Located on 48th St in the Centro Mall Plaza. We stopped in because they offered Takoyaki on the menu and I was not disappointed. The place was quiet and clean. The seating area was well spaced apart. They had a large isle of plants beside where you would line up to order. There was even a small fish tank on the side wall. While the place was empty, it looked like they may be times when the space gets busier: hence the gaming section near the front. We ordered: Mango Slushie - it was a thick delicious shake consistency and had chunks of red Mango or jello at the bottom; Vietnamese Coffee - my personal Vice is the sweet Asian Iced Coffees and Iced Teas. This was refreshing to me on many levels; and the Takoyaki appetizer - scrumptious octopus balls with a savory mayo-teriyaki sauce and what looked like paper-thin bonito flakes that waved from the heat of the dish. A brilliant touch. Perhaps next time we will try out some more of their "boba" drinks, but I am definitely ordering the Takoyaki appetizer again. Support your local businesses. read more

If you want to pleasure yourself, but also have a warm drink to soothe a sore throat, I recommend a Tea Vibe. It can do everything a regular Vibe does, except if you unscrew it, instead of merely batteries inside, there's also fresh-brewed tea that you can pour. I just worry about potential intimate-area-scalding-incidents. As opposed to intimate-area-scolding which is what dominatrices (xes?) (x?) are often paid to do, such as my gf. Super cute bubble tea shop in the East suburbs of Lincoln Nebraska, where I got a pretty decent milk tea. They're also famous for their shiny insta-worthy pea flower drinks which I will get next time I'm here. With Barbie of course since those are her thing. There was a super cute girl in here to which was nice. Customer not employee. With a boy so I didn't say hi. The decor is excellent. So in conclusion, I like the shop, but in order to get a five star it will need to have pretty damn good fruit drinks next time I bring Barbie here, if we're ever in Nebraska anytime soon... which is doubtful but I can hope. I did not expect to find such a high caliber bubble tea place in Lincoln! I would say that they have many options of cups and sizes as well as a great variety of flavors. Not only were the drinks tasty and aesthetic, the overall store has a great vibe too. The staff are friendly and gave great recommendations! What I got: - Strawberry Sparkling: $6 The "potions" are wonderfully colored and this drink in particular was recommended to me by the staff. I thought the seltzer was a nice addition that made drink very refreshing in the summer heat. I will say that the drink was a bit too sweet for me, so keep that in mind. They also have other fruity flavors that sound interesting. The thing that this place stands out that their unique cup selections. With 90cent, you could upgrade your drink in a light bulb or split cup to try 2 flavors at once. Thanks Tea Vibe to bring these West Coast trends to Nebraska. Their classic milk tea is delicious, but to compared to Thristea, it needs to be improve. The sugar and ice ratio are perfect. Ordered teavibe & mangonada, the woman in the front did not give us the option for smaller size. Straight up told us, everything comes in one size sorry... hm. Sketchy, just because we were asking tons of questions. Anyways, I gave this a 2/5, I am used to the variety back in California. I tried a few different flavors here and all of them were pretty good. The drinks taste fresh and not powdery like some wanna-be bubble tea shops. My only concern is the tapioca and fillings get clumped together on the bottom and doesn't mix well within the drinks. The customer service is great and the vibe is cool. This is the first all boba tea shop in Lincoln. I couldn't make it to the grand opening, so I went on the second day of opening and it was pretty busy. The service was good and the workers are very friendly. Our drinks took a while to come out, but that is to be expected since they just opened. I'm sure they will get the hang of it and will be a lot faster in the future! They ran out of a lot of their toppings, but that can be forgiven since they just opened and all of Lincoln has been trying to make a stop here to check it out. They have some unique cup options and for some extra change, you can have your drink in a lightbulb shaped cup, or if you are indecisive about two drinks, you can get them both in a split cup. They are definitely bringing some West Coast "vibes" to the Midwest with these cup options! I ordered the classic milk tea with grass jelly and crystal boba. The classic milk tea was okay. It was a bit too sweet for my liking. The crystal boba was a topping I have never heard before and I love it. It's a clear, chewy boba, with a bit of a "crunch" to it. They also put the perfect amount of ice into your drink. They have a small food menu for opening week which consists of taiyaki and takoyaki, so we ordered both to try. (They will have a larger food menu after opening week!) The taiyaki is like a fish-shaped cake that comes in three pieces. It taste like a pancake filled with nutella and comes warm. The takoyaki was pretty good. It's like a savory pancake batter fried ball, filled with octopus and has a variety of toppings on it. Definitely something new to try if you're feeling adventurous! 2 bad experiences out of the last 3 for our family visiting this place. About a month ago we came to get some drinks with our 5 month old and 3 year old, around an hour before closing. I think it was 7:05 or so and all the lights were on, "open" sign was lit up. We saw the two employees inside and got our kids out of their car seats. AS we walked up to the door they shut the lights off and the male greeted us at the door to tell us they were closing early. We were pleasant about it but it nothing we could do. We got turned away. The feeling I got was they didn't want any more customers, probably had already cleaned up for the night or were about to. On another visit a few weeks later was normal. The ramen was awesome and they got some redemption points! Just visited again tonight, and they lost all of my respect, and this time for good. We showed up around 7:10. Went up to the register and took a few seconds to look it over. Tried to order the ramen again - male employee (different from the last time) said something like "oh were not doing that today". You could just tell he was shaky/uncomfortable answering me so I felt like I knew something was up. I challenged him and directly asked him "why not" and he stumbled around with a response and finally settled on "oh we're out". I feel like I'm a pretty good detective and can smell BS when it's present and it certainly felt that way to me. In my opinion both these employees just didn't want to work late at night and did what they could in the moment to not have to serve us but c'mon, almost an hour before close in both instances? You just can't be that lazy and expect to keep people's business. They won't have that problem going forward with our family. read more

I really wanted to like this place since we are boba fanatics and couldn't be more excited to hear about a new boba place in NE. The interior is very cute, nice, and clean. We got no complain about the decor. However, everything went downhill once we started ordering. Counter service was kind of unprofessional, awkward, and not really friendly. We liked the big menu with a good selection of toppings, however a lot of it were unavailable. I guess all of these factors are understandable since they are new and they were busy. I ordered their classic Tea Vibe Milk Tea with boba, mini boba, egg pudding, and taro pudding. My friends got a Jasmine Milk Tea with boba, and a split cup with Classic Milk Tea and one of their Cool Vibe drink. The cups and straws were nice, and the split cup looked very cool with the Cool Vibe drink. Their sweetness and ice level were good too. That's really all the good things I can say about the drinks. The milk tea was rich and creamy, but got zero tea flavor. It tasted like watered down creamer. I can't even tell the difference between the Classic and the Jasmine Green Tea. The boba were a little mushy on the outside and while it was still chewy inside, it didn't taste fresh at all. The mini boba got zero chewiness and we saw it being scooped out of a huge tray where they all clumped up together. It's hard to convince that their boba was fresh. The bathroom was dirty and ran out of paper and soap as well. From my first experience, I wouldn't be too excited to come back for more. The tea is not very good in my opinion, a lack of flavor, undercooked boba, and too much boba does not make a drink that is worth the price it is. Also the Service is quite slow.
