We would not have had such an enjoyable and educational time walking around this part of this City without him leading the way. He shared with us that he is a retired University professor and Philadelphia native. He loves this city and it showed! We learned about the history of one of the oldest markets in the US (over 100 years old) and sampled some items along the way. We also saw street art and learned more about the history of the City, William Penn's plan for a "utopian" type society and the legendary "curse of William Penn." The Penn statue on top of City Hall used to be the highest point in Philadelphia until the 1980's when the mayor alllowed skyscrapers in. The legend goes that after that, all the Philly sports teams had a losing streak until a worker on one of the new tallest buildings added a mini statue of Penn to the top, then the teams started to win again. On our tour, we sampled... Sesame seed sprinkled fresh bread (with no preservatives) Italian cookie drizzled with chocolate. Aged Balsamic Vinegar, Fig Vinegar and Coconut flavored White Balsalmic Vinegar Special cheese (can't remember the name) coupled with spiced cashews Fresh (made today) Tortilla chips and fresh tomato salsa from a shop where the owners are from Central Mexico Mandarin orange from the produce stand Plus we got 10% off when we purchased additional items at the vendors we passed for being on the tour.

Had a wonderful time in this tour. I would recommend it! Our tour guide was exceptional.read more

Dylan and David were wonderful hosts/ game masters - kept our students engaged and maintained a fun/ high energy level. We used their Communication Breakthrough event as an official icebreaker. Although we've done this in the past, they were able to offer new and exciting games/ challenges for our group. The students also did the MacGyver event, which was pretty interesting (and hilarious), to say the least. I HIGHLY recommend FF for your team-building/ bonding needs. They are THE BEST!

The game itself was really well-created -- the challenges and trivia were challenging but not impossible, the instructions were clear, the trade-offs between "finishing a city" or answering more trivia questions added a layer of strategy. Really impressive. But Jill and Scott were fun, engaging, energetic, and really made it memorable. Got lots of enthusiastic raves from many people on the team, and as the one who planned it, it made me look really good. What more can you hope for from a virtual team builder??

And after we had our wedding, our guest did nothing but rave about how fun, unique and perfect the reception was. But just having a reception at RTM is not what I'd recommend it. It was so much more. It was having the incredible variety of foods - we had cheesesteaks, DiNic's roast pork, Chinese food, a salad bar, poutine and corn dogs, grilled cheese from Meltkraft, the list goes on. It was having a historic and unique setting that was transformed into a beautiful evening even with string lights, candles, table clothes, decorations and provided an ambiance it'd be impossible to replicate anywhere else. It was the servers who attended to our guests every need, kept the party going, the room clean and the people happy. It was every little touch that the planning team executed perfectly for us, that all happened without us realizing it, without any reminders or questions. The planning team at All About Events were the true heroes of the night - and in fact, the whole planning process. We met with them about 15 months before our wedding, and Christina, Stevie and Liam made sure that everything was easy, fun and exciting. Christina's emails to us were always clear and thorough, addressing every little question I had asked, and pointing out tiny things I never would have thought of. Stevie's communication with our vendors was so appreciated, including our Mummers and DJ! And every time we met with them, the meetings were exciting, joyful. Their personalities and kindness and caring for us and our events just SHONE. We could not recommend RTM and AAE more. They are a truly wonderful team, and a gem in the Philadelphia wedding scene. I hope that we get to go to another event at the market soon, and we will certainly keep them in mind for our 10th anniversary vow renewal!!!!
