Air Anderson is great! In the January cold snap our furnace…read morewent out. Yikes. We called Dana's Heating and Cooling as they had installed our furnace and serviced it over the years. I was told they could send a service guy in SEVEN DAYS!! We had no heat and even with that information she was unmoved. I then called Air Anderson. They were able to send Mark to our rescue. He came that same morning and was able to do a temporary fix so we could have heat. Once the cold snap was over Air Anderson sent Jose to do a permanent fix. He was able to reroute a PVC pipe so that very few inches of the pipe were exposed to the outside (thus subject to freezing). When Dana's did the original install there was many feet of exposed pipe which did freeze and caused the furnace to fail. He was professional and friendly, and after repairing the problem he fully explained it to me, and with multiple cameras showed me the pipes from my kitchen and basement all the way to the city line. Plumbing isn't cheap, but the bill was in line with other plumbing work I'd recently had done. One thing to note for potential customers is the plumber didn't have the option for me to pay by credit card - analog payments only. Just FYI.

(Even Doug couldn't understand what Shawn had written when I called to discuss it.) They were originally called to unblock the downspout because the corner of our basement was leaking. My contractor had tried for several hours, but couldn't really unblock it so he suggested calling a "professional". After spending over than $400 more, I guess the outcome is that although water appears to drain, they couldn't unblock it, couldn't get to the street, and that quite possibly water will continue to collect and flood the basement. It might be an adequate charge for what they do, and that the condition of the pipe is bad, but when I had another company try to unblock lines at a different location, they were able to clearly explain what they found (tree roots in the line) and what they'd suggest to really fix the problem and provide an estimate. Therefore, I'd say if I paid a lot of money and it couldn't be fixed, at least I could have expected some good information and direction to solve the problem. This I didn't receive. They were very nice and prompt, though.

He visited with us first to discuss what we were looking for, and was very knowledgeable throughout the estimating process and was patient while we waited for a few other bids to come in. He arranged for us to meet with homeowners that he had done work for previously and then came out a 3rd time when we finalized the agreement. So 3 on site visits from him was saying a lot when we couldn't even get a phone call back from other landscapers that had come recommended. His crew worked 10 hour days for the next week and the entire job was finished just like that. Pretty painless way to do business and we are very satisfied with the work performed.

What was advertised as a "deep clean" sounded perfect for our needs, but the time allotted to complete that service was entirely unrealistic. Thus, much of what was advertised was left undone, and the last twenty to thirty minutes of their time in our home was chaotic (especially after I clearly stated we would not be paying for extra time - beyond what we'd already paid for the "deep clean" service appropriate to our square footage). Additionally, when we did a thorough walkthrough after the team left, we found areas neglected and many items not returned to their proper places (other items were merely sitting askew throughout the house). It left us feeling like we weren't working with a professional team - though the service definitely came with a "professional" price tag. While there were certainly things we appreciated about the service (including the handling of our kitchen and Katie's engaging personality), we've hesitated to utilize the team again, mostly due to the overall chaotic energy we felt while the team was in our home.

You were unprepared and left several times to pick up supplies that should have been brought with. Standing around on the phone, chatting and treating this job as a social event mirrors the partially completed and terrible results that you left. When you compare the time and man hours spent here to the work that actually got done, you should be ashamed to accept the amount that you charged. I complained about my displeasure, requested a considerable partial refund. I'd invite them back if I felt that their work reflected a serious and considered work ethic, however that is far from the case. Do not use this service! SHAME! The construction was a challenge in so many ways, mainly because of the limitations and restrictions due to the small lot size and being high-bank waterfront. When we started the project it took over a year to find the right builder. We wanted someone we felt we could trust, who could fit our budget, was creative and resourceful without sacrificing quality, and someone easy to work with. Justin and his crew were all those and so much more. The work they do is meticulous. Every detail is well thought out. Not only could we trust and lean on them to make the right decisions on our behalf because we were so busy with work during the process, but they came up with countless ideas and suggestions that enhanced the home, yet magically within budget. Now after living in the home for 8 months we are still in awe with this amazing home we are living in that totally surpassed what we originally envisioned.
