Terrible league to play in. The league is very unprofessional! A guy came up to me during a coed…read moregame and told me he was going to f*** me up. The ref didn't give him a red card and let him threaten me. I took it to he league which they knew what happened and knew what he said and they told me they talked to him but he was still allowed to play and not get disciplined after what he told me a women. Then I showed proof and at the end the league ended up lying and said they never heard that from the player when the LEAGUE was the one that owned up to it! Don't play in this league they don't care about women in this league. They will allow a guy to tell you he's going to f*** you up. And won't do NOTHING about it. The league only cares about its money and not about others safety.

So this is our first season in the league. Here listing out the Pros & Cons…read more Pros : * Great Venues : The venue that we play is at Villa Parke. Its a well maintained artificial turf. * Pretty good equipment's (Goals and Lines) : Goals are metal ones, the field perimeters are well defined. * The match officiating is decent. * A good football community in FB group. Cons : * Overpriced : With the kind of money charged for the season they should be organizing this in a better way. There are major room for improvement when it comes to organizing the league. * There is no supply of soccer balls. Last time we were playing the game with the balls that we brought. 750$ registration and not able to provide 30$ worth soccer ball is kind of disappointing. Note** don't bring expensive ones because there are chances that you might end up losing them. * Be prepared for a lot of postponement in your fixtures. * Very lousy when it comes to scheduling and responding to emails, we still haven't received our complete fixtures for the season yet. I would still recommend it for the venue and the game experience.

I'm currently expecting and the young man helped me see how I walk lol he told me I need arch support it was kinda embarrassing but also he kept it real said it would help if I got inserts or he can show me another shoe with arch support. I ended up getting socks too I loved the try on socks but I saw some nicer ones. I can't wait to try my shoes on tomorrow I definitely want to come back to get another color. I got black for now :D

My wife was looking for a pair of walking shoes, as her previous ones started to hurt her feet…read moreafter only a few uses. We immediately felt welcome as we walked in, as their associates greeted us and asked us about any questions we had. They helped analyze her stride/gait, and gave us a variety of recommendations. I wasn't in the market for shoes myself, but I was able to get my gait analyzed as well, as I had always been curious about my running/walking form, and which shoe would work best for me. After trying on a few pairs, we finally picked a pair of New Balances. They have a large selection of shoes, from brands that are popular such as Brooks and Asics, to lesser known ones such as Diodora and 361. They also carry everything else you could need for your feet/shoes, such as socks, cushioning, recovery items, etc,. I believe their prices are pretty close to MSRP, so you may be paying a bit more than if you were to grab them online with discounts, but the customer experience is unrivaled, and it's worth supporting a local store if you can afford to! They also seem to have quite a few running events, so if you are close by, it seems like a nice place to potentially find a running community. I would highly recommend Run With Us for any running/walking needs!

**This review is for the trail adjacent to the facility**…read more The narrow trailhead begins at the entrance of the parking lot to this spacious, outdoor complex. Although not entirely new, it is extremely well-kept and clean with lots of parking. The trail itself is a nice ride/hike to the top of the electrical towers overlooking Glendale. My best guess is that it's about 2.5 miles to the first set of towers, which seems to be the highest point of the system. Apparently, the top leads to other trail systems into the Verdugo mountains that go for miles. I did notice that there's a road that runs near the towers and people often park there to enter the trail system. Good thing to know the next time around. At any rate, the beginning of the trail from the lot is steep uphill for about 1/2 mile. Prepare for a workout. Then it's up and some down from there. All single track, some switchbacks and a little bit of fire road. It is up the side of a mountain, so yes, if you spill over the side it's a long way down. Lots of shade and it's pretty well kept. I will say that this is a mixed trail, so there is some foot traffic shared with bikers. So if you are biking this, please be careful of the hikers on these single tracks. Bring a bell if you can and for everyone's safety, you really shouldn't be bombing the downhill here. There are other places for that and this is not one of them. Overall, I'd say this is a good advanced beginner to intermediate ride, depending how far you go. Fun trail!

I've been playing softball here for years, and overall it's a solid complex. Glendale Sports…read moreComplex has well-maintained fields, plenty of space, and usually enough parking. It's also generally pretty organized, which goes a long way when you're dealing with multiple leagues and games going on at once. That said... they're making some seriously questionable decisions right now. They decided to install solar panels during one of the busiest times of the year, which has cut the parking lot in half. So now everyone's forced to park on nearby streets--which would be fine, except the signage is confusing at best and borderline impossible to interpret at worst. To make things worse, police have suddenly started patrolling the area constantly and handing out tickets like crazy. I've been coming here for years and never seen ticketing like this before--it honestly feels like shooting fish in a barrel. And yes, they'll even ticket you for not curbing your wheels. Between the reduced parking, unclear street rules, and aggressive enforcement, it really feels like a cash grab--and it's frustrating for people who are just trying to show up and play. All that said, I still appreciate having this complex. It's a great spot for both softball and soccer, and when things are running smoothly, it's a really enjoyable place to play. Bottom line: great facility, but right now the parking situation is a mess. Plan ahead... or risk leaving with more than just a loss on the field.
