The parking was plenty at 11:30am, I parked on the street instead of the north lot. The first playground was on a hill and another on the corner southeast side across the pool/skatepark. They had sand around the play structure and swings, so be careful with sand everywhere. Restrooms are open, they have a couple spread out the park. Great park, plenty of benches to sit and shade in most areas depending on the time!

Hubby & I pass by this park almost daily since we stayed at an Airbnb for about 3 months just a few blocks away. Before 6 am, I see many residents walking already. At night I see many also play basketball at the courts. It sort of reminds me of Cerritos' Liberty Park. The walking/running area has the soft cement just like Liberty Park, easy on the feet. There's a playground for children. The grass is lush & green. We parked on the street, free. There is a designated parking lot for this park. I can see Hubby & I doing our walks here. Great park. The swim gym has 12 lanes. Will look into whatever else they offer when I visit it during the day time hours.

They also had an In-N-Out truck in the parking lot. There's lots of trees surrounding the park and the grass was green and well taken care of. On the walls the 30 NBA team banners are hanging which create a great atmosphere to train.

There's covered tables I believe you have to reserve. I've come here at night before and there are above lights that keep it well lit. Parking towards the end of the day can be limited because the park is surrounded by homes. It doesn't look like the nicest neighborhood but this little park is so sweet. Don't be surprised to find many residents of the community doing dances and stretches and exercise in the morning. Many older women come in groups and go in walks. And there are people that come and use the smaller basketball court. The playground for the children is also well maintained. I've never used the restroom at that oark but there is one located right in the middle.

There is a parking lot in front, and a…read moredirt pathway to the skatepark (dirt doesn't go well with the griptape on a skateboard)...The skatepark has some nice features, manny pads, ledges, quarterpipe ramps, rails, and the butterfly shaped bowl. I had a lot of fun riding the bowl, but it traps a lot of leaves but I was able to ride through without falling. The bowl has nice waterfalls to help gain speed on your carve. Very fun!

My son is…read morea 11 year old boy but very shy in the public, i always want him to play some sports and involve in teams. I've tried so many other places like soccer, volleyball and even tried basketball, but they all didn't help, he just not want to participate. This August, I saw an ad that PBA organized a basketball event and I am the first one registered, I was gonna try at least one more time and see if it helps my son. And whats so good is, it beyond my expectation, my son told me, he loves playing here, i was shocked, asked him why, he said there is a PBA staff, which is a young lady, who hand in hand to get him to the court and show him something fun, and slowly bring him to the group where he can meet and play with other kids. Finally i registered that day on the even for the Fall 2019 class, this is just nothing better, love it.

Our 3 y/o wasn't sure about it at first, but he eventually liked swinging like a superhero. :) There's only one tire swing, so expect a little line of kids, but worth the wait for those who have never got to experience one of these things before. We parked on the street for this park right across from the entrance. I didn't see a parking lot anywhere, but there was plenty of street parking.

Park Offerings: 1) Playgrounds for the kids 2) Baseball field 3) Indoor basketball/Volleyball courts in their gymnasium. Just have to find out when it's open gym for those relative sports. 4) Tennis courts and Pickleball courts. For pickleball, there's specific times to play Monday through Sunday: 5pm to 930pm (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and 8am to 1pm (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday). Just have to be mindful of the hours that they have it. The city sets up the nets for everyone to use. They're not permanent courts. 5) Splash Zone/Swimming Pool. You'll have to be mindful of the times and rates. 6) Dog Park: Located next to the tennis courts. 7) Picnic Tables/Gazebo 8) Fitness Zones: You'll see some manual outdoor exercise machines 9) Restrooms: They're nice. Location/Parking: Located on Emerson between San Gabriel and Del Mar.. Parking can be found on the street or in their parking lot. Ambiance/Decor: Go outside and touch grass for a bit. It is a typical…read moreneighborhood park with a playground, open grass fields, indoor basketball courts, tennis courts, picnic shelters, a dog park, a seasonal Splash Zone water play area, and more. There are also temporary pickleball courts set up during certain hours of every day. Since these courts are not permanent, they are not great. The portable nets are flimsy and the area is way too cramped for the amount of people that visit. My main complaint with this park is that it is often pretty dirty. Although there are plenty of trash cans all over the park, I still always see litter scattered throughout the park floor, making it not an ideal place to walk my dogs. In addition, the park is super muddy whenever it rains. The park tends to get super busy on weekends, with all sorts of people coming to exercise, have parties, attend kids' sports games, or for events. Parking spots may completely fill up on weekends, while there will be plenty of open spots on weekdays.
