Attended the San Gabriel Water District's Water Fest here and had a good time. This park is large and was able to host many booths, a stage, a VIP area and a play area with inflatable slides, etc. This didn't even take up half of the park! They also had an In-N-Out truck in the parking lot. There's lots of trees surrounding the park and the grass was green and well taken care of. It's an ideal place to hold an event or have a picnic or birthday party. read more

Swung by en route between Pasadena and Arcadia for a quick walk for the dogs. There was plenty of free parking, doggie bag stations, clean pavement and shaded paths. So many trees and green grass for the dogs to sniff!! They loved and we loved it too!!! Both humans and the dogs appreciated the greenery and peaceful settings after a long car ride. We were all car sick from driving long distances -- from Palm Springs to Pasadena all in one go. What a treat it was to stop by at this nice county park. I know exactly where I am stopping by whenever I am in the area with dogs. Next time, I wouldn' even mind doing picnics so I can enjoy the takeaway meals / coffee / pastries on the go. read more

Beautifully well maintained dog friendly park, so glad that they close late. We are here almost everyday, many dog friendly owners walk their dogs here. You have to come if you have a fur baby. Lacy park is very nice too, but it closed just too early compared to Arcadia park. Highly recommended. read more

Beautiful park! Large space for runners walkers dog walking and exercise to stretch, do some Tai Chi, or watch a baseball game in kids league! There is a restroom building somewhat near by, minute to two min walk from the baseball fields. There is a big golf course near by also and there are multiple parking lots! I saw workers cleaning up on a Saturday morning and maintaining the property. read more

Probably one of the cleanest parks I've been too. Lots of tennis courts, walkways, parking, etc. It's got a golf course next tonight, baseball field, lots of grassy area to chill and/or walk your dog. Plenty of trees to keep you cool too. read more

I love this park. I used to come here sometimes when I lived in Monrovia back in the days. It not far from San Terriseda Hospital and Santa Anita Racetrack. Its one of the biggest parks out in the San Gabriel Valley area. People come here to barbecue, exercise, play sports. Good place for family, children, and pets. I believe their is a golf course nearby too. Parking is enormous too. Its always a pleasure to visit here all the way from Orange County. read more

The Arcadia County Park is a great place to take a walk or go for a run. Walking or running the perimeter of the park takes about 40 min (walking) and maybe 15-30 min running depending on your pace. There is a ppath through the upper third of the park that some people cut through to take a shorter route. There are lots on the west (Huntington Dr.) and east (Santa Anita Ave.) sides. The Santa Anita side has lots of shade from trees over hanging the sidewalk. The south side (Campus Dr.) accross from Aracdia High has little shade and is the hottest or coldest stretch depending on the season. The park has many picnic amenities. The picnic tables near the lots on both the west and east sides frequently have big groups doing activities on the weekends. There is a public pool, lawn bowling, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, a golf course, horseshoe pits, and a playground for kids. For a full list of activities, more information, and whether reservations are necessary for your activity, see their official website. The north east corner has a fountain with military memorial and history of the park info nearby. On memorial and vetrans days there is normally some sort of special memorial set up. The flags show in the pictures are from memorial day. The history of the park is interesting. The park is a relatively safe place during the day, however, homeless people sometimes are by the fountain and occassionally in other parts of the park. There are no known issues, but it would just be wise to avoid the park at night unless group activities are taking place there. We definitely recommend visiting. read more

One of my favorite parks in SGV. I feel slightly safer her than any other parks I have been to. The park is huge and plenty of parking space. It's connected to the golf course. I come here for regular runs and it's a good distance per loop if 2.5 miles. You can also engage in other activities. They have a tennis court, basketball court, swimming pools and etc. a lot of people come to this park to exercise after hours. read more

Arcadia County Park is a huge park on Huntington Drive. I have only driven through here to drop off some chips for the homeless on behalf of my Mom. I haven't actually visited this park to picnic or even walked around it. From what I can see, it's a very pleasant park and perfect for family and friends gatherings and events. Tons of tables and benches throughout the park. Tons of trees so great shade all around. You might be visited by some birds, squirrels, etc. I love nature! We're all part of nature, you know. Famous quote by Albert Einstein "Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better." So very true! Flowers don't worry and/or fight with the bees on why pollination didn't happen timely... bees just know and pollinate when time is right and flowers receive what was given and do their part! This park is huge, and has offerings for many different age groups. It is located right next to a golf course, and boasts a large center for senior citizens as well. The green lawn extends over a large area, and parking is never in shortage. My favorite spot in this park is where the pull-up bars sit. I can come here and get a quick outdoors workout while conducting business in the area. I've done so already several times, and I have good food options nearby for a post-workout meal. The area is safe. I haven't run into any sketchy people thus far. The police regularly patron the area as well, so no funny business here. Whether you're bringing kids to the playground, getting a game in at the tennis courts, or barbecuing with friends or family outdoors, this is a good park to come to. I love coming to this large, neighborhood park. It's perfect for walking, running, sports, and there are multiple picnic areas. Lots of parking and pretty mountain views with large grassy areas perfect for hanging out while staying socially distant. There are homeless people around the water fountain area, especially in the late evenings, but I have never experienced any issues. Sometimes police is patrolling as well. Wanting to find a place to walk around rather then been cooped up at home? This is a very good open park to get some fresh air do do some exercises. The walking path is at least a couple of mile long and the park is very spaces with plenty of shades from the beautiful trees. Although the exercise and the tennis court areas are temporary closed, you can still walk your dogs and take a jog here. I just love the green grass and the flowers on the Jacaranda trees. We took our mom out for a walk and took some pictures to celebrate her 88th birthday. She just loved to soak up the outdoor fresh air. Playground was very dated and in full sun with zero shade. Tried to use the splash pad, which is inside the swimming pool area but it was only open for 90 minutes a day. However, there is was no accurate information about this online. Signage was lacking to find the water areas and playground. Sewage was overflowing next to the pickleball court and smelled terribly. The park is large but seems oddly laid out for maximum use, dated facilities and inconsistently maintained overall. Other park goers seemed very engaged in tennis and pickleball. read more

Always love to walk my dog in this beautiful park. It got a lot of green pastures, trees, and walking path that lead to a lot of places in the park like children area, BBQ area, tennis court, swimming pool, baseball field etc. But they do have a homeless problem in this park. A lot of them can be seen in the summer lying and occupying benches. But I never have any problem running into them. There are plenty of restroom in this park. It can be really busy certain time during the day. It seems like the local high school use this park for their running training. You can see high school kids (tons) running in big circle around the whole park around 2pm daily and sometimes early morning training as well. And when they run, they don't run in the walk way. They run wherever they like. That means, across the grass on the walk way, whatever they want. Most of the time they really scare my dog. read more

One huge gated baseball field, two softball fields, 12 tennis courts and a pro center, an aquatic center, lawn bowling, horseshoes, BBQ areas, kids playground, workout station, and 4 bathrooms! This is adjacent to the Arcadia Golf Course and together they take up the whole block! Lots of parking! I consistently walk at night in the park, and feel safe. Once in a while, the Arcadia police will drive through the park. I always see other people walking, even at 10PM. The tennis courts stay open past 10PM, so there's always a place to walk where it's fairly well lit. There is a paved walkway, but most of it is grass, grass, and more grass. Ever since that crazy wind and rain we had, a lot of the mature trees have been dying. A lot of them fell in the wind. So they are replanting. That being said, there are still a lot of huge trees, many of them on the north side of the park. This is a great place to have a family gathering, or just to bring kids to run around, read more

This vast expanse of grass is actually pretty nice park. There are lots of trees for shade, at least two nice sized baseball/softball diamonds, A playground for the little guys, and several picnic facilities. Interestingly, there is also a senior center with lawn bowling and what I can only imagine is shuffleboard. One of the nuances of the nearby Goldline construction on and adjacent to the 210 freeway is that several of the displaced homeless folks that used to live along the defunct railroad tracks have now taken up semi permanent residence in the park. Certainly, homeless people are not an uncommon site in suburban and urban parks. For the most part, these people seem to keep to themselves, however, and the general feeling in this park is that kids are safe... So long as they are supervised. We bring the little ones here for the occasional play date, and more often for AYSO soccer. The facilities are well-kept and clean. Before plantar fasciitis destroyed my running career, I join the many people who use this part as a long-distance running track. The adjacent municipal golf course, along with nearby restaurants, shops, schools, the police station, City Hall, Methodist Hospital, and so many other community resources make this a good central location for just about any endeavor. On most days, one can hear of the drum line from Arcadia high school in the distance... Which sort of ads to be a small town feel I'm in this pretty big suburban community. read more

It's a very large with various tennis court, large baseball field and tons of pic-nic bbq areas. The kids playground was very crowded at 11am on a Sunday. The bad thing is that there is no shaded areas in the kids playground so it probably gets too hot in the summer.
