This place checks off all of the the things we needed to ensure our kids develop properly…read more 1. High level coaching 2. High level peers 3. Covered training facility 4. Development program that is geared to kids that actually play What we didn't expect was all of the added benefit included. 1. Free WiFi 2. Seating area for the parents 3. Controlled class size so each child gets adequate attention 4. Kids that welcome the new kids. (Nice touch) 5. Lots of classes and slots to keep the kids challenged 6. Clean bathrooms 7. Nice uniformed shirts that gives the kids a sense of belonging 8. like minded parents. To make this more personal we asked the kids to review the coaches in their own words. Coach Kurt -From Roman. Very funny, teaches me card tricks, knows a lot about soccer, has nice shoes and looks like a body builder . Always blocks my shots as a goalie. Coach Destiny - From Oly. She's very patient, good at explaining drill. Very nice, pretty and always smells good. Looks like Nelly Furtado. Coach Edgar - Oly/Roman he taught us how to be aggressive on defense . He's funny. Gave me the nickname Waka Waka. He's agile like a cat and has nice ball movement . I copied him and started wearing gatos. Coach Henry - Oly/Roman- he was scawy (oly's words) at the beginning but it wasn't that. He has high standards and disciplined. The more we get to know him he shows his caring side and teaches us the small things that make us better soccer players. He has awesome tattoos He builds his practices in layers so we can understand. This will build your kids from whatever level to the next level . Amazing value compared to what we pay. The best way we can say thank you to a great business is to continue referring potential clients . I've referred many and will continue as a thank you . Thanks for welcoming us. Now we live by the mantra " best never rest, rest at the end."

I let my husband take care of the booking and checking out this place and I just came to the day of the party. I seriously came with little no expectations and just left in total awe. Joan and Kurt were very friendly, helpful, and through. The rest of the night, I couldn't help but praise how wondering they both were. We had 2 coolers but they provided one big cooler which made life 10x easier for us. We ended up combining our two into their one cooler. They had tables and chairs set up for us prior to us arriving. The cheap plastic table clothes I purchased at Dollar Tree were not even used because they had nice black ones on the table for us already. Joan even had a food warmer and it helped our food stay nice and warm for the guests. Joan kept offering to help and I told her its ok and she did so anyways which I am so thankful for. I'm used to doing everything so it was really nice being able to finish with set up early. They helped us clean and put things away. If you have a little one that loves soccer, this is the spot to book! You can pay extra and have a referee there to help coordinate a real game. Unfortunately, our guests/my son did not end up playing a game because they just enjoyed kicking the ball around with each other. They also train if your little one is interested in learning how to be a better soccer player. I need to still reach out to Kurt to have my son try it out. I do think the facility is nice and clean. Well kept and is such a needed place for our SGV community! I definitely give this spot 2 thumbs up!

I'm not a parent at the academy, but I know Jessie personally. But I played soccer at a high level…read moremyself (academy in Europe), so I've been around a lot of coaches, and I can say without exaggeration that Jessie is in a different category. There's a reason people at the club call him Pep. What makes him special isn't just his soccer IQ, though that's elite. It's that he actually cares about the kids he works with. He reads people fast, knows when to push and when to back off, and has this way of making a kid believe in themselves without inflating their ego. That's a rare skill. Most coaches can teach a drill. Very few can develop a player and a person at the same time. Jessie does both. Beyond the field, he's one of the most genuine, hardworking people I've come across. If I had a kid and lived in the area, he'd be training with Jessie. That's the highest endorsement I can give

Not good. Do not sign any long term contract unless you feel 100% confident this is what you want…read more We initially did a try out with Coach Jessie. He told us to come at 5pm. We get there and see there are a bunch of little kids. We expressed to him that he doesn't want to train with kids much younger than him because it's just me not beneficial for him. The intensity level is so much lower. He said ok,come back at 6 then and you can train with the older kids. So we did that and my son absolutely loved it because he was challenged. I was actually looking for 1 on 1 training for my son. Coach Jessie only does group training.. I was hesitant and wanted to try out some other coaches first but my son really had a good experience with the older kids. I made the mistake of signing a contract. After signing this contract, within 2 weeks Jessie regrouped the kids. My son grouped with the younger kids, something we expressed to Jessie that we didn't want during the tryout. I was disappointed, my son was disappointed. I felt absolutely betrayed.. However, there were still a few kids his age and some of the younger kids were very skilled. So I was disappointed, but convinced myself that it might be okay. Then next week came and now those skilled kids are gone. My son, who is 11 , about to turn 12, is practicing with kids much younger than him. They are basically beginners. He is absolutely bored. The practice was a fraction of the intensity of what he was getting with his club so he was receiving absolutely zero benefits. I was very frustrated and after this session informed Jessie that I wanted to cancel after this month. Turns out, I cannot. I am locked in for 6 months. He acted surprised when I wanted to cancel. Throwing it back at me for not communicating my displeasure Yet, I did communicate. It is he who showed us one thing during tryouts, then completely changed things on us after we signed up. I expressed to him that my son needs help on the offensive end. He needs training on one on one skills. We are not getting this. What he is getting is similar to the training he already receives with his club . is Jessie's program bad? No. It really depends on your situation. If your kid is in AYSO, then this could be very beneficial to you. If your kid is in a club that has good coaches, then you will not gain much. However, every kid is different. Your child may be benefit. My advice is DO NOT sign any contract too soon. Make absolutely sure this is what you want. He will try to convince you he can help you. I will give him the benefit of the doubt and assume this is honest, BUT absolutely wait and see before signing that contract. I would absolutely not sign a long term contract. You don't want to make the mistake that I made and be stuck with 6 months of something you don't want. To be fair, after I asked to cancel, he offered to move my son back to the older group. However, he did throw it back at me for not communicating my unhappiness when I did communicate to him before we signed. He is the one who made the change on us after we signed the contract and ignored our communication to him about what we wanted, then acted surprised when I was unhappy.
