expectations. Customer Service: The customer service is not that great. I do appreciate every now again someone checking if I need help finding something or need anything else. At this location it was difficult to find an associate to help me pull down some shirts that were basically hanging from the ceiling. Like most places you work at, you wear a badge or uniform so that customers and clients can identify you, but here I was not sure who worked there and I myself was asked by customers to help them look for something. Lastly, not so much directed towards the associate's but why is there only one fitting room open, if you are on the opposite floor you are gonna travel to find the fitting room. Quantity/Quality: The quantity of the store most definitely exceeds any girls expectations in a clothing store. I do not normally walk into a two story sized clothing store unless it is a department store at the mall. This store is very big. The bottom floor is split from women/men/sportswear/shoes/under clothes. This top floor is the discount section - $10 or less. The top section also includes plus size for all my girls with a little extra meat like me ;). The quality of the clothes is just the same as any Forever 21 store that you go to. Not a store I typically make an effort to go in, but since it has become one of the anchor stores I end up wandering around once in a while. Usually I find forever 21 has the worst organization of any store, but they actually manage to maintain this place! It's spacious and very well organized (this alone had warranted the 4 stars). Browsing without having to claw through crowds is actually possible as well. They have a larger variety than their smaller locations, yet I find everything else to be exactly the same (like not being able to find a sales associate when you need one). read more

I love this F21. Partly because it's as big as my love for cute affordable fashion, partly because they are also now half regular priced downstairs and $10 and under upstairs. Their sale section is DEFINITELY underrated. During one of their 50% off Clearance sales i got about $30 dresses for around $50. Their staff is hardworking and kind, and the ambiance is bright and busy. The F21 locations around this town are perfectly placed! However, being in the pickle I was in, was blessed with the help of an associate named Priscilla (pardon the spelling, if incorrect) Juarez. She went above and BEYOND for me in my journey for a great New Years' outfit. From scanning the store, fitting rooms, and computer system; she went through great amounts of trouble to find the item I needed. My friends and I had an upcoming group picture for our student organization and we needed outfits on short notice. We can to forever 21 and thought we had found exactly what we needed. We made our purchase somewhat close to closing time and then headed out. We stopped at one store on the way to our car to look a top and my friend tried on the top and the pants she got in their fitting room and then all of the sudden the zipper had busted and wouldn't unzip or zip up. She was stuck in them, I had to yank them off of her since she couldn't get out. We thought it was too close to closing time to go and return them now since they sold a faulty zipper so we came back the next day and they told us it was our fault and they will not accept the return. They claim it was fine before purchase, but that's not true. I took a look at the pants and the teeth of the zipper didn't even align properly it was a poor quality and faulty product that shouldn't have costed $40+. read more

I love the large selection of the F21+ line. I get a lot of my clothes from here. My bigger issue is that for all of the employees they have milling around at any given time, they only ever have 4-5 at the main check out. Doesn't matter what time of day you go, or even what day you go, you'll be waiting in line to check out. The annoying part about all of this is that they have 2 (maybe 3?) other check out counters that are NEVER EVER EVER utilized. Like, never. Legitimately never seen the other counters occupied. *irritated* Honestly guys, for the amount of traffic this store gets - for how popular this brand is - the check out process is abhorrent. read more

I'm definitely not 21 anymore and this store reminds me of it whenever I step through the doors. Sometimes I wander through the aisles wondering, "Who would wear stuff like this??" But, by the look of how massive and busy this store is, a lot of people would. I go here whenever I'm in search of a cute, inexpensive, probably disposable party dress. I've bought a handful over them over the last year or two and there are two still standing that haven't fallen apart or become terribly dated in a matter of months. They also have really inexpensive (but again, slightly disposable) jewelry items and clutches in every color of the rainbow. I'd recommend coming here first for accessories and maybe third or fourth for clothes. read more

Remember the Mervyn's inside of North Star Mall? Well, that department store has been converted into the mecca known as Forever 21 with escalators and all. The whole first floor is divided into a couple of sections, likely to make it seem not as overwhelming. First floor: room with t-shirts/yoga pants/loungewear, room with men's clothing, room with blue jeans/striped shirts/weekend wear. Front room by mall entrance has rotating trendy items (recently things with flower patterns, but it changes), room by entrance with shoes---but, good luck finding a size 8! Second floor: Love 21 (more contemporary work wear) Heratige 21 (wood floors and very American Eagle-ish). Center area with kids clothing, back area with lingerie, front entrance off mall has party dresses. It's good that it's divided up or it would be even more confusing than it already is. I suggest making it upstairs b/c Love 21 and Heritage seem to be a bit better in quality/design/fit. The turnover of staff at this location seems to be very high, as they usually cannot help you find anything, and are not in a hurry to check people out at the registers. Know that their return policy is pretty fierce, as in store credit on clothing only. Don't expect to return any shoes, jewelry or accessories. When you shop here are you supporting a factory with sweatshops somewhere? Probably. Do the clothes stand the test of time? Well, I suppose it doesn't matter b/c it's just meant to be trendy pieces to mix in with the rest of your wardrobe. read more

One of the worst maintained Forever 21 stores in San Antonio that I have been too. Every time I come to shop, there is clothing all over the floor, clothing stuck in places where it doesn't go. It such a pain having to go through the store and walking around the dropped clothing and mess. There is a mess everywhere, shoe area, you will find single shoes, or hats all over the place. This store is very, very disorganized. As for positive things about this store is that customer service is great, the girls are always very nice and helpful. In addition, the second floor always has sales going on, and you can find good clothing, for less than 10 dollars. OMG, haven't been to this store in a very good while. I went to find a dress that I had saw online as I walked in I had no idea what section was what. The whole store literally looked like a thrift store, huge mess and very unorganized. The store was basically depressing, I don't know what management is up to in there. I have shopped at Forever 21 for a few years and have always been basically satisfied; however, based on my experience today at the Forever 21 North Star Mall location, I will be replacing them and shopping elsewhere. The girl at the counter proceeded to look me up and down, roll her eyes and turn to ignore me while she decided she'd rather chit chat with a coworker instead of ring me up. After not being helped for awhile, I proceeded to just leave the pile on the counter and tell the worker sorry she did not have time to assist me but I wasn't going to wait any longer. holiday shopping led me to this store closest to my place and I am glad that I found it. I find this place to be well organized and well stocked. 2 floors each has its own checkout counter and the variety of this place is better than a lot of other 21 stores i've been to. Some of the employees here are pretty helpful, others not so much. Well, they've remodeled and now the store is 2 stories a la NYC Union Square style. A lot of variety but such a mess and very crowded, which I can understand by watching girls throwing clothes around when they don't want them. They have practically every collection from the website including Faith21 (plus size), their mens line, kids, lingerie, maternity, their love21, Heritage 1981 ... everything. Clothes are inexpensive which is great but the store is a mess! You really have to spend a lot of time digging through items that seem to be all over the place and not in any sort of order. The dressing rooms are a mess too and most of the lights were not working or just not on in the dressing rooms. The attendant wasn't very helpful. Great for cheap deals but expect the same from the store overall...cheap. read more

The ONLY reason I ever go shopping at this location is because it is conveniently located not too far from my apartment. I hate the customer service I receive! You would think they would have the friendly, outgoing people located at the front of the store as greeters. Nope! Every time I walk in, it's a 50/50 chance I'll even get a hello! Not only that, when someone does actually acknowledge my existence, it is just a dirty look and a hi. I am a customer! I work in the customer service industry myself, and it doesn't take all but five seconds to smile at someone, tell them your name and see if they might want some assistance!
