The front-end experience was fine, but once we got to the bar to order drinks and food, things went downhill. We waited about 10 minutes to be helped. I don't blame the bartender -- she was clearly doing her best and working hard to keep up. However, another employee came over and instead of asking who was next, he chose a couple of people to help and then walked away, which was frustrating. I understand that Fridays can be busy, especially with lots of reservations, but better staffing or having a manager step in to help during peak times would make a big difference. The food and drinks were just ok. Overall, the games were the highlight, but the service and food experience could definitely be improved.

I'm extremely sore today after an afternoon spent at Beat the Bomb. I went for a friend's birthday…read morewith four others. The check-in process was seamless. The staff at the front desk asked for the person's name who created the reservation. Once our entire party arrived, we got wristbands that appeared to have a chip inside of them to detect which player is doing what inside each room. The birthday girl received a token for a free t-shirt of her choosing. We walked over to a set of lockers to place our belongings into while we played. Without giving too much away, there are four rooms you go into with the skill levels increasing each time. Most of the time, we made it to level 12-13 depending on how difficult the challenges were. At the end, you are provided with a bomb time (based on your total score from the initial rooms) to beat the bomb. We had roughly 4 minutes and 13 seconds to perform the last challenge. The attendant provided us with shoe covers and a white suit to put on while we waited for the room to be ready. Another attendant provided a clear helmet for our faces. I'll say it's slightly loud throughout the entire thing, so it's somewhat hard to hear instructions. I wasn't clear on the instructions we received when we got into the first room but I eventually figured it out. Our final score was 5/10 and the time was running out. Next thing you know, the paint splattered all over us. It was a funny feeling as the paint was cold. The cameras took a 10 second video of us and also a few photos. It was so fun to see our media at the end of it all! The employee walked into the room to hose everyone down. The food and beverage choices were decent and reasonably priced! They have alcoholic slushies and bar bites, such as chips & dip and pretzel bites. I got a cider on draft for $5.00. This was an experience I'll never forget! I'd like to come back to try the slime mission.

Being introverts we were hesitant at first. Our first impression after we signed up was a phone call with the founder of Unscripted Productions, Will. He has great energy and just knew we made the right move after a five minute phone call. The class made us get out of our comfort zone, be silly, take on different personas, make lifelong friends and built trust all while being in a safe environment. We looked forward to our classes as play time and always left feeling energized. We loved it so much that we are looking forward to taking Improv 2.

Will Dennis and his three companions were a high energy team involving the audience in their skits and even calling them up to the stage to join in the spontaneous merriment. Give them three unusual objects, moments in history or dialogue from Neil Simon plays, and they return with an hilarious sketch called out if their interactive imagination. It was all great! Although the evening began as a fundraiser for local candidates a week before the election, it quickly became an exercise in team building and support for the final get out the vote push, while it also showed another side of all of us who were ready for some fun after so many month of all too serious campaigning. Didn't know how funny those guys were! So, we raised some money, ate some good food provided by local restaurants and delis, and enjoyed an unexpectedly wonderful evening. Thanks so much Unscripted Productions. Creative Improv = Creative Improve

Crowd: Not too young and not too old. Drinks: Very good mixed drinks, limited generic beer selection. Food: Above average bar food. Restrooms: Clean. Parking: No parking, you are in Center City; used parking garage. Value: Average. Experience: Nice experience, especially for F1 fans, will return with my F1 fantasy group. Notable mention: The service here is top notch. Love the guys working the entrance, the front desk staff, the bartenders and the folks helping you with simulators. It adds a nice touch to the overall experience. Still trying top figure out if the bathroom tracks are real (see pic)

Cannot comment on the food because we stopped here before having dinner somewhere else. However, all the staff were very attentive and helpful throughout the place. Cons: Booked our reservations in advance, then our friends wanted to join in and booked theirs too later on. Unfortunately, there was no way for the staff to combine our reservations and let us all play together. You book a group of races that are played back to back. You cannot select what team you drive for, nor can you select the track, which we did not like. You have to play each race immediately and consecutively, and we wished there was an option to take it slower and scan a card or something to prompt the next race at our own pace, like an arcade. On the last race, our screens continued to play the guidelines and looped for about 8 minutes while our friends raced next to us before we asked for help. They had to reset it and we ended up having to race a course we already did previously because there was no way for them to select the last one for us. Overall this was a disappointing experience due to the lack of technical accommodations the staff could make. It was cool-looking but outside of that was not worth the money to me.

The overall purpose of the market is to feel full, and to feel like one of hundreds of people. And there are so many visitors around lunchtime and later. The walkways between the various cafes, bakeries, and food spots wer streams and rivers of hungry people. So many options of local Pennsylvanian delicacies were available, and seating was plentiful. There was a main seating area in the middle of the market, where you could see classes of high school students being lectured by teachers, workers on their lunch hour nibbling on a snack, and tourists and visitors frantically looking at all the visual splendor and fragrant cookery. Each individual business in the market has something to contribute to the overall experience. If you are close to the market, I recommend going during breakfast, lunch, and dinner to see the difference in food options. I also recommend going before lunch because it is usually a little less packed. Parking is going to be a hassle, so find parking where you can, and try to walk there!

And after we had our wedding, our guest did nothing but rave about how fun, unique and perfect the reception was. But just having a reception at RTM is not what I'd recommend it. It was so much more. It was having the incredible variety of foods - we had cheesesteaks, DiNic's roast pork, Chinese food, a salad bar, poutine and corn dogs, grilled cheese from Meltkraft, the list goes on. It was having a historic and unique setting that was transformed into a beautiful evening even with string lights, candles, table clothes, decorations and provided an ambiance it'd be impossible to replicate anywhere else. It was the servers who attended to our guests every need, kept the party going, the room clean and the people happy. It was every little touch that the planning team executed perfectly for us, that all happened without us realizing it, without any reminders or questions. The planning team at All About Events were the true heroes of the night - and in fact, the whole planning process. We met with them about 15 months before our wedding, and Christina, Stevie and Liam made sure that everything was easy, fun and exciting. Christina's emails to us were always clear and thorough, addressing every little question I had asked, and pointing out tiny things I never would have thought of. Stevie's communication with our vendors was so appreciated, including our Mummers and DJ! And every time we met with them, the meetings were exciting, joyful. Their personalities and kindness and caring for us and our events just SHONE. We could not recommend RTM and AAE more. They are a truly wonderful team, and a gem in the Philadelphia wedding scene. I hope that we get to go to another event at the market soon, and we will certainly keep them in mind for our 10th anniversary vow renewal!!!!
